M, yes. I actually think they feel a little better, but I tend to like feedback. They knock off a lot of spin as compared to the regular tour.

A great alternative is KBS Tour-V. I couldn't get along with the C-Tapers because of spin issues. The Tour-V's are light weight and really took the spin off. Is your s400 Tour Issue? It's surprising you hitting that shaft high and spinny. I played that shaft for years. Very stout and low launching.

It stayed in the bag and the 535 is hitting the road. I really dig the Modart. Feel, finish, extraordinarily well made. Might go for a long run like your crazy 450...

Went with the XDB in the 535 head (10*) and absolutely love it. Like driverhead commented, it is long. I was very surprised at the consistency. Several times I loaded up a couple of balls and on 3 occasions, the balls were within 10 feet of each other. Not 10 yards, 10 feet. Shaft kicks great for me. I'd had some issues with low-mid kick JDM shafts, but this is much better.

I would agree. The 535 is now my gamer. I love the feel, sound, look of the Modart MA01D. But the 535 shafted with the Muso, left skid marks on the Modart shafted with Quadra Proto and later Quadra TP-V.

I've got to chime in with the rest. I tried the Ryoma and the S-Yard, Yamaha, Onoff TS358 and others, but the egg HD wore them out.

I ultimately went for something a bit more forgiving, but chiromikey helped me get my 435 rig set up and I hit a couple of balls that I honestly still can't believe how far they went. I honestly truly believe that the ball got caught in the jet stream, hit a sprinkler head and landed on a squirrel's back.

It's limited. There seem to be a few guys here and there and in the OC. This site is outstanding and you the golfers here are amazing when it comes to help.
