Look forward to that! Is it staying in the head you fit hell or high water you will make it work...personally I wouldn't answer that, I would have utmost confidence that whatever head it goes in it would work better. Keep me posted, a intrigued to know the results.

Sweeeet Sweeeeet, They are Beautiful I went and joined a ping club with my ISIs, wasn't exactly the DB7 Sunday drivers club but it made me feel like my Irons were special. Yes man the Zen...oh the Zen...I noticed one in the BST when I first came here and thought dude??? then realised he probably had more than one, errrrrr TSG has been an eye opener and a wonderful curse (bad medicine so to speak)...laugh or cry non the less that beauty has been with me since day dot and will be with me till the day chickens grow teeth. Thats why I think this clubworks and your buddy Tom gave given us hope that what goes around surely comes around ;)

This is a great topic Mikey, That ISI is sick. I had a set of keepers until...I was introduced to JDM, that set of irons was ping ISI, I loved those things. Paint filled them several times to mach the grip set-up. On the brighter side my brother in law now has them so still get to look at them and wonder why??? Anyway he knows they will be coming back to me before any one else :) Over the moon that he feels the love though. Similar to Ian I think I will always have a V series Yamaha, without a doubt one of the best lines of drivers ever made. And over a period of time. If all have read as I sure they have, for me it is the Zen putter...it will be my cane head when I am living my life through my grand children's eyes ;) I think with technology changing all the time the "keeper" will be hard to obtain on performance alone. For me a "keeper" is more about the aesthetics and design, so having said that am sure all personal custom golds or other personalisation gear will be in that category. Off the shelf is another matter entirely. When we find that off the shelf "keeper" that is something very special like your ISI timber on a stick Mikey ;) What a nice piece of laminated, hand shaped piece of wood and twine...Hats of bro, that is a true keeper. I would game that in a heart beat, I reckon ping would re-shaft it twine and all.

Ok so had a few question Reluctantly will split but this is a great looking set and would be a shame after all the time spent getting them right. So on that basis will only split if buyer for both which is fair enough I think. Without wedge shafts...$1400 Heads only...$1200 as new Shafts and grips only...$400 inc wedge also all as new with plenty length to play with Split exact ship and insurance once receipt shown after ship. Cheers

Sold Thanks T & TSG

Cheers D, Bling ferrulles and grips do cost a bit more but boy are they worth it when done right. Elite grips are the best on the market IMO

Still have a few sets kicking around J ;) Got a nice set of rare T 591 protos I wouldn't mind getting some works plating on. That could be the next mission custom build...one for the future anyway.

Fairway Wood: EGG Spoon vs. Fourteen SF-612???
Hutch replied to Dakara's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
For me the top 4 #3FW to date are.. Ryoma F3 Egg spoon (original) S yard XV Crazy Crz In that order I would say, have all four and it is very hard to choose between them. Egg is the most versatile F3 the easiest Crazy best feel S yard most accurate and bullet like trajectory. Alot comes down to the shaft choice also, for example I have tried a few good shafts in the F3 but crazy shafts just work in that head. Jbeam Glorious has sparked my attention for sure. -
The 70 would flat out scare the bajesus out of me...allyoop

Ok so here we go Chaps. Have been toying with this for a while, should I use them or sell them before any use on a track. Even stuck them in the bag whilst not playing for a while to see if I was tempted....But decision made! Game my SUS and love them amongst a few others ;) These are new with only net use, not a mark on them, not even ball marks. Maybe a few very faint brush marks on the sole of the seven and Nine but you would be splitting hairs if you could see any without very close inspection. 4I never used and most other probably hit a couple of balls. So what I am saying is they are pretty much new and what you would walk away with after picking them up from the fitter and using them in the net before you leave. Ferrules reamed but not acetoned so they look matte to match the shafts and heads. 4I will be fitted the same before ship if required. I cant say and the pics don't give Justice to how nice this build is. Epon 503 Satin 4-PW Fujikura MCI 100s 38.5 5 Iron SW D1-D2.5 Nice ferrules Elite athlete Grips Mid size Black 2 X Wedge MCI 100s 2 X Elite athlete Mid Size Mint 2 X Spare Ferrules Silver but caps with adjustable SW This set took some time to build and get right. The attention to detail in this build was a labour of love but worth it as you can see. Probably the best looking set I have built to date. Would cost well over 2k to have built easy. Shafts, grips and ferrules alone over $800 worth. looking for...$1500 for the whole set as new! Buyer will be overthemoon with this set ;) Couple nice wedge heads and you are set! Fill your boots...! Thanks for looking.

They both look good IMO, I have always been an admire of both but on sheer looks alone, that's all I can judge by at the moment...For me it has to be the Flatbacks. From what I hear from you fellas it seems in the "playability" department the flatbacks get the thumbs up. I dont think you can get anymore JDM than those bad boys. As Ian pointed out with the right ferrules, shafts and grips they would look Sick. Wonder how the MCI would work in them, I think those shafts with un acetoned woven sliver ferrules, black elite grips with silver shiny but caps slightly sanded with fine wet and dry to a brushed silver would look sweeeeeeeet
