Titleist forged wedges
I have the 62 and been gaming it for a few months now. AWESOME club. I have it with shafted with K S Wedge 120. Out of bunkers it's hilariously good, off the fairway with square set up it pops up, rolls a foot or two and stops and most surprising is on my course the rough is nice rye/bermuda comba cut nicely - I can open the blade up and get it to stop on a six pence! I am considering changing the shafts as it feels a bit too stiff so the "feel" of the head gets a bit missed - which is not something I want. Best wedge I have ever owned.

First round w/ Diamana Ten
Appreciate the report as I have just ordered exact spec from Tario! What length and swing weight? Cheers
-
diamana X first play
Dude - after all this umming and arring, I have asked Tario to find me the head and put a Diamana X in it - all thanks to you..... Just need to work out which spec shaft to actually get. I wanna have it 44 inches long.

Odyssey Japan Tour Designs iX Putters Black Series
Delicious putters! Interesting to read about going longer - I always thought the taller you go the less "pendulum" motion you have and you become more handsy. I'm 5'7 and have found 32" best for me but with around 355/360g. Gonna be gaming a Gold's special (from you guys!!) - can't wait for it to arrive

Got my new Yamaha V Tour Irons..
They arrived today (thanks Tario!). Shafted with DG S200. Took a seven iron and did back to back test against my Epons with Nippon Modus shafts. Did not like the DG shaft (never tried them before). Also, my Epons are individually swing weighted whereas the Y's are all D2. The feel of the Yamaha heads however felt great and I think with the Nippon Modus will simply be awesome . Happy Days

Please help me - 3 wood & Utility choice
Want to change to JDM heads for 3 wood and utility - would appreciate opinions as to what to get. I know the PRGR spoons are favourite here, but I just don't like the look of them. I am guessing for 3 woods it would be the Yamaha 2012 but which model? For utility, I want a club to replace 3 iron - thoughts on Yamaha (again which model?) and Crazy appreciated. Shafts going into these will be Crazy FW and util. Thanks in advance.

Nippon Modus 3
I have Nippon Modus 3's in my Epons AND miuras. I did extensive shaft test - tried DG, Shimadas, KBS. I come from using PX. I hav now been gaming the modus 3's for 14 weeks and am really happy. Great in the wind too. They have a different feel and kick to other shafts. My swing speed is 88mph with a 6 iron. I was right between S and X, so decided to go with S flex but hard step them. the swing weights of my clubs have gone lighter as a result but boy am a having fun. Am just about to take delivery of Yam V tours and will stick modus X in but soft step them just to see how they go. Like Stew, great great shafts.

Crazy shaft fitted to rocketballz.......
Hey Supo - how you doing man I take it the rbz was hit with standard shaft that comes with it? Mine feels different with the crazy shaft in. It's still going good and better than any driver I have had to date, BUT with you keep going on about the Yamaha...... I have also reserved the Epon Zero - just weighing up which crazy shaft to put in it - a huge consideration for me in the UAE, as I have gone through a fair few Crazy shafts now.... RBZ tour 3 wood and utility heads arrive this week, which my crazy 3 wood and utility shafts going in. Happy days!

Driver build advice
I have been thinking about that. Still got to work out current driver swing weight, it will be interesting to see what it is.... Wouldn't it be cool if there was a list of all the pros and their swing weights - I think it would be a real eye opener

Driver build advice
I have Taylor Made RBZ with Crazy Noir LS 7.4 flex and its 46.5" long. I am wanting to build a shorter driver with the same head and have same shaft but in 6.9 flex. I want to make it 44.5" for more consistency. Should I try to make the shorter driver same swing weight as longer one? Thanks in advance for advice.

Crazy shaft fitted to rocketballz.......
I totally agree with the club matching swing not head - goodness me I have tried and tried many combos, even the RBZ tour head with the same carzy shaft in the regular RBZ head and even that is not as consistent as the combo as stated in the origin of this thread. What I would value is what is your opinion on the best driver head for distance out there - particularly paired with crazy shafts (just gotta have them!!)? I like the look of the PGR's, Yamaha's, onoff. What about the new Epon?coming out?

Gold's Factory Putter Advice
I am looking for a soft feeling traditional looking putter and would appreciate feed back on if either of the following two putters would suit: 1) Kanji Putter 2) Lucky Clover Would also like to know what material feels softest out of carbon steel or JISSUS303. I will get it customized so any tips appreciated also - especially on the grip. Kind regards

Crazy shaft fitted to rocketballz.......
Crazy 435II but did not get on, then tried in R11, was better but with this head it just clicked for me.

Crazy shaft fitted to rocketballz.......
By pure chance I got to try a new 9.5 degree rocketballz driver head and fitted it with my 80 ls noir 7.4 shaft and my goodness did it turn out well. The most consistent, long and brilliant ball flight I have ever experienced with a driver. I have been on quite a long search for a driver like this and it seems I have finally found it and so glad one of the many crazy shafts I have recently bought has found a home! I am very happy.

My Swing Stat's!!
I have just had some new clubs built (Precision Golf) and tried shimada's pro's and tours, modus 3's in stiff and X and dynamic gold. I currently played PX at 6.2. Best shaft for me was modus 3 in stiff, hard stepped - great flight and groupings and a nice feeling club. My swing speed av 87mph with irons. Try the modus 3 in s and x is my recommendation.

AF Tour or AF 302
I have just received my Epon Tour/302 combo and can honestly say they are AMAZINGGGG! I went back to UK over Christmas and tested various shafts and by far the best for me was Nippon promodus 120 in S flex and these have been hard stepped. It was a hard decision between S and X in these shafts and I may change to X but we will see. I have practiced last two days with them and played 9 holes today. I have PW, 9 and 8 in tour and 7 - 4 in 302's. I am finding the shafts are giving great consistant flight and dispersion. The PW in the tour is to die for and I if it were a woman I would do anything for her..... (she is, after all a looker!) I have come off Miura's with PX 6.0 flex - which i still love too.

Updated 3/1/12 - A tale of Crazy Shafts
Guys - thanks so much for the feedback. Pole Possy indeed - I like your style! I have some VERY GOOD and interesting feedback for you. I decided to try the 80LS Noir in my R11 head. Got it back tonight and met my mate at the range (jeans, trainers, cold and no intention to hit balls!). When he handed me the club, MAN did it feel good - it just felt right! He said "just hit one...." I hit seven or eight balls and I can honestly say I have not had such a good response. The first one went long with a slight fade, second low slightly to the right (swung to hard), slowed my takeaway down and BINGO - great flight, striaght as an arrow and long! I was cold and tight and ...... Go figure that one out. I am amazed/gobsmacked and drooling at the thought of going to my range tomorrow in the sun and hitting proper balls. Still going to get a royal dec to put in my Crazy head, but man, the 80 LS noir in the R11 head is a weapon indeed!
