  1. Size wise the TF vs Glorious they are almost the same but the TF hides it a touch better, volume in cc's are just about equal. Shape is better on the TF, Glorious is designed for the higher handicap while TF fits a big range of player, TF feels a bit more stable and goes longer as well. TF has a slightly higher pitch tone to it, Glorious is stainless. Both have a similar trajectory mid/high but shaft will be the main factor in that.
  2. ya this Baldo FW Head is more for the better player, not saying your not that just saying if you struggle with FW's there may be better but I have hit this Baldo it's explosive, feels spongy and very long. The Jbeam TF is better off the turf, easier, and in 17.5 even easier. ball flight is about the same, much depends on the shaft. Crazy Full Titan is great too. both Jbeam and Crazy have a more shallow face and cleaner designer to make smooth contact with ground, feel is great on both, Love the Ryoma but it's a bit deeper, requires a little better contact for as good a result.
  3. I can share more next march sir. We are working closely with them now.
  4. Im a fool, i missed top pics of both FW and UT :( Yes Jbeam can reem any Jbeam head, the ferrules will be offline though.
  5. are these hit ? or brand new? great wedges! the smallest and imo best buchi wedge
  6. Crazy Full Titan or Jbeam TF-FW in 17.5 !!
  7. Weeks back I swung by J-Beam's head quarters to check out their new full titanium TF Fairway Woods. I snapped these photos and was able to hit each loft on the launch monitor against my own gamers. The new TF caters to a wide range of players from the better golfer who wants an easier long distance fairway wood to the mid and high handicapper who is looking to make easy contact with a high penetrating launch. These surprisingly fit the bill for all players. I play Modart Fairway Woods and have for a long time the reason why I prefer them is because they are easy to make clean contact with the ball off the fairway but also they are penetrating and low spin for a very straight shot, I've been so happy with them I never felt the need to wander elsewhere. That was until now, I went to Jbeam to pick up a prototype of the new ZY-7 driver and while there got to test the TF fairway and utility woods. As you can see below the face is somewhat shallow not supper shallow but what I would consider a touch taller than shallow. this helps the ball get airborne easier. The head is a 2 piece structure made fully of titanium and slightly oversized at 210cc's. what makes these fit a wide range of player is the shaft you insert, I tried all the various aftermarket major brand shafts at Jbeam along with their very own Yamazaki shafts which are absolutely fantastic no matter what head you put them in. The result I preferred was the YZ-Black Fairway shaft in SX flex which comes in at 68 grams and had a multi kick point design that produces very tight dispersion and mid/high trajectory. The TF-FW has 3 variants of 3 woods, 13.5/15.5/17.5 along with 19.5 and 21.5 these lofts make it a very good choice, I'm torn between the all 3 lofts not sure which to get, I think I would leave it up to the type of course I am playing as the 17.5 while 20yds shorter than the 13.5 was super easy to hit consistently enough so I would be stupid not to choose that loft. Also we now offer hosel reeming which combined with hand picked heads is giving you the ability to have flatter or more upright lie angles and the more extreme face angles. Thanks for reading!
  8. Sorry guys not yet. Release is 6/7 will be posting before then. Quantity is limited, It would be a mess if I oversold these so must be careful and hold back a bit.
  9. 7D has not nailed down the process for these shafts yet, they do have prototypes Ive rolled in various heads. MPBs shaft is 120g they designed it based on his preferences in the many 7D wood shafts he already has. When its all final there will be a form related to putting. Whats strange is they told me pro feedback has been greatest for their 95g shaft which I cant wrap my head around such a light putter shaft. Right now nothing is final, MPBs is a true prototype he is the only person outside of a few tour pros with one. They have taken such a long time on the creation of this shaft because they want to influence roll not just feel and are seeking tangible results.
  10. Because higher handicap players are not consistent we have found a spin reducing shaft that is anti slice and squares up quickly is a very big deal. Head's matter especially for better players it's about 50% of the equation. For the best players even the variance in the tolerance & CT makes a difference so yes I'm saying the soft face thing is a problem, even CT if 2 drivers have 20pts difference in CT distance gain/loss is noticeable. Only when all things are equal then the top heads are all within 5-10yds of each other.
  11. Never! They are dead to me :) Just posting this info for the members.
  12. We designed and produced a very special murdered out Gold's putter for our Mpbachman and for such a special product it deserved a special shaft. Well 7D isn't releasing the putter shaft until July so we pulled some strings and got him the very first prototype to be sold to a consumer worldwide. The weights and inserts are done in black mirror so at different angles they look different types of darks. Sorry the photos are not the best, 7D took them for me.
  13. A little something for the Epon fans a new Fairway & Wedge for ya.
  14. Get one of the Ryoma weight kits, keep the shaft long off the start this will give you some options with tipping the shaft and dialing in the head weight & swing weight.
  15. I would call it Tachibana era (pres) or Hashimoto & Takahashi era as they designed and made the shafts ( now with loop ). Abe is more a top manager and has been let go at TRPX lately. As someone who has tried nearly every crazy shaft the designs and materials of the new ones are very similar. Not better or worse actually they fit people a bit better and carry a higher satisfaction rating with our customers than the old. Your spot on in saying they are slightly lighter and seem less stable in some of the regens yet STP & 9 series are more player. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the 9 actually if you ever get the chance, if you like stable with a quicker transition, I think it's a beaut. If you like Crazy specifically they, TRPX and LOOP are all UD unidirectional made shafts which carry a love or hate trait about them IMO. 7D is one of the few brands I know not using Torray but saying an ultra stable swing is better we don't see. The majority of people who love 7D shafts are not what I would call fast or stable swingers they swing slower and are often higher handicaps. Yet the most vocal opinions are from the "forum crowd" or where the most stable swings may be. 7D shafts are custom and actually do just a good job for higher handicaps than any other category there is no group they are better or worse for. As their biggest dealer worldwide and with our collection of post 45 day owner reviews I think the custom aspect is what makes it so special requesting anti-right or left, feel in tip/mid/butt, and launch angle is so much easier than looking at an OEMs EI curve or description and trying to figure it out on our own.
  16. I wouldn't go just based on SS but if u must I would say 95+ with a normal - semi aggressive tempo and 90mph with very aggressive.
  17. Crazy, Today I still deal with the same people since the very start over 10 years ago outside of the president, unfortunately they are not the same co. since that wild situation. It's always the brands responsibility to re-check specs after the products are made including Kyoei and Yururi, how unfortunate. That said Endo has their fair share of tolerance issues with various OEMs they have produced but you can expect a lot higher standard with their own house label.
  18. AK putters is a side project from Ako-san, still a long ways out.
  19. Tolerance is a different story, money can get you that at the factory. Its not the factory itself it's how good a customer you are to the factory and what you request, for example 2 different brands at the same factory can have totally different tolerance. Cobra at Endo didn't have the same tolerance as Epon. But yes for price your right it's expensive, a common one I heard was you have to sell 5000 pieces to break even on the mold cost, so #5001 u get a return. So if you wonder why the drivers are all so similar there you have it, they are adjustments not entirely new. Tech is maxed out due to restrictions so what we are getting is many different and unique flavors instead of completely new dishes so Epon doesn't need to do anything different but their clubs will be somewhat similar in taste which can be good. Last is spin, there are much lower spinning drivers that's for sure, just maybe not for your swing that you have found yet. Epon makes great clubs the only unfortunate thing is they are a company with no soul like the many others out there. You could replace the entire staff and It wouldn't make a drastic difference. Anyway there is a new factory in Japan that the best minds from Endo left to start. You guys have seen and hit a little of it already, I will share more about them next March.
  20. Part of that has to do with a very strong brand image from the very start ;)
  21. Im just saying Epons faces are too soft to produce the distance the OEMs desire against China & Taiwan. I don't know this from personal experience but from what many OEMs tell me. I also don't care. It's not only the material of the face it's the manufacturing process which has them trapped. I know the amount of OEMs using Endo has declined rapidly they may be toast or continue to live of borrow money.
  22. Love this one, the new DST FW in Shingo's bag.
