    Your right. It's late here!

Yes. I recently put them in my epon and yam 3 wood. Excellent shafts. I have 6.9 in yam and 7.4 flex in epon. Different flights and distances obviously, but both dead straight and ultra reliable. Best thing I have done in a long time. I am crazy mad mind - just think their gear is awesome !
  3. well I was gaming ther Yam V202 tour with Diam X until the Epon 0 arrived. I have hit them back to back on course and range and currently the Zero is winning for feel and distance..... I guess I am the odd one out. Today, into wind, 270 yard drives witht he Zero. There is no back spin on the ball whatsoever....
  4. Phew!!
  5. Ummmm - if your pic is correct, I will need the order to be checked as I asked for the new milling on the order.
  6. loft is 21, flex is R, length 41" and swing weight D3.2

Got my UT built today and took it straight to range. Fitted with Crazy UT shaft. Wow! Absolutely brilliant. Been missing a three iron for a while now, and this puppy is going to fill the gap good and reckon its gonna be my go to safe play shot too. Lovely flight and consistent striking. Great combo.
  8. Thank you Sir. It's amazing the amount of compliments I have had in a week on this putter. All so far have no idea who Gold's is and say "who?". Am really enjoying putting with it.
  9. Well, its been an interesting introduction. Hit a few balls on the range and compared against the Yam with Diam X shaft. Then went and played 9 holes. Certainly need more time but my initial impressions are positive: - It's fantastic to look at at address - just inspires confidence - it's a new shaft as well as a new head to get to know, but I think the Crazy shaft in this spec is a good match for me with this head - The feeling off the face comes across harsh with no give BUTTTTTTTT for whatever reason the results I found were forgiving - I did not pure one drive but they all found the fairway or first cut of rough - Distance (carry), given i'm not dialed in yet is okish - on the range ball carried 250ish into a moderate head wind, BUTTTTTT roll - oh my goodness does the ball roll, and roll and roll - not seen anything like it (playing with ProV1 too). - Ball flight - you can visibly see why it's called the ZERO! It's like the ball is a bullet piercing the air (for me with a good arc) and then dropping and rolling forward. So, yes, I do need to spend more time with her and I understand why people have made the comments they have. Yes, the head does feel harsh but the results showed there is forgiveness. I was not swinging well today but the ball was always in play . As an aside, the 3 wood was simply astonishing - long and straight. I thought the Yam inpress was great, but this is another notch up!
  10. Ok, so like many here, when Epon announced the Zero I was intrigued. Even before I knew details I wanted it and ordered it. I am impulsive - especially when it comes to highly skilled and crafted pieces of equipment (just ask my wife ). It's a bonus that the Epon Zero is indeed a work of art. It's been quite a wait, but today the courier arrived with a long brown box saying Epon on it. Inside, the Zero had been lovingly packed with a spec sheet and letter - nice touch. I specified the Crazy Black CB50 and Iomic grip and these have complimented the head - it simply looks awesome - if looks could kill - this is the daddy. I am certainly going to feel very confident standing on the T, looking down at this weapon! So, later today when the sun is not so high and the temprature a little lower, I will venture out to see if my swing can grace the majesty of this awesome driver. I will be back to let you know. Photo attached to indicate how great it looks.
  11. Well, its been a few days since my Yamaha arrived and I have been gaming it solidly. I AM LOVIN IT. I had a spell where I kept pulling it left but it was all to do with my swing. After correcting the swing I have been bombing it. the third hole on one of my home course (Fire) is a 423 par 4. Normally when I hit driver I end up between the bunker around 280 yards having had roll. I played 9 with my mate and he was keen to see the new driver in action..... I hit my drive and the ball carried over the bunker (280 yards) and ended up with me having 40 yards to the green. My mate was impressed. On all the other driving holes I was 20 to 80 yards further than him. Even the off hits are going a long way because of the low spin and are straight. I am now able to get to Par 5's in 2. My Yam VFW 14 arrived today. I have had it re-shafted with the Crazy FW - can't wait to try that either. The story continues.... Cheers
  12. Thanks. Getting good roll that is for sure. Nice consistent feel off the face too.
  13. Thanks Spoon! Just done 9 holes and its brilliant! They made it slightly heavier than I ordered and I was worried but it just feels right. It's the first putter I have taken from the box and it immediately was putting the ball close to the hole. It has a copper face as I wanted a really soft feeling and its magic! Gonna change the grip to a black and yellow one though. My only criticism is I can't believe how manky the headcover is! I mean, come on dudes, my Odyssey headcovers are better!
  14. Received my custom Gold's Factory putter today and thought I would share with you
  15. Asked for it 7.2 - still waiting
  16. Finally received my Yamaha V Tour driver with Diamana X 70 S shaft. Went to the course to see (with some degree of worry) if it was worth the hard earned cash. Had a good warm up and stretch and then, rather than hit my usual driver I decided to hit the new baby. Bang, ummmmm, did that really go that far and straight? Did it again. A few then slightly faded but generally if I kept my swing path and tempo in check, they were fine. Then went out onto course, as for me, this is THE TEST. Played 9 holes and on the driving holes used the driver. Two shots were pulls but still in first cut of rough. Others were on the tight green stuff and a few were monsters. On both the par 5's I was on the green in two. On the stroke index 1 hole, I had 160 yards to green where I normally have 185. So what are my thoughts? I am impressed greatly. The club feels quite heavy, but was built to D1.5. I understand what others are saying by it not having much feel. It seems as though what ever swing I gave it, it seemed to cope with anything and on some it almost said "is that all you got....!!" When I kept my swing path and tempo in check, I really got hold of the thing and it just flew - superb flight and LONG. More importantly, it was the misses that counted. First driver I have had where the misses were still leaving me in play. The feel is hard to describe - you certainly know when it's a good un - it just feels the shaft is an extension of your arm and as you turn back to impact the energy gets transferred from your body all to the club head and its a great moment. Even the off shots. Obviously a honeymoon period and I have club champs this weekend but I am VERY HAPPY. Will be interesting when I get the Zero with Crazy CB 50.
  17. WOW - that sounds interesting indeedy - cheers Thanks spoon! They are brilliant shafts aren't they. Finding even the long irons just stop dead. Out of interest, how are you both finding the flight? Do you ever get a slight draw and then as it drops it fades? Cheers
  18. Anyone have an idea of what driver shafts would match the playing characteristics of Nippon Modus 3 (S)? Been gaming the Modus with my epon's and am now really getting to grips - love the kick and feel.

I would say one of the best combo's out there! I went with Crazy CB 50 shaft instead. Diamana X in my Yamaha (arriving shortly). May swap around depending on results....

It's now on the pro-shop - more pics and looks amazing. Got my order in and can't wait!!
  21. I am curious to know why people will game this driver when its non - conforming? NOT criticising just interested to hear reasons.
  22. I have been mulling my results over and still can't believe how amazing it was - and why it was? I mean a driver with a swing weight I don't even know (its light man), shaft cut to 45" on a shaft meant to be 46" or longer to perform... being able to swing my natural swing (I have a violent transfer that have been trying to temper), just turn my shoulders back through and let it go.... been the first driver I truly been able to do this and in windy conditions too! Really liked the feel as well. Sat here shaking my head and wanting to go hit it now.... Quite excited about the Yamaha arriving next week and the Epon zero after. Advice on the Black 50 appreciated. Couple of questions: 1) How does the black feel in comparison to the royal deco? 2) Given I have found ideal shaft in 80LS in 6.9 and royal deco in X cut to 45" - what shaft flex shpuld I go for (I will want Epon Z in 45" too) Thanks for the encouragement - working very hard on my golf - big shout out to my golf coach Mark Gregson-Walters here in Dubai - started working with him four weeks ago and just like my journey with the shafts, I have found a good-un!
  23. Hey Robbie - sounds like you been going on the same driver journey as me (nice to know there are others out there trying all sorts). It's a special moment when it clicks.
  24. Ok, been on a fantastic journey with my golf and working hard on my game/swing. It's really paying off. I am also an equipment geek and like to experiment. Poor Tario.... (he has been brill!!). I have been mucking about with drivers/shafts etc as some will have seem posts on Crazy/RBZ etc... Before this combo, I had a Crazy 435II with royal dec S but this was awful. Then fitted royal dec X shaft but swing weight was not achieved so I shelved it. Been gaming Crazy 80Noir ls 7.4, recently changed to 6.9 with a tour head and its been great. I went to range today and for some reason took the crazy head with royal dec shaft. Warmed up and as I did so, man it blowed a hoolie here in Dubai. I was in the far corner of range and hitting into the wind. Out came the Crazy/rd combo first swing, bang!!! dead straight into wind landed and rolled onto green 270 yards.... simply stunned, lucky I thought. did it again - same result, tried again 14 times and all but one (horrible left shot) were all very similar. I then compared to gaming club RBZ tour with 80 noir LS - flight higher and did not go as far (not by much though). I am taking delivery of yam V tour with diamana X next week also. So to the valued opinions of you on here... Seems my swing and golf is getting to a point I can quickly adapt to different shafts and swing weights but should I stick to one or what? I am asking as I am getting Epon Zero and am wondering what shaft to use? I was thinking of ordering the Black 50 for the epon.... The thing I noticed about the royal deco was I could be a lot more violant in transition and turn hard. With the Noir, it has to be timed well - which is easy. With both shafts my really bad shot is left (not a snap hook - more a low horrible straight pull). This is why I was thinking about the black 50. Or do I go for royal dec in an even stiffer flex.... thoughts welcomed....
