  1. 52* 56* I find it very interesting they only have 50/52/56/56O options and no 58 or 60* in the line up. The reason Ako-san told me was that the grind on the 56* allows a good player to open it up to act as a 58 or even 60* Enjoy the pics.
  2. Hi James, what's your thoughts on size of the club head? How big are you willing to go? I love the topic of GI, There is nothing wrong with a little or a lot of forgiveness and distance :)
  3. Sorry no Lefty.
  4. If you got it from TSG, drop me an email, I will contact them and find out.
  5. I have a customer who just refinished theirs in Black Boron. Hope to have pics soon.

Driver Driving Iron Utility Wood Wedge - Raw Wedge - Satin
  7. I would go Miuraism all day.
  8. A-Grind does this as well with the custom grinds from Ako-san. Of course these are blades so they are for as low as one can go.
  9. Actually more info guys: So there are two types: Type F - Promotes Fade Type D - Promotes Draw Each one is available in two finishes, a flat silver and shinny silver satin.
  10. Love carbon in blades, my preference is MCI 100 and up.
  11. No I'm stuck testing all the new Honma gear right now, with 4 drivers, 4 irons, FW + UT it's taking a while.
  12. More pics of D's beaut.
  13. They are lovely :) Have not hit them yet so I guess we are relying on Stew's feedback. Now in the TSG Pro Shop and yes they are available heads only. We can also custom install shafts or have Ako-san hand stamp them for you.
  14. Who's ready for A-GRIND week at TSG?
  15. NUD is basically same quality as Baldo, looks very similar. While I like both brands they somewhat lack in Quality compared to other botique makers, this is mostly evident in their irons, wedges, and drivers. If you guys like we can add it to the TSG store, we have a good relationship with Baldo.
  16. Just the toe grind, they are both Y grind but the F is sharper. It looks like an adjusted 5003 imo.
  17. Yup, So I personally loved the feel of the RomaRo Type R FW it was a little wild for me or some could consider it workable. The 306V Ti is user friendly all around, while it doesn't feel as forgey as the RomaRo due to it's Ti material it's lighter semi hollow sound and feel is still better than most, easier to hit it straight, higher ball flight, more shallow face and easier up off the deck and I also think it's a bit longer so imo win goes to the 306V Ti.
  18. We gotta take pre orders on these, they are almost gone. email [email protected] if interested.
  19. So today I played a full round with the 460 again with the YA55 in Regular flex, I'm usually a stiff flex player and use heavier shafts but surprisingly the ball went very straight. It's a little warmer now the feel off the face is nice, it's semi soft, not loud at all, just a little crunch to it but not much. This driver is not very workable imo. It also seems draw bias to me. Of course you can hit cuts or fades with it but do keep in mind off the 727 series drivers this has the highest moi and furthest back and low CG making it less workable by design. Depending on how workable you want you would sellect the model, been playing a lot of golf, hitting a lot of Honma gear lately, it's all very good.
  20. It should make sense your clubmaker, it's not common but some people do request shafts not fully inserted into the hosel. Ask him to measure then install 3/4 of the way in or so if your going to try this.
  21. Well Kinda Bad... So Seven has done well in it's first month, much better than we anticipated and customers are loving both the wedges and irons which we always knew they would. Originally it was supposed to be exclusive to TSG but since the launch companies worldwide have been aggressive in trying to get an account, we are taking it slow only choosing the best partners and so far we have selected a Thailand & Korea distributor ( won't name yet ) and in order to allow them the margin as well as their shop accounts a competitive margin that is on par with other brands a serious price increase had to be implemented, that's still being sorted out but just letting you guys know it's coming. We are down to our last stocks, after this expect a pretty hefty increase, There is no other way around it, in the beginning TSG wasn't making much even at the current prices because we produce very small amounts and go overboard on all the details i.e Seven products on average cost 2-4 times more to make than other brands made in Japan BUT with this price increase the margin will be very good for us so I'm just being totally transparent about it, and we are investing all of it back into the company to produce a slew of new items and this will allow us to fund woods as at previous prices it was not possible at all to produce a top tier original driver. Another thing we can do is make cover custom paint work and reduce the cost of shaft options a good amount. But the retail prices gotta go up. Next the news that broke my heart, J.I.S Grade S15C is no longer available anywhere in Japan. I won't opt for Chinese stuff you know me. No more billets to forge into our iron mold. We had no idea and when I went to re order irons I was told the bad news. So get them now if you want to experience soft on an entirely different level. Wedge heads will most likely increase in price by $70 per head = $230 Iron sets will go up in price somewhere around $420 = $1470 for 7 heads. At the current prices this is all we have left: Satin S15C 4-PW: 7 sets 1050 + Shipping 160 per head Satin + Logo SS400 Wedge 52* : 1 Satin + Logo SS400 Wedge 54* : 3 Satin + Logo SS400 Wedge 56* : 2 Satin + Logo SS400 Wedge 58* : 1 Satin + Logo SS400 Wedge 52* : 1 Raw SS400 Irons 4-PW : 2 sets ( made for custom finish + bending ) 850 + Finish 120 per head + Finish Raw SS400 Wedge 52* : 1 Raw SS400 Wedge 54* : 2 Raw SS400 Wedge 56* : 1 Raw SS400 Wedge 58* : 1 Raw SS400 Wedge 52* : 2 As you can see stock is thin, more are on the way BUT they all go up in price a pretty big amount for the 2nd run. 22. I really like the shapes of these heads when looking down and from face on, hit them both and they feel excellent to , the trajectory is medium even on the S. I personally would choose S if I had to choose between the two but I'm like that I went MA01S with Modart and TRPX S-013 but looks wise the D is just so sexy, what I don't like is how the black on the sole looks, a little thick on the paint imo but all in all very good performance for the better player. 23. or he's gonna start drinking and doing drugs...
  24. Much more forgiving than ONOFF forged but they don't feel anywhere as soft. TW727 "VN" would be your ticket, have you hit those?
  25. Yes I don't like Jill, it's like a flat rough texture finish. A couple people have ordered it in the past, not the best looking imo.
