  1. The blind swordsman strikes again... So what's new for Ryoma in 2015? The Beyond Power Driver, actually shaft and it's pretty wild, first thing to note is it's infinity flex, what's that you say? It's a shaft that works for which works for any golfer between 67mph to 111mph!! It's supposed to increase club head speed on average 2.7mph and combined with the non conforming special tune head it's a 20% increase in distance over a normal driver. Now we have members who didn't care for the Maxima but we have far many more clients who love it and they still sell frequently. Also new in 2015 is 3 new lofts in the UT, 2U/18, 6U/30, and 7U/34*
  2. Hey Jeffrey, Email me [email protected] we will help you out!
  3. That circle T putter is actually for a customer who removed the weights from his scotty circle T and requested GF make a putter that had only circle T on it so those are only scotty weights not the actual putter. I really loved that look but man those T weights are ala carte pricey.
  4. So while he did tell me this the truth is the two are technically not the same due to the changes, I had to poke to find out how it was different but after I would say "so it is a different material" or "so it's a little bigger" he would say "yes but looks the same right?". The consumer want's new and different while the designer is proud of his original work. Here is the face, looks like the D shape.
  5. I haven't hit it yet, we are working together on new aesthetics and designs that would appeal to TSGers first then we wait 3 months for the samples to shoot. We are also slightly tweaking specs on a couple of the models. So in time we will know more but still 7D is on another level.
  6. The bubble does nothing it's purely aesthetic and runs down the entire shaft like the look of natural bamboo.
  7. Been a while since I posted a GF update...
  8. TourSpecGolfer posted a post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
So while it looks similar (consider this an evolution) there are some major changes all around starting with the head size, the new "DS" is 5 cc's bigger at 440cc, Modart also changed the face material to Japan SP700 for a slightly softer forged cup face feel at impact while at the same time shifting the center of gravity more forward not only making it more workable but also reducing spin. It's finished in a lovely matte black finish.
  9. Yes that must be it! No word on specs or release yet.
  10. Yes they look very cool but don't perform or feel very well. Originally they were adjustable part drivers used for fitting and they kept that concept alive which I like but when I hit one and this isn't only my opinion it feels like it's more than 1 piece or there's something not sealed which could mean lost energy where as a Monocoque head or a driver that is made completely sealed has a more pure vibration/feel/sound to it if that makes sense. It all looks really good but even in Japan it's not considered a top performer.
  11. I love the S-013D by TRPX it is similar to the 535 imo in spin and launch. Low Spin / Mid Launch for this guy imo. ZY-11 with an 8-8.5* loft would be another way he can have low spin/mid launch while in a head that's more forgiving than the 435 Black.
  12. That would be like taking racing lessons over buying fast cars while both are fun they both satisfy a different sensation. I take 2 lessons a week since January and those 30 lessons (4 of them are on course) cost me less than 2 JDM drivers. That said lessons in course management and risk reward could possibly go just as far in lowering the score but again buying gear and working on the swing are scratching two totally different itches for me.
  13. I think this is a testament to how much people like it.. we have sold many of these and they are not showing up in the B/S/T at all.
  14. Not for me but it's something different...
  15. Lots of secrets with this brand but yes this 16 year old plays it at 283cpms. So here's the deal which is commonly known, 80T is boardy, fragile and heavy. It just doesn't feel good unless you over power the flex so this brand has basically figured out a way to combine 80 + 50T and make the shaft feel flexible yet it's very stable. We can get these now guys they are made to order fully custom graphics but what TSG is working on with them exclusive for our customers is going to be the look you want.
  16. When I hear price is not an issue I usually recommend Seven Dreamers as the fitting process nails it and takes the guess work out of it.
  17. TSG Clubworks is announcing 10 different types of irons soon!
  18. I still think the 435 Black out with a 9.5 loft is your best bet, 0.5* open because the paint to some eyes makes it appear closed at it's rounded point. 535 is mid spin/mid launch by going up in loft with the 435 black out you will have low spin/mid launch. RLL went 11* on the black out and is killing it so I can't imagine what a 7D distance option will do for him.
  19. I was turned on to these by a 16 year old Japanese golf prodigy.
  20. In Japan some pro's play these types of irons. that's correct It's subtle very difference if you have the F I don't think there is a need to upgrade to the G.
  21. Yes we will, but TSG is expanding on the custom options. It also takes 3 months. will post up soon.
  22. California has 53 more hp than this thing also it's a turbo now :( I've been in a couple wrecks myself and have a fear of speed so when I go shopping for a car I go exterior first, interior second then sound and build of motor 3rd, track time, 0-60 it's all for nothing if you don't drive on the track. Exotics are a pain imo, people standing around your car when you come out of the store, d**ks on the road cut you off, can't trust valet, parking is a pain and 2500 mile per year leases are no fun either.
  23. Ah Here's a glamor shot for you guys I still like Satin Best.
  24. No it's not by TSG. This brand makes their own shafts in house. I don't think anyone has ever heard of the brand before, so it's a tuff one. I'm waiting for Supo to see if he knows...
