Been doing some freshwater bass fishing lately and with the yen being so cheap I have the itch to pick up a really nice gear setup. Any recommendations of models I know the shimanos and daiwas but I'm looking for specific model's since theres so many damn options. Using mainly rubber worms and a spinning reel.

A set of iron shafts if they played the same as my driver shaft would be ridiculously good. It's crazy that the shaft still holds up years later. Have never played anything close to as good and it's the shaft that finally got me to stop being a driver shaft whore.

Just want to give a shoutout to the GOAT driver shaft. Still far and away the best driver shaft I've ever hit and has been firmly in my bag for a few years. A 70x tipped 1/2 inch that I bought off ebay for $800. Best investment ever.

Favorite wedges are the Seven st's. I am gaming them in the 51-57-61. Theyre sick.

miuraisms a clear and away #1. The 3,4,5 irons in the us blades are nice I dont care for the shorter clubs though. May have to revisit honma at some point. Some of the newer mizuno designs are nice but theres so many models its hard to remember what's what and would have to wait a few years for price to come down on the secondary market. A grind mb's are nice as well, maybe lacking in the feel category but I have not gamed them. I have my Miuraisms set up exactly how I like them so to switch out now would be a pita and I don't have fomo playing them cause theyre plenty good enough.

honma does make a pretty blade. p-6 nothing can beat miuraism. It does get a little scary in the 4 and 5 irons cause theyre so small. Thinking of transitioning there a little.

They felt good I just think there are better options out there for blades. The look was good but not sexy if you know what I mean. Very few sets are "life changing" but when you know you know. I dont know what it was about the putter but I hated it right away. It was probably way too big of a head for what I like and what I was expecting. When you struck a putt it almost felt hollow. Fortunately I bought it on ebay and the guy offered free returns.

Had a set they were nice but not life changing, sold them. I also had one of their putters the L shaped one and sold that quickly. I'm in miuraisms for a couple years have my eyes on a set of fujimoto mb-x's if I wanted to spend the money.

Welcome to the forum. The brands you narrowed your search down to are easy to find outside of Japan. It's going to be real hard to make a recommendation seeing as there's probably 50-100 different Japanese brands that most haven't heard of. Many are available on this site. Some are not but its a great starting point.

I recently got a set of axis fairway woods 14* and 17.5* They're slightly open. I really like them. They are upright too which i like.

Of the ones I've tried the Masdas (both versions 2 and 3) have a thicker top line but maybe not as much as that buchi.

Only thing is they don't publish face angle specs. If its not a little bit open it wont last long in my bag.

Beautiful putter

Just won these bids and I'm excited and figured I'd share since no one I know personally would care LOL. That 11 degree fairway wood I'm gonna give a shot on my home course. It's tight with overly sloped tee boxes so it's easy to get in trouble with the driver and I'm too short to keep up with a regular fairway wood. It was 11 dollars haha. I wasn't planning on buying any clubs just grips but when I saw this putter I had to have it. It was $350 but I think it's well worth it. Also picked a bunch of Masda slicks as they are my grip of choice and not available in the USA and one of these cloth stm putter grips.
