  1. Black KB Tours sure would look purdy with a set of custom black AF301's
  2. Guy's we are down to our last 3 sets of the Limited Edition Tourstage 901 MB Iron. We are also down to our last 2 Tourstage Limited wedge sets. For those of you who do not know both items are limited and sold out at the OEM. The Tourstage wedge set is pretty much the replacement to the Maru Spec's.
  3. I was able to try the KB tour shaft on multiple occasions but I have not hit nor seen the black version. Anyone here know the difference or test it out?
  4. Then I suggest the Wales edition.
  5. No sir, conditions vary in the USA as they do in Japan, both countries have their hard and soft pan areas. The 5003's work very well in both Hawaii & Las Vegas.

There are other brands I would guide you to before purchasing RomaRo over stuff from say Miura, Tourstage, George Spirits, Epon, and others. The product looks modern and edgy but their current line up is pretty much the same as we saw in Feburary 2 years ago and thats not a good sign. When looking down at the irons the shape of the head just does not sit well. If you need a suggestion just drop me a PM and I would be happy to help.
  7. We have the Golf Specialist currently testing a set with some KB's installed. I have hit the Cb 2006 + KB combo before lending them out and they are awesome. An actual improvement over past Miura models. Reminds me of the Epon AF501 but better feeling.
  8. Sasaya carries several types of heads some milled from a solid block the others half milled from the factory. It depends on the model but they are all his designs. He outsources the forgings on pre grinds, he is a custom club crafter not a steel foundry. Wedge blanks are very rarely forged by the manufacture. So many brands use the same forged blanks but the most vital part of the wedges production is if a master crafter himself like Sasaya or Tomaru build it from start to finish. The process is different from what you would see with other supposed custom wedge crafters, one is more assembly line through various stages of production touching many hands, while the other is literally done from sketch to engraving tool creation to design, grinding, finishing, & paint fill by a true Master. With Sasaya It's part CNC & part Hand Grind even his finish is applied by hand. Due to the way they are hand made I can't put them on the same level as even other top brands.
  9. It is the GT series wedge that is currently available. They welded a piece of metal to a wedge blank then ground to smooth out. Over 10,000 pcs produced and it is their cheapest wedge in the series. If you need it, just PM me but quite honestly its a performance tragedy.

The Bag tag comes with a chain to attach to your bag. Custom engrave your name on the other side of the plate at an additional charge. EPlease note in the comments section on checkout what name you want engraved and whether you want it in a straight line or dancing font. Engraving can only be done using the English alphabet and up to a max of 15 characters.
  11. I hear the Grind Studio version starts as the same head but 30 grams over and then Master Tomaru himself grinds, stamps, & finishes them himself!
  12. It's not all that bad, can't be worse than " precious edition " can it? The customers who have purchased these are extremely happy with the performance. Some compare it to the Epon AF501 iron but softer and I agree with that statement. IMO Miura's last 2 releases have been true performers the MB5003 and now the CB2006 both are an improvement over previous designs.

Japanese Chouji Oil (Clove Oil) was used to protect Japanese swords from dirt, sweat, blood and other contaminents that created the formation of rust. Sword Oil as it was called was used to keep the shine and lustre on swords by bonding to the metal and keeping them looking like new. Gold's Factory now brings you Sword Oil for your clubs. After brushing off dirt and moisture thoroughly. Spray the oil directly on the club head and allow it to cover and soak the entire head. Please wipe off extra oil with a dry soft cloth. It prevents rust, bonding to the finish sorta like a protective coating. It is also not harsh to fragile finishes and helps keep your clubs looking pretty. I use it on expensive putters and expensive wedges.
  17. The only area that will wear is spot's that make contact with turf or ball. The rest of the club stay's black. Most platings reflect the sun into the eye's and many players don't like that, especially pro's. I prefer Black wedges vs Plated. I like the feel, look, and wear.

Epon now offers KB Tour Shafts!
  19. Yes, they will suggest their accounts. I will say that you need not dig anymore because the reason given in my post above is the actual reason and Miura will say the same. Yes you will have to have it bored a bit bigger, and no it isnt enough to change weight much but overall the product is very good and the CB 2006 you have is one damn sexy iron.
  20. IMO the rust excuse isn't very valid but it is an effective tool to make sure those who are doing the assembly have their act together to some extent. The reason why Miura has very tight tolerance is because the hosel is a separate piece from the head itself aka spin welded. The clubmaker dispite the tolerance should check the swing weight and adjust to the customers request using methods like tip weights, tungsten powder, or lead tape.
  21. Looks like an Excellent set of irons in person, we are going to have a set shafted up for Testing & Reviews with TheGolfSpecialist.
  22. This Morning I took measurements of 15 brand new sets of the new CB-2006 irons and 100% of them are exactly as you mentioned. They do this because they want only credible club makers to assemble the product meaning that they need to do a slight bore on the hosel pre shaft install. Another reason is Miura claims that they do this to prevent rust in the hosel area from forming.

We will have it in the proshop by the end of the weekend sir.
  24. It's common knowledge that any finish that is not a plating will wear and reveal carbon steal. Pro golfers actually prefer this to wedges with chrome or satin plating while the average consumer is usually put off by it.

    Late Nov for sure!
