Muso is awesome, I only hit one of the shafts and they were out of spec for me but it went really well especially for the price. It's legit and a brand made by Geotech, also ranked very high in the 2014 shaft bible.

Geotech Quelot RE14 a-spec LTD.
TourSpecGolfer replied to 73montecarlo's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Well for a face this thin I would say no more than 100mph. I'm sure it can handle more and in many cases not crack at all but better safe than sorry imo. Worth noting is the parent co of Geotech is one of the biggest golf manufactures in the world. That said they don't exclusively use that manufacturer as they have a wide range of products from many makers, the quality of their core product line especially Titanium woods is as good as many of the popular name brands but at a lower price. -

New Brand: Believer Golf Clubs Now Available @ TSG
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
This Believer iron has a unique attribute that makes it easier to hit, They cut the iron heads in half, add a heavier material within then weld it together before the finishing and grooves are pressed. -

Yes way too busy but don't forget our influence on these sorts of things, Epon was was also once busy with "Epon Technity Type-X Forged by Endo Product" until we created the current logo concept and model names, same with Buchi until the global models were created. Some brands we have no disclosure agreement with, others if you look closely you may be able figure it out :) -
Thank you for making such a proper listing, pics are great! GLWS!

We are working on a sticky for the ultimate guide to JDM golf Tokyo Edition. If you do a search in the forum you will also be able to find some info as this is a popular question. That said if you see something you like in Japan we can beat any price at any shop on new gear provided its delivered to a hotel and or to a foreigner on travel.

Geotech Quelot RE14 a-spec LTD.
TourSpecGolfer replied to 73montecarlo's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Its coming July 10th, Looks outstanding, it's like the RE14 Alpha but the limited edition version has a cool new finish and a thinner face which they QA tested using a special microscope. Not suggested for faster swingers as the face may break but other than that it looks pretty sweet. -
This week I will be highlighting a new brand here at TSG known as Believer which is produced by a small family factory in Himeji Japan called Fujimoto Gikoh. The brand has a pretty gothic look to the designs, heavy on the stamping characters but we are working with them on this. The 3 main things that strike me most about all of their irons is first the forgiveness they are all more forgiving than they appear, second is the setup even the bigger irons had thin top lines and just the right amount of offset and lastly feel, this S25C feels different is it the design or the metal? I think both. So today we are starting with their Neo-Blade Design, it has the setup of a larger sized blade or a compact players cavity yet it packs in the feel of a pure MB. More info to come, I have only hit these demo irons to decide if we should carry these on TSG, after hitting them it's an easy yes. Enjoy the pics and more to come tomorrow...

How do you like your Labo Spec ONOFF CB358 so far?
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Ah the modus3, great feel and smooth for steel but sometimes the ball can get away from you especially in wind. I'm re ordering my CB358 with KBS C-Tapers, I know they may not feel as good but it's windy on my home track blowing 30mph today. I've had a set with Roddio i9's and on a non windy day I could swing smooth and get tight tight results, good on my back and joints but in wind, man, my score couldn't take it anymore. We have Shingo to thank for that, ya know just throwing this out there I could have these irons stripped and the top lines rounded then refinished in whatever you want. expensive and time consuming but unique. We would have to weight the hosel a bit due to the lost weight. -

Many are ordering the #4 iron from the 2013 onoff forged to solve this. -
Hutchy's Custom Gold's Putter
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Insert time, originally we had planned for that octogonish rectangular insert but it was too large for such a small face so Master Sasaya suggested the oval insert. -

Next step is drilling holes for the weights. -
Anyone notice site was down for 30 minutes yesterday with a maintenance page? We were already using best practices and a brand new dedicated server after the site redesign in Feb, but we decided to kick it up a notch using multiple dedicated servers and enhanced managed security. You should notice all sites are significantly faster now and by the end of next week we should double our speeds in Asia from where they are at now. Enjoy the speed...:)

Anyone have feedback on Tourstage 909 Driver
TourSpecGolfer replied to languidcrane's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
This man knows his classic TourStage. -
Just wanted to clarify that these are the Japan Editions not the Global Editions TSG worked on. The stamping, grind, offset, top line is different but still performs spectacularly none the less.
