I have tried the TM range, and at present have a UX2 and a CLK. Personally I don't really feel any significant difference in these two weapons. I have a NSPro 950 in the UX2 and a NV85 in the CLK. Think I prefer the steel shaft. I also tried a Banzai in my UX2 and took it out quickly, horrible flight and distance. But, hey, we're all different and what suits me may be awful for someone else. Really love them both

I think the chrome just looks amazing on these irons. they remind me of my original 300's in the way they just look so soft. Also, good to see a company going chrome again especially as everyone seems to be going satin... :tsg_smilie_cool:

I think I just prefer a heavier putter as it helps me take the putter away more slowly. this gives me a better follow through and strike. Takes the jerk out of the long putt too. As for "The One" that plus1 has in his bag......... very nice..... :tsg_smilie_cool:

the problem with most impulse purchases it they cost a fortune new, but once hit are not worth 2 cents.... so they're worth more to us than selling them on at a massive loss

kinda makes you wanna get the grinder out and have a go for yourself. Saw a programme the other night on the golf channel where Arnold Palmer was in his garage talking about the amount of club building he has always done. good to see some of the pros do it for themselves and get as much fun as us out of it.

Personally, I've looked at most of the Scotty range over the years. I love the idea of a sight line but hate the size and shape of the Newport 2.... Until, that is I had a look at plus1's Blade. It is like a smaller chunkier version of the Newport 2 and looks absolutely class...... temptation coming my way again..... However, its going to be hard to break my fixation with Scotty's....

so is it worth the extra cash getting it spined and flo'd. Can any of the manufacturers do it. I noticed in my new Ping G5 the shaft has the writing on the angle instead of underneath.

compare the prices then compare the performance..... I rest my case

perhaps one of the best ways to try gear without buying is coming to this forum and let others spend their cash trying everything under the sun on your behalf and you can learn from their experiences..... only problem is then you get spoilt for choice

must be just me, but i played a corza for the first time after an impulse buy and hate it. never putted worse in my entire life.... couldn't even hole a 2 footer.... feel good, roll good, but obviously just not for me.... so a 34" corza plumbers neck for sale.... drop me a pm if interested. :tsg_smiley_laughatyou:

for most of us we probably buy something because we like the look of it rather than having done extensive testing.... For me its usually about personal preference. Also, if someone I know and trust recommends it i'm likely to give it a go.... That's what I hate about being friends with plus1..... he's always got something in his bag that I fancy having a go with....
