  1. Quote from TSG shop - The 787 Bangvoo has lower torque and an overall stiffer profile than the Rombax Bangvoo Premium. I don't know the difference between Speeder tech and Rombax tech unfortunately.
  2. My 787 says 265cpm on the shaft.
  3. I think it's slightly more controlled than the Stinger (1st gen), but that could also be down to the head its in. jBEAM 535. 10g weight on the toe to help me not go left!! From watching Chris' and Tatsuro's review of this shaft, Chris mentions that the 787 has 'Speeder' technology rather than 'Rombax' technology in the other Muziik Bangvoo Premuim shafts..
  4. I totally agree guys. This is definitely a control shaft, and it's what I was after. My search could be over. If you have no need for a distance shaft but struggle with dispersion, get one of these :)
  5. If you can find one, get a Kuro Kage Proto Tini. Great shaft. Maybe the XT is this years retail version. If you're in the Far East, try a Muziik Bangvoo 787. Definitely try one of the Diamana Stingers if you can find one and if you don't mind a used shaft. By the way, my SS is in the same ball park and I also preferred the TW 455 over the other 2. Good choice.
  6. Trade for Miura PP 9003 or CB2006 heads also.
  7. For a quick sale I'll include postage at the advertised price.
  8. I'll be testing the 535 later this week. Will report back.
  9. I agree with everything the OP says. I really need to get some lessons and play more golf instead of buying and selling, and then buying some more!!
  10. A little about myself - I swing at around 104mph with driver. I don't really know how to describe my swing, but I 'think' I have a slowish and smooth take back with an aggressive transition. I'm 43yrs old, 6ft tall and slim build. I haven't had much time with the club, but here are my thoughts on the shaft: As you would have seen from my signature, I'm a big fan of Diamana shafts, in particular those that have a profile similar to Blueboard. It just works for me. Unfortunately this Roddio doesn't fit my swing. It has a nice 'glassy' feel to it, which I think is similar to some Crazy shafts like the CB50. It launched a little higher than I wanted when I gamed it yesterday. Distance was very similar to my Srixon/Stinger combo, so no problems there, but it wasn't as tight or as stable for my swing. Others would probably find it the other way round, as after all we're all different. Hope this helps. Ian.
  11. Head and shaft in near mint condition. Shaft was a demo shaft and is a one time pull. Original headcover included. This has a small tear. Please see picture. No marks on the crown or sole. Face shows small signs of actually hitting balls. Plays to 45". SW was either D2 or D2.5. Can't remember exactly. Shaft has a 3g tip weight. Club weight is 326g on my kitchen scales. Face looks to be square. I've read that the standard 9.5* is supposed to be 0.5* open. SOLD. Trade interests would be Epon RF551, head only.
  12. Can you put your user name and date next to your irons please?
  13. Oh dear.........what do I do....
  14. I use the C-Taper iron shaft in my wedges. I say iron shaft because I've read they are 9 iron shafts straight in and but trimmed...... Very high launch. Can't really gauge spin at the mo, as the greens are so wet the ball just plugs.
  15. Oh man. Those Quadra iron shafts are awesome. Someone needs to snap them up pronto!!
  16. Great photos Chris. Why are some people wearing masks?
  17. Hi. Where did you get those ferrules in the sus from? Thanks
  18. I'm a bit of a fan of Diamana shafts, so I'm with supo. Kai'li is a great FW shaft. Had a 70x in a Yamaha 3w and it was awesome. Sold it. Lol. I have a KK Proto in my 5w and it's fantastic, but as usual we always love to tinker with things that aren't broken, so I have a 1st generation Stinger 70s on it's way to try in my 5w! I have mid-flight with the KK but I'm looking for even more 'feel' from the Stinger.
