What do you guys think of Vintage Copper?

I hope more people learn how awesome these FW's are. They are my best recommendation for someone who needs a forgiving and hot shallow face fairway wood that has a nice smaller shape at address.

Glorious is a little draw bias, more forgiving, more shallow, higher launching with a touch more spin. I think a blackout glorious would be awesome!

There isn't anything but he is writing a book now ( in Japanese ) Basically there is a camera, software, a gazillion putters and a very well trained fitter. I would request Okuda-san himself for TSG'ers. Your basically testing every face angle, toe hang, lie, weight even 1g increments, lofts, etc... etc.. analyze the stroke. I really don't know what the methodology is because both my fittings were done in Japanese. I'm asking them to do a write up that we can translate.

Compared to the ZY-7 it's easier to hit and higher launching. You don't need to go up in loft for this one. Compared to the original 535 it is balanced neutral, lower spin, a few cc's larger, further back and deeper CG by a hair.

Yes Slot is required with the shorter neck to get the balance right. I had no choice it was the only way after the fitting for them to get the CG + weighting where I needed it. Thats the cool thing about his fittings they tell you straight out no you shouldn't play a particular putter and it's the one you think you play the best. They prove it to you then leave you the final say on what you want. in this case I shouldn't be playing my anser benock but my eye couldn't resist. This mallet is the one for me.

Only 9.5V is lagging and this friday that should change. All others are now shipping quickly.

I think that was the perfect way to sum it up the Tesla. thinking to change up both cars in the garage to: new version toyota land cruiser + new panny 4S or E-Hybrid version.

Will have to let other members chime in on performance for a better review as I have limited time with it. I did hit the prototype on the range about 4 months ago. Soft, low spin, straight, nice boring trajectory. Shape stands out as very nice at address. This is just a dummy shaft, some stockie I think from PRGR years old. This is not an assembled club used for pics.

Some love the look, others dislike it but I'm on the side of like. Customer feedback is very good, soft feel that's very hot off the face with low spin using a DAT55 face. Enjoy the pics:

DAT55G is imo the best material for non conforming. SP700 best for conforming. my 2 cents.

Just an FYI, I have not asked the owner of CGS yet. I could be wrong. Tabuchi-san is my second guess. Shinagawa-san is my first guess. Actually guys on a side note, Miyoshi-san is not a grinder and surprisingly after Toyoshima-san left Crazy I found out who was making his wedges for him. Sakamoto-san ( not of Kyoei ) who also makes SDJ. oh yea and the new upcoming Sevens :)

It's totally unfair if not used in a social setting. It's also fun jabbing when you are longer than your playing partners. Then they hit you back with your using a cheaters club. great banter! I love people who talk crap during a round! it also helps the older gents keep up with the studs.

No on both those but what I suggest looking at is the sole grind, face shape and especially the look at address.....stew?
