You are looking at the Ultimate Honma Tour World Combo Set. Prior to the release of the Honma Tour World TW727 Series TSG planned what would be our dream Honma iron set utilizing everything that Honma's Sakata Factory had to offer and this is what we came up with. This Combo set is 4-PW It is TW727P in only the #4, It is the new TW727Vn #5 thru 7 and 727M #8 - PW. All of the lie angles, loft, swing weight and length are adjusted to flow properly for consistency throughout the set. As you notice the finish is very different this is Honma's Black Nickel Chrome and it's stunning even more so in person this is a durable plating with a soft sticky feel at impact when you hit the MB's center with the Black Nickel it feels like a warm club face hitting a cold dense stick of butter the ball just melts. We requested a custom order only Vizard IB105 which is the heaviest Vizard they make it's 103-105 grams and made of high grade Carbon with an Amorphous metal fiber weaved into the tip section for the best of Carbon with the accuracy of steel. Warning to anyone who considers these softer than steel because they play firm and are obviously for players who want a lower more accurate penetrating trajectory and dispersion. TW727M #8-PW TW727VN #5 - #7 TW727P #4 Below: Top Line Images of MB/CB/CB Below Sole of MB & VN

33" = 350g 34" = 340g 35" = 330g This is what for a long time was considered optimal balance for a putter. What do you think about that? Is a heavy head weight a trend? Would you go to 360 or 370g+ heads? I've experienced heavy heads help me with normal to slower greens and lighter better with faster putts. What say you?

Guys blue bottle is legit! I've never been to their retail locations but the online service delivers good coffee each with a story. I've had versimo, keruig, and some other brand and while they were decent when I realized thats like $3 a pound type of coffee that I'm paying $50 a pound for so I had to taste what $50 a pound coffee was like and its a totally new level, my first cup I drink black just to taste the nuances of the bean. On a trip I had some from a Jura and it was better than everything and only second to my favorite coffee shops in Japan and some Jamican stuff I was given at a hotel in India. I'm not getting one of these anytime soon though.

TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Just got word from MG that the 9005 may be a limited edition and that they may no longer produce this head after first delivery due to SUP-10 being limited for this application. They are unable to order or produce a second run as things stand right now. -

RomaRo Alpha Series - RomaRo Sports has come out with an entirely new line up labelled "Alpha" Today after about 3 rounds and some help from playing partners we can review their new flagship driver. Available in Silver or Gold with the difference being the Gold is non conforming aka HOT and only available in 10.5 with a 0.5* closed face angle. The Alpha SLE (silver) also has a 9.5* loft and comes standard at square face, both are 460cc's with a 58* lie angle. So far we have tested the new RomaRo Alpha Silver in a couple of different shafts including the new TRPX Aura Stiff and also the Basileus AAA 60 Stiff so as far as premium shaft options go we have tried them. Who is this for? It's geared to the player who wants a full size 460cc mid/high launch semi low spin driver. Who is that? It's the usually a mid handicap player who swings under 100mph the lower spin will help straighten the shot and reduce ballooning while at the same time it's shallow face aids in getting the ball up. The face seems a little small and shallow in size for a 460 but what's interesting is how straight mis-hits fly, overall it's incredibly forgiving across the majority of the impact area. This is one of the key features as the face is a new Forged Cup TVC Titanium and what RomaRo has done is completely re-design the behind the face structure so it's thicker in the center and across symmetrical beams to the toe and heel what this does is spread forgiveness across the entire hitting zone helping you stabilize mistakes made. The rest of the head consists of a forged thin crown made of 15-3-3-3 which is a rather common material as well as a 6-4Ti body which we also see often but the crowns three-piece structure is a very thinly forged making it only 0.4mm thick which causes the crown to flex creating an almost spring-like effect for a high launch and low spin for more distance. The excess weight by having such a thin forged crown allowed RomaRo's designers to place more weight deep and low. I don't know how all that plays out in the real but I can say the entire face seems forgiving, the driver has great distance and RomaRo has played a very smart move in creating what seems to be what most golfers need most, a driver that launches high with low spin and a face that is forgiving from most spots struck. The shallow back that lifts high off the ground is a cool technique hidden to help raise the CG so really this driver is not only designed for the player who needs game improvement like performance, the new RomaRo Alpha does a nice job at hiding low spin, higher CG characteristics very well so you feel comfortable with all aspects of it's design and ultimately it's performance. We paired it first with the Basileus AAA 60 Stiff Limited 2015 version, very straight and slightly too low but the roll itself was an easy 20yds. still we felt we could get more out of it so we installed the new TRPX Aura which is much like this driver, designed for a more aggressive swing but has some very player friendly attributes this shaft is one of the best we found for the Ryoma Maxima and many other heads so putting into the RomaRo was something we knew we would do eventually and we are glad we did the launch I would describe as mid/high where as the AAA was just mid, the kick the Aura gives in the tip is active yet it's considered a tip stiff shaft, the result was about 5yds more carry than the AAA and a little less roll so distance wise it was a wash between the two shafts but the trajectory just seemed "right" with the Aura. Tested with my swing approx 99mph and my coaches swing 115-120mph it was obvious that his speed could easily overpower the Aura yet with the AAA it help up better for his power so while both shafts worked better for me it was good to see that this head did very well for faster swingers with no ballooning whatsoever. Distance: A - The combo of low spin and high launch make the new Alpha a pleasure to hit, watch the ball fly high off the face with a tighter dispersion and together it equals great distance given the shaft and build is ideal for your swing. Forgiveness: B+ - Almost the entire face felt like a sweet spot, the least forgiving zone was the toe, but still better than most! off the heel distance and dispersion was still tight. Feel: B - One of the better feeling drivers, the forged cup face and forged crown just sends the right vibration up the hands, it's sound is a soft metal crunch with a slight hollow accent to it. Really nice feel at impact. Trajectory: A - High launch with low spin is where driver design needs to go for most players and RomaRo has dialed this in, Depending on the shaft you choose you can turn this into a high or mid trajectory driver or somewhere in between, some of us have been getting too low with Jbeam or too high with Ryoma as those two heads can be a bit deciving when it comes to trajectory/loft/shaft selection but with the new RomaRo Alpha it's in the middle and you can rely on a mid/high for most swings with no ballooning. Dispersion: B+ - not ZY-11 tight but it's straighter than most and thank the low spin for that.

Been testing for almost 3 weeks now. Will start posting in the blog and here about the latest stretch of clubs/shafts we are hitting. Stay Tuned.

We are not sure, S20 & S400 seem to be also very soft but so much more goes into feel like loft, sole grind, and design. Also using MCI's Crazy carbon and other great shafts make everything feel good but will it feel soft with an X100? Gotta test more.

Yes thin strips of sandpaper + steel wool and acetone, tape the head neck and shaft up and be careful.

Here is a prototype with only 2 sets made yet each different in ways. One is a thin version and the other not seen in this photo is thicker with translucent red paint. These irons will not be released outside of this, I've been gaming them with Crazy STP85 shafts which are the lightest carbon shafts I have gamed in almost forever they are stiff flex. CrazySTP85 shafts are unreal and so are these heads.

The crazy giga5 thing costs over 5k. I've tried a Jura Machines before not this fancy model but they make noticeably better drinks. At a certain point you can't spend much more on a machine as they all do pretty much the same thing but then you start getting into that 2-5k range and you see a difference. A smooth and quality cappuccino in the morning or after dinner is a luxury. For normal coffee I subscribe to blue bottle Coffee : https://bluebottlecoffee.com/ Every week they send me new types from all over the world, it's a great way to test. I also buy a la carte Jamacian & Kona Coffee. Kerug, Nesspresso, Versimmo and all those capsule coffees have become trendy but the drinker ends up spending over $40 per pound for $3 a pound quality. $40 per pound coffee should taste a hell of a lot better. For the same price you can have two coffee service subscriptions and money left over. Any drinkers?
