  1. "Follow Bubba, I'm going 7 wood! " Just hit my new A Grind 7 wood that I got thru BST. Shafted with NS Pro Regio Formula MB 75 Stiff tipped 1.25" or so. Best feeling fairway wood ever! Sound is fairly muted with that soft tiny "ting" sound. Trajectory is slightly higher and distance goes about 5 yards more than my 3U. And best of all, no hooks from this thing. It goes straight. Perhaps the shaft but I am gonna use it on the course to see if i can take out mis-hits to the left compared to my 3 Hybrid.
  2. Maan that's a beautiful driver!
  3. TPC..... What's that like?! :) .... Drooling with envy! Let us know how the Stinger works with the Labospec!
  4. I don't understand their sales strategy. This driver looks so mainstream in terms of shape and performance. Why would they only make limited numbers? They could easily sell more of these.

If you want to save condition information or pics on an item that you are considering for purchase, as a safety practice, you should request pics thru PM before making the purchase. That's what I would do.

Well put !! Golfer75 ! I totally agree with you. While I am not opposed to this idea, reality is that the original posted prices usually are not the actual final price as negotiations happen behind the scenes and are not recorded for everyone's visibility. Bottom line, this is not an auction site and deals mostly take place privately. What is the primary objective of exposing previous sales data? Is it an attempt to regulate used equipment prices? I have seen obscenely high prices on some items here as well as super deals ... but the prices usually normalize itself based on supply and demand. I think.
  7. So which head do you like better , the Labospec or 153?
  8. The fine milling ( not deep ) gives it a nice firm touch. Not too clicky yet not too soft. I really like the feel of this head. I can't putt consistently enough to justify keeping it.

I agree with Mikey. G30 is as big as it gets within conforming heads.

Not sure if this is a fair comparison cause they are slightly different angles, but the Romaro Ray Alpha does seem to have this shallow back profile.

G30 and PRGR Egg 1 both have elongated crowns and are high MOI forgiving heads. head shape seen from above may be in a similar league but head weights are completely opposite. 207g or something on the G30 and 190g or less on the PRGR Egg 1 both designed for longer shafts in mind. but I liked them both as they both do a great job at getting the ball far out there!
  12. Wow. a tour rat with GF mod! that should be spectacular! do show it off to us when you get it back!
  13. Great choices of keepers!
  14. So my question is..... what putter remains in your bag?
  15. Thanks for letting me know!! Diamana Blue 10th Anniv in great condition still available!!
  16. I tried the GR55 and for me it was too light. High launching low spin shaft that you should use at a longer length with a lighter head is my take on the GR50 and GR55. Hope this helps.
  17. Great!! I went a head and ordered a couple sets. What's great about these covers is that it's a 4-P, A, S set unlike the 3-P, S from Club Glove. I mean how many people around you even have 3 irons anymore? It matches my iron and wedge set completely AND they are cheaper at $30 USD by today's exchange rate. I will report back when I receive them.
  18. What's most interesting to me is that feel wise, aside from the better vibration dampening charactristic, the shaft feels and swings very similar my current steel shaft. I think the switch is going to be rather easy... maybe too soon to tell but promising for sure.
  19. On a side note, I searched online for a cool set of head covers for my new irons and found these. http://swiiish.myxiaobazaar.com/golf-iron-cover-white Anyone used these before?
  20. Alright guys, ready for this? I just came back from a quick range session with a few of my new irons. I tried the 4 and 7 irons and the 52 wedge. I also brought with me my current gamer Tourstage X-Blade and X-Wedge to compare. First up: X Wedge 52 deg / WV115 vs Buchi VS200 52 deg / Modus Wedge 105 Buchi has more of a teardrop shape. Easy to aim and align. Distance wise not a bit of a difference at about 105 yrd carry measured on my Yupitel Atlas. Feel wise, the X Wedge has a solid feel and not really known for being soft at impact to begin with. On the other hand, Buchi has added thickness behind the hitting area for enhanced feel. and yes I can say this is one of the softest feeling wedges I have hit ever. Sticky and buttery feel at impact that you can feel even when chipping. This is my first wedge made with S15C but man I am so happy I got these with the irons. Modus Wedge shaft I think is helping with keeping the trajectory lower. Not getting as high of a trajectory compared with the X Wedge WV115 combo. But I have no issues with this. as long as it generates enough speed to stop the ball on the greens. Will have to keep an eye on that during my rounds. Next up: X-Blade 4i and 7i / NS Pro 1150GH Stiff vs VS200 4i and 7i / OTi 95 Stiff The weight difference of the shaft are 116g vs 99g raw. You would think this is quite a bit of a difference and I was also worried that it might feel too light at first. It felt fine .. and I am comfortable switching to these without any hesitation. Distance wise, my Yupitel was pretty much indicating the same carry distance on both the 4 and 7 irons. That's a good thing since I don't have to memorize different distances with the new ironset. :) Feel: Please be reminded we're comparing Endo forged S20C Tourstage cavity backs which in my mind is one of the better feeling irons on the market to begin with. I am actually not sure if the Buchi VS200 irons are made of S20C or S25C. Either way, Buchi feels as good or slightly softer than the X Blades. This could well be a result of the OTi shafts as well. I would classify this softness in the same league as the Yonex Nextage Nanov cavities ( not the Ryo model ) I played a while back. You pure it and you feel almost "nothing" at impact. Off center hits did not put as much sting in my hands either compared to the 1150s. Forgiveness: The Buchis do have a blade like look overall, but when you hit it, you realize that it is actually quite forgiving. They are not demanding than my X Blades. They also share a similar look from the top at address. They do not look too intimidating. Trajectory: Both in the 7 iron and 4 iron, the Buchi VS200 irons flew higher. Mitsubishi claims these shafts are mid trajectory. I classify them as mid-high trajectory. Shots with the 4 Iron flew high enough that it looked like it would be enough height to stop the ball in a couple of hops on the green. Perhaps not the most ideal flight in side wind conditions. But not to worry as I have MP62 irons with TT Monaco's for those days. Dispersion: Here is where the new irons absolutely felt advantageous over the X blade 1150 combo. While I am much more used to my X blades, even in the 20 or so shots I hit between the X-blade and VS200, you could immediately tell that the VS200/OTi combo had tighter dispersion over the Xblade/1150 combo. I am just amazed!! I love this technology! And this is why I feel comfortable putting these in play right away. Overall, I feel that I chose the right head and shaft combo that I can play to improve my shot making! As long as Buchi and Mitsubishi don't come up with new and improved products too soon, I feel that I can stay with these sets!! I waited a whole month as these heads were on back order. It was well worth the wait!!
  21. I used to use the normal models as well. Though they are cavity backs, they play and feel more or less like muscle backs. Endo forged 1020 with boxy toes. What is not to like!! :)
  22. I'll be trying it out hopefully in the next couple of days! :) Only thing I am a bit worried about is the 4 iron. I currently use a 4 iron in a cavity back .... which I sometimes struggle with getting enough height. I have tried 4 iron in muscle backs in the past and did not do so well. We'll see how forgiving these heads are and hoping the OTi shaft will help with the launch.
  23. Look what I got today!! Buchi VS200 4-PW w/OTi 95 S and VS200 52 and 58 with Modus 105 Wedge I got the new Iomic L-Ject grips for them and wow these are really soft feeling for being cord grips. and I love the Badass Sheep logo with the sunglasses! Can't wait to try them out... Thanks to TSG for your help in getting these ordered to spec!! This is as high quality of a build as it gets!
