  1. This town is special for me, Wifey and I got engaged in Paris and our baby coming was conceived in Paris, They know the good stuff like Japan does. I'm a partner in an online startup venture that will be exporting the highest quality ingredients directly from the Rungis market each morning to the customer overnight, exciting times See that picture of the chicken? those are the best chickens in the world easy. 70 bucks per bird but cook it with minimal seasoning and enjoy with just a glass of room temperature water for palate sensitivity and it is absolutely sublime! I used to think how hard is it to cook a bird? harder than a steak that's for sure. I'm glad you guys are enjoying the pictures, this is not now btw, its mostly from the 2013.
  2. I think you will like this one more because it's for "all of the serious player" and with model names like YO and GanGa how can you not ;)
  3. And it's no longer made at Endo... www.bs-sports.co.jp/press/2014/g0714_bsg_dr/g0714_bsg_dr.pdf www.bs-sports.co.jp/press/2014/g0714_bsg_iron/g0714_bsg_iron.pdf www.bs-sports.co.jp/press/2014/g0714_bsg_fwut/g0714_bsg_fwut.pdf www.bs-sports.co.jp/press/2014/g0714_bsg_wedge/g0714_bsg_wedge.pdf www.bs-sports.co.jp/press/2014/g0714_bsg_ladies/g0714_bsg_ladies.pdf
  4. Will TourStage and Bridgestone become one? Looks to be the case and it explains why TourStage has let go many of their JPGA tour players. It also explains why they were missing at the Japan Golf Show for the first time since its inception.
  5. It all started with Gauge Design Japan, former employee creates the offshoot Gauge Design USA, another former employee creates Gold's Factory, then another former employee creates RomaRo. George Takei then started G-Field Golf which went under, then George Spirits, and now (not owned by him at all) GTD = George Takei Designs btw George Spirits still lives on. GT is strictly the designer for this brand and it's obvious, in March i sat down with their owner and GT in Tokyo to provide feedback on the designs... much work was needed. The versions advertised on TSG are somewhat influenced by us. Much of the product was already made, all we could do was exclude certain text and change the finish. I'll be updating this thread over the next few weeks as I shoot the samples. Starting with this putter, the: YO ( I didn't name it :)
  6. I'm not sure of the head weight, I would assume light around 190-192ish grams.
  7. Just testing you..lol scratch that part and pardon my error. Yes totally agree it needs a paint job! Kobayashi-san told me the lines promote a draw, I can see that sorta but not sure how much it works in the real.
  8. Didn't really look much into this club but after receiving it miss Kobayashi-san's designs even more. It's a more forgiving type that is only available in a single loft of 10.5 and aims to improve the drives of the mid cap player, based on its setup and face size I don't consider this a higher handicap design. It's got a lot a going for it: - looks compact for a 460 - face angle is not overly closed - the face and head shape is somewhat 388 like - the feel is somewhat 388 like - its very long and feels really nice - has that stable lowish spin flight like the 388 Not the prettiest but I can highly suggest this club after a couple of rounds with it and if you can get past it's funky appearance and don't mind a slightly closed face it can be built for even low handicap players. I enjoyed my time with it so much It's getting a re shaft.
  9. Photos from one of my favorite cities, the only one that I have found to rival Japanese ingredients and cuisine.
  10. Thanks for this, I see this often in Japanese players, sometimes even a pause at the top, a jerk then down swing. Not the prettiest but it works!

To most it was the best driver Crazy has ever released. It's their best selling model.
  12. The 100k + shaft is wall art and not for use, it's a one off metal mold and a type of carbon only used in satellites.
  13. It's a "light tik" if that makes any sense, doesn't feel hard to me it's aluminum has great feel just different sensation. I think a heavy headed version of the P3 would be awesome, Craigs the only guy I know with one.
  14. It's gonna be a few more days Labo is building it now. Unfortunately I can't really compare the two, I've hit the Hashiri very well in the TS358 before swapping it out for a FW80 by Crazy. It's a perfect match for that 3 wood, I actually hit it with a better trajectory than the FW80, The Modart SP6 I don't know enough about, I had Crazy UT's installed before they were sold out. I think for the UT the shaft really makes it shine because I hit these modart UT's so accurate and clean but I also did in the RomaRo Type-R with the Crazy UT and that's why I think shaft has been a big part of all my UT's performance. The Ryoma UT is hands down the best UT talking strictly performance, it just really long but i didn't need that much distance for my open gap in yardage. That's another thing, think about where your gaps are before buying fairway clubs because you may need something hot and long or something not as long.
  15. We are offering these soon to the forum members. The process is unique: http://golf.sevendreamers.com/ Matrix Design Series - $1200 There are 54 types of shafts in this series. To give you an idea of how it works: Step 1: email [email protected] requesting more info Step 2: TSG gives you a call to go over 16 questions Step 3: We submit the info to SD in Japan Step 4: SD responds with 3 shaft proposals from the 54 in the Matrix Series, Distance/Control/Blend of Both Step 5: SD builds your combo and we ship it to you FYI these are not normal shafts, I will be going into it deeper in a blog post soon but with other shaft brands after it is rolled they wrap it in shrinkage tape and apply big pressure to round the shaft, then they cure it in a oven under atmospheric pressure, then they grind and polish to remove the shrinkage tape but also to further round specification, then they paint the shaft which applies weight to the carbon. SD - They actually use a metal mold, your shaft is perfectly round, no question. They use a giant autoclave for curing, there is no grinding or polish to make round, there is no paint to add unnecessary weight. It's not just about having the most round shaft but also the design principle of the shaft, SD has a mathematical approach combined with human touch.
  16. If you like the 302's your gonna seriously like all 3 of FG's irons
  17. TS358 and F358 are some of the best! Stock at Labo is dwindling same goes with the CB358. We can custom order the Labo Spec clubs from the factory with RODDIO. That said Modart is in my bag because it's easy to hit straight and easy to get off the ground, I used to lose balls 1-2 times per round on long FW shots pulling or fading a bit too much, that's pretty much been eliminated using the MA01F, It's not the best off the tee though.

Best "Chicks" bag i've ever seen!
  19. Looks super easy to hit let's not forget a standard length of 47.75"! I'm going to try this for sure in M-43 spec shaft D1.5 9.5 loft It's easy and fun to tease PRGR's sometimes awkward designs but based on performance and pushing the envelope they are arguably the best. The Egg1 driver is so nice to play.
  20. These sold pretty quickly, I think we have 1 set left. I'm asking SYD for more. They are 250 + Shipping each.
  21. Newest is the ATTAS iron shafts and they are available in many weight options. Quadra is another worth considering. MCI is one of the most popular in Japan at the moment. Roddio, hard to get as shaft only but you can send heads to us and we can have them Installed for you.
  22. Got only 3 sets of 52/58 with S200 Tour Issue, enjoy the pics:
  23. The head weight was a bit light, heres to increasing it and making a HIGH MOI even higher!
