  1. I really like the look of these irons. I have my heart set on a set of T-MBs at some point, but these look kinda sexy. I wonder if they will be reasonably easy to hit as well....
  2. I'm absolutely loving my Waccine GR-77 (85 gms) stiff shafts in my 303s. Good length and tight dispersion with a far better feel than the Recoil 680 F4 that I used to play. However, I do want to play the 105s very much too.....

Would it work well with other shafts too you think? ......They seem to be pushing the shaft in particular with it.
  4. Will take the shaft if someone wants the head.......PM me if interested.
  5. Good point. It is the 170 kpa version (for swing speeds in excess of 90 MPH), I am pretty sure and confirmed by the previous seller. My swing speed is a tad over 100 MPH and it worked perfectly. Thanks.
  6. Sorry about the slight confusion. Yes, it is head only. Thanks for considering.
  7. Yes, definitely long and easy carry......someone should try it.
  8. Had the head pulled at my club-fitters this morning. Head weight is 199 gms and the face looks square to us. The previous seller to me has also confirmed that the club came originally from TSG. Thanks.
  9. Priced to sell and offers considered..... 10* head in really good condition (8/10) with faint use marks on sole. Weight 199 gms. Non-conforming 170 kpa version for swing speeds in excess of 90 MPH. SOLD plus shipping. PayPal gifted please. Thank you. Will entertain part trades for ZY-11 head, T-MB and other interesting items.
  10. Stunning hitting! Wish I could get a driver flight like that. It must be in the technique rather than all in the club. My flight is twice as high and lands far too softly, regardless of which driver I play.....
  11. Would love some nice grips if they are lying around for my new iron build. Can be shipped easily to me in an envelope.Drop me a PM for anything available. Thanks.
  12. I think it clearly says so on the side. I just Googgled images of the head.

Hello. I was getting my driver built a couple of days ago and the fitter went through the process of finding the spine by clamping the butt end on a frequency reader machine and twanging it till it flat line oscillated. My question is, will the FLO direction be the same whether the spine (in this case one) is located on the front or back (i.e. 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock)? But the idea of this is to have the spine facing the direction of play, like a branch pulled back. So should I be finding the frequency of both opposite orientations and pick the one with the higher CPM? Would it be correct to conversely assume that if I have determined the orientation that it near-enough FLOs but have the spine on the back it would be the weakest configuration? I don't have a bearing-based spine finder so assume the frequency (and Floing ) would be the best way to go about this? Thanks for your help.
  14. Very beautiful ! Loving those shafts......time for a garage sale ?? :)))
  15. OK. So I built it with the Ahina 60S and it turned out at D5. The length was 46 inches once completed. I tried to play it today and I would say the results were variable. The only way to get it to perform was to tee it high and launch it, which resulted in fairly good distance but no roll at all. I think perhaps if I got the swingweight down I may get a little more distance, although I think I am not going to get it to launch lower and roll out. BTW the head is a Kamui Air KM-200. I have two options, cut the club down 1/2 an inch and get 3 swingweights; or butt weight it (in effect counter balance the 60 gms shaft). Any difference if I choose either - any recommendations please? I am looking to make this my distance driver build. Thanks!
  16. Thank you. Are you able to comfortably swing with a D8 SW please? Does the whole club feel very heavy due to the SW (although I do understand that total weight may be relatively light) or does it help you feel/control the clubhead at that length? Perhaps I should try it as and then the penultimate option may be to cut the club 0.5 inches and play it at a D5 and the last maybe to further add 10-15 gms to the butt and get it to D2 ish.....
  17. I bought a shaft that is 46.5 inches long raw. It is 55 gms. I have a head that I would like to put on it and play it as a long driver at 46.5 inches just for a lark..... The swing weight with a Golf Pride multi-compound grip works out to D8 with this set up, perhaps as the shaft is so light. I have never swung a club with that SW and wondered how different it feels to a D1.5 which I quite like. There are very few choices here when it comes to grips, so that can be taken out of the equation. Therefore the choices are to cut the length down at the butt by 0.5 inch (I definitely don't want to go shorter) or/and add some butt weight. How much will the SW change if I cut the club down half an inch please? Also will adding some butt weight change the playing characteristics of the shaft? How much weight will I have to add to get it down to D2 after cutting it down.....or perhaps even D4 if that is considered OK to play? I just don't know how to build this club..... It has an infinity flex so cannot tip trim it in any way.
  18. Sold. Thank you TSG and R.
  19. Bought this JBeam 535 as head only from a very respected member on the forum a few months ago. Have not shafted it as I have now enough drivers to try. 10 degrees, square face, 197 gms, faint marks on face only otherwise is very good condition. Priced to sell - no trades. Thank you. $320 including shipping anywhere in the world. PP gifted please.
  20. Stew, funny you mention the snap draws with the Ryoma. I am desperately facing this problem with my 24*. I also have an aggressive hard swing and out of desperation put a 290 cpm tipped driver shaft into it a few days ago. Now I get lowish bombs that just will not stop. Not sure what the answer is - perhaps some other club? But to offer my choice on a great 3 wood which is deadly accurate and long long long - the Baldo 13.5 Brassy. I just got it off a forum member with a Roddio shaft and it works well for me. I mainly use it off the tee and then use an 18.5 degrees for long par 5 fairway shots. Would it be dreadfully wrong and blasphemous to reccommend the Ping FWs? :))
