  1. I normally have problems with all the Crazy shafts. None seem to fit me (CB46, TJ80, LY01 Hot, 80LS nior), but the Boron seems to fit me most. Still I find it's still demanding (IMO, all Crazy shafts are too demanding). This X Line really surprised me. It not only has the stability of Crazy Black line up, it's super forgiving. I hit Absolutely zero hook with this shaft and the S model head. For me, I have find my Holy Grail. It just knocked Maxima Type V and t388 out of my bag.
  2. I wasn't able to shape shots with this driver. It super forgiving and go very straight. The most easy to hit driver I have ever play. It doubted me how a crazy shaft and head are not as user friendly as TRPX although it has the same maker and designer. Distance average is as good as t388 and maxima type V, but no bombs like those 2 either. But who need a bomb if all the drive are in 290ish yards and all in the fairway. I really love this driver and will game from now on. Can't wait for a FW version to come out.
  3. I just had a round with this driver S model with X line shaft in X flex. Built at D2 swing weight. DAT55 or not, this driver felt and perform much better than 435ii and George Spirits mono driver. Super forgiving and user friendly. I didn't miss any of the fairways and scored 75 even haven't play golf for 2 months!! Very long carry distance, sound crisp, feel sensation to hit just like t388. The only negative I find in this Driver is the lack of ROLL. The Maxima Type V roll more but harder to get straight shots with when compare to TRPX. Overall, this S model TRPX replaces every other driver I possess!! Love it.
  4. I don't think the face is DAT55. I like the Dat55 face on 435ii and Gorge Spirites MoNo. It would have been a better head if they put DAT55 on the face.
  5. I'm pretty late on this TRPX driver and shaft....just went to get my Driver today. Haven't hit it yet but from the finish and build, this is one of the premium made product. Still, even in OPEN face angle spec, this driver (S model in X Line shaft) has a slightly close face angle (same as 435ii ). I'll be hitting it soon and will have some clip of me hitting this Driver. So far, very happy with the purchase.
  6. 435ii isn't so forgiving but it's definitely long. And it is draw bias even in square face angle spec.
  7. How does it compare to t388 (or XV) and the Maxima in term of distance and forgiveness?? I really love the aesthetic looks of this trpx shaft and head.
  8. Cool!! I'm getting mine in X line flex X and same S head as you. How is the build quality comparing to that of Crazy!? Head cover is good like ryoma's!?
  9. I'm gonna get the X-line but still waiting for the review on the shallow head ver VS the Deep face ver.
  10. so which is the farthest?? t388, Maxima or Crazy 450?!? If this TRPX has the forgiveness of the Maxima and super long distance like t388 , then it's the winner.
  11. I had trouble choosing the right FW too..most jdm FW are too upright (draw bias), closed face angle, light and most are in 15 degree ( too much for me). I've found a holy grail and it's Custom Kamui Ray. Built 2 degrees flat, 2 degrees open at 14 degree loft. Shaft with driver shaft Bangvoo 787, heavy built as a FW should be for stable flight. So you might consider this FW on your list too.
  12. please share how it compare to Maxima, t388(believe u have hit this). This seems to be a good head.

U might want to check out S-yard bold wedge too. I have all range of Yururi wedges, Seida, gekku, your and chilli. Yururi gives most spin ( especially in gekku) but the bold gives the most consistent spin. I can never get it out of my bag ever again.
  14. I usually go to Ueno for brands like Romaro, Ryoma, S-yard, On off. As for used club, I would go to golf kids (in Nagoya). In my line of work I get to travel to most cities in Japan. I have seen used crazy shaft at Golf kids but they come and go real fast. Kotobuki golf shop in Ueno carries Romaro, Ryoma and S-yards. Katana is famous in Thailand but seems not so in Japan. BTW, S-yard at Golfcraft ekamai is cheaper than the one they sold in Japan and probably Epon as well.
  15. Love the egg ute. Finally a time to replace 3+ and 4+.
  16. Happy birthday T!! Wish u all the best!!
  17. This is very strange. My Type V is dead square. The original D-1 seems closed but the Type is not. I hit it dead straight and no hook. I even have it measured at club fitting and it's exactly 9.5 with square face angle.
  18. that finish is similar to the Tour Wedge...if so, then it should have a very soft feel and durable too.
  19. I actually have a flt to Japan almost every month...how many days is required to visit GF?!? I normally have only a day in Japan so if it's enuf, then my next trip I'll join.
  20. Could this be due to poor skills pulling of the driver?? I pulled Black 46 3 times already on and off and now it's still good in t388. I don't think the Crazy shaft could be that fragile?!? To see a 725USD break like that is just painful.
  21. After owning the Bold wedge, I'm afraid nothing could be compare to the bold. How are these wedges match up against the Bold in terms of spin and versatility!?
  22. frist time I see the logo of "MetalFactory", it reminds me of Metal Gear Solid!!
  23. very nice finish...looks classy and expensive that I really don't want to dig this beauty into the sand.
  24. Great write up!! May I ask what shaft is in that XV FW?? I find that most FW shaft plays a tad too heavy to my liking. Stealth bomber is best accurate description for the S-yard woods. Not as explosive as other drivers but it will bring you where you never have been before...it's super long ( t388 shafted with CB46 ).
  25. I always wrote "read at your own discretion" before each review as a warning not to believe everything I write. What works for me might be bad for you. I also have CB 80 ls noir and I can't lift balls up in the air with that shaft. Crazy boron is perfect for me in terms of forgiveness (easy launch) and distance gain. There are other shafts like Bangvoo 787, Diamana X that may yield further distance but they are not as forgiveness as the boron. So still Type V in Boron is perfect (for me at least).
