  1. DG Pro are sold!
  2. I think those are reasonable prices! Good luck with your sale!
  3. You remember how much you paid for them originally, right? Do remember to follow the posting rules. Too many people don't follow the rules. ( Paper with name and date in the pics ) There are no bidding system here . Just post with what you think is a reasonable price. you can set the price firm or accept best offers. include shipping, exclude shipping, Paypal gifted , etc....
  4. Just came back from a round. ended early due to cold rain... First, to my surprise, the grip master grips need some type of tack aid. they are a bit slick for my taste. Not a huge issue but I have very dry hands so it exaggerates. Feel: Compared to the OTi shafts, these STP shafts are a bit more stout feeling, not bad. I can swing hard with these with good straight shots whereas the OTI will start to spray if I swing too hard perhaps just a flex thing. Trajectory: Think polar opposites !! :) OTi goes very high compared STP. STP might be the lowest trajectory shafts I had in irons. I once had DG Tour Issue S400 in Yonex irons and these STPs are even lower launching. Cuts thru the wind very nicely! Distance wise, I think they are good! The temperature today here in Bozeman was in the low 50s so the ball was not really going anywhere I'll have to do a side by side comparo using my Yupitel and see what kind of distances I get. MP62 has a 47deg PW VS200 has a 45deg PW but due to the lower launch on the MP62, perhaps they might be getting similar distances. Just a guess. Overall the STPs are very playable and highly stable feeling shaft with very low launch. I just regret that I have not used graphite shafted irons sooner..
  5. that D'arcy in the dark colored version totally look sick. They should put a hickory shaft in it!
  6. my previous exprience with gripmasters are that they are very long lasting.
  7. Thanks. Yeah... biggest ho'ing streak ever this year! probably time to slow down now... well in a month or two.. hopefully
  8. Thanks! Yup, most likely.... Been trying to off load the X Blade limited but no one seems to be interested. :( Tough market!
  9. The Buchi's have their place as my main gamer at the moment. Worst case, I might alternate between the two sets. Yes, I will post reviews of the shafts hopefully after this weekend.
  10. you've probably seen my Copper MP62s in previous posts. Well, I had them shafted with TT Monacos earlier this summer but ever since I got my Buchis shafted with OT shafts, I really wanted to get nice graphites for my Mizunos as well. I was initially thinking about the CBI-80 but they were actually sold out with the Stiff flexes... so I did some research and read up on the Crazy STP Protos in 100g. So here they are.... back from Japan. May be hard to tell from the pics but these graphite shafts are stepped!! How cool is that! Stability of Steel combined with Performance benefits and vibration dampening properties of Graphite! The wedges have black Ion NS 1050GH that I got a long time ago. Big thanks to Chris for arranging the custom assembly of these irons!!! They assembled these perfectly! Planning to take her out for a spin over the weekend. Will report back on how the shaft performs!
  11. Handmade in Japan , very traditional looking , Very old school! Doesn't break the bank either! :)
  12. I just ordered myself a Morita MGLP. They have been out of stock for at least a year , maybe longer ... they are back with limited stock! Very traditional looking L putter from the very first golf equip company in Japan.
  13. went out for a quick 9 last night and things are getting even better. on a 438 par 4 where I usually have a 135 to 150 yrd approach shot, I had 113 to the pin. it's a slight right dogleg so i dont think it actually went 325 but nonetheless a very very long drive for me. Still not 100% recovered yet from injury and not using my left pinky in my grip. LOL! ( cuz it still hurts like hell when i do ) I am missing to the left more than i usually do possibly because of the left grip. Really looking forward to full recovery so I can maximze the performance of this beast! Still loving my Zodia 3wd as well. the thing is so long! For such a large headed fw, it is very easy to hit off the deck.
  14. I see... that explains it. Thanks for clarifying.
  15. "Twin Turbo" Seriously !?
  16. I have no issues swinging my club. But this preference may differ from person to person ....
  17. 46.5" D8 ... Hmm sounds familiar... Oh! my Grandista / 7D is about that! Have you tried it in its current form already? Does it feel too long and heavy? If you want to get it down to D1.5 with a 46" length, you needed a much lighter head. Got the below info from another site: ****** 1/2" = 3 swing weight points 2 gr club head weight = 1 swing weight point 5 gr grip = 1 swing weight point 9 gr shaft weight differences = 1 swing weight point ******* In your case: D8 down to D2 ( for the sake of approximation ) Length: cut down 1" to get it to D2 or Reduce the headweight by 12g ( weight adjustable on the head? ) or Add 30g to the but end / grip or Reduce the shaft weight by 54g ... = a 1g shaft? that doesn't work. :) So realistically, I think cutting down an inch or adding 30g to the grip are the two realistic options here.
  18. The offset actually does not look bad at all. But why did they use shiney black on the areas visible at address and matt black around the cavity?... Seems counterintuitive. Shape wise looks really nice for being a GI iron.
  19. Nice Stew-san! your IPT does look brand new!
  20. Interesting .. this is an older post .. yet I just received a notification an hour ago.
  21. Oh boy..... lot of people craving for these I think!
  22. The new Wilson 8802 limited is not a bad putter. Actually very solid
  23. Miura KM008 (SP01 in Japan ) , Morita MGLP , Masda L Putter , Kronos D'Arcy , Buchi Geroge Low type limited ( Looks like Kitada made to me )
  24. Currently working with Chris on some putter head refinishes that I wanted to do for a long time. I also have a Yamada IPT Ibushi that needs some restoring work but due to the use of an insert and silicone pad behind it, it has to be done by someone who can take the head apart, possibly like Gold's . And maybe that is my only solution I have but wanted to find out if anyone on this forum has done an IPT restore/refinish in the past. Just for the heck of it, I actually emailed Yamada putters thru their website yesterday to ask whether they provide restoration work for their putters. I was really careful with my choice of words since I knew from my previous experience he is your typical stubborn Japanese craftsman type. These craftsmen will not entertain anything that is outside of their normal best practice. They know what's best and that's how they work, period! Flexibility? what flexibility? :) Anyway, within hours, got a response, I believe, from Yamada-san himself. Response went like this ( literally translated ) : - Will not do - Parts no longer available and no time to do interestingly, I am not surprised or upset at all..... I guess that is what I expected :) One thing that does impress me is that he does respond to email very quickly! Got a good chuckle from this experience and so I wanted to share!
  25. gotta respect the fact that the Jason Day replicas are generating more return on investment than any other tour replicas of recent. a couple of these already on the bay .... one going for more than triple the original price. I was actually lucky enough to get my order thru before they sold out all 20 pieces in a matter of 90 seconds. :)
