Thoughts on draw biased drivers... Is "Anti-Left" really the solution for amateur players?
an extreme draw-biased driver is the latest Yamaha UD+2

Japanese Driver?
There are some very interesting new drivers appearing in the shop - Romaro Ray and Super Egg (PRGR) and hoping we get some helpful information and/or reviews on these. Not enough info up at the moment - just the usual nonsensical Japanese to English translation.

Axis1 Rose or Directed Force putter.. anyone try one yet?
I tried the original Axis putters and they did frame the ball better than any putter I had seen - but ended up preferring a Scotty Cameron mallet. This newer shape, which Justin Rose has been using, does look better than the originals and I'll be giving it a try.

I found something and I would like your opinion ?
add it to the 97 other game-improvement training aids you probably have, or wished you had, and then after 6 months find some space in your garage

Nob's WITB 2019 Summer Edition
trying new clubs does eventually wear you down - I'm playing irons I really like and will force myself to continue enjoying them instead of the constant changing - and at $500 USD per iron, I'm entitled to stick with them.

new ONOFF drivers
Some interesting ONOFF driver offerings just appearing in the NEW ITEMS list here on the website, but the auto translation is terrible and you need a team of multi-lingual lawyers to work out what they are bragging about.

- Japan Golf Fair 2019
we need to send auto next year and get all the photos and lowdown- Onoff Kuro 2019
my friend bought them and was not impressed - claimed they were very hard to work a bit too clunky-looking. Ryoma seems to make gear that people either love or dislike. I've tried their drivers and didn't keep them in the bag very long even though the feel was good. But golf equipment in general is a very personal thing and the only true guide is to try yourself.- Onoff Kuro 2019
if they were a US product we'd have 99 different listings on the internet - but you really need to be in Japan to get the lowdown on the 'good stuff'- Japan Golf Fair 2019
the website claimed over 200 exhibitors- Mizuno ST190G impression.
what about the new drivers unveiled at the Golf Fair ? Any of those interest you ?- maruman
just found it on the new items list here at TSG and this explains everything.....I'm so much the wiser! Driver - "Parallel-Impact Face" which flies in a plane instead of a point. Carbon crown body full of gentle elements.- Japan Golf Fair 2019
Did I miss anything or is the coverage concluded ?- maruman
Anyone have information on this just-released range from Maruman ?- Japan Golf Fair 2019
Same question from me. When we have the PGA golf show here in the States you get great coverage on TV and on the internet and it's very extensive - makes it easy to compile a list of things to try. I assume there is plenty of coverage in Japan - but that's not much help to us who live overseas and don't speak or read Japanese. Of course TSG is bringing us coverage and maybe there's enough still to come to satisfy our curiosity.- Japan Golf Fair 2019
Read the first 2 days' coverage of the Golf Fair and feeling underwhelmed thus far. The James Patrick gear has been the most interesting to my mind - the rest is stuff we knew about or could survive without ever knowing about. Sure hope there are some gems still to be uncovered in the ongoing coverage.- Japan Golf Fair 2019
Hoping to see lots of photos and information here from this weekend's show.- Japanese Driver?
there are some swings that just cannot be forgiven- Japanese Driver?
I like the XXIO Ten and if I ever yell at it - always FORGIVES me.- Tour AD shafts
Ryoma use an AD in many of their products and I've always found them to be top quality. We also see many pros using the familiar banded shafts in their 'woods'. There are a lot of high quality options out there, but the problem is you really need to test and get fitted for the premium outcome and this is not easily done if you are interested in some of the topline JDM shafts - and you live overseas. I've bought a lot of them sight-unseen and had some very mixed results - I must stop doing that. I would recommend the Graphite Design Tour AD's in general - but try before you buy.- new LOOP shaft
Here we go - as explained in the shop. Enjoy. Introducing Loop Prototype LX Shaft which Maximizes impact energy and introduces a luxury shaft that draws high-quality Trajectory. The speed of the initial speed, the strength of the sense of play has stood out as a feature, and a 60g high-half shaft with a new feeling is born to the existing LOOP shaft so far! Guide, hold the ball firmly in the impact, the movement after the impact unleash the ball linearly with the true feeling "strong push" of the LOOP shaft. High-elasticity HYBRID pre-preg combining pitch and bread materials is adopted for the first time, and it has been finished in the top-class performance that brings flight distance and FW keep rate up while improving the meet rate. After reading that - you just have to get one!- High End Putter Shafts - Which Is Everyone's Preference (Diamana PT; Dogatti; Teramoto, etc.)

I wish there was more I could tell you, but my rough translation indicates they are offering some 'trial clubs' of this new driver. Hopefully Maruman unveil some new gear at the Golf Fair and we get a lot more information about it. If you haven't tried their equipment, you should. - Japan Golf Fair 2019
