Epon Zen vs Epon i33 vs Yamada Emperor 2
The Zen is a very different putter compared to the other 2 anser style putters. Which style suits your stroke the best? As nice as the peening on the Zen putter is and its finish, if you can;t putt with it, there's really no point. I'm on a putter binge now and if I could putt with the Zen, I would have jumped on it a while ago but what I buy has to suit my swing and stroke and not vice versa. Zen is a very nice looking putter but I don't putt best with that style of putter.

SOLD - Gold's Factory Private Sock No. 2
Selling my all original Gold's Factory Private Stock No. 2 putter head and headcover only. As you can see from the pics, the condition is very good. Tario says this is very close to the soft black finish currently offered by GF and Chris says this is made from high grade JIS 303 Stainless Steel. Head weight is 345 grams, 3* loft and 71.5* lie. $OLD inclusive of airpost with track and paypaled. Insurance extra. Thanks for looking.

Ryoma Maxima Type V or TRPX S-013 ??
How's your ball striking? I ask because I believe extra distance from hi-cor comes only with sweet spot hits. Anything else, no diff.

WTB: Crazy TJ46 6.5-6.9 (Nero/Noir) or something similar....
Hi, TJ46 comes in only 6.2 or 6.7 (there is no 6.5 or 6.9 :-) I have a BRAND NEW TJ46 6.2 that will be shipped in the original Crazy box if interested. Thanks.

Duff, I think the bore or thread size is different.

Nudgee, I think where T is coming from and I agree, whether its Crazy or Jbeam or TRPX weights as they are all made by the same Jbeam guys and if they are the 1 gram or 2 gram weights, this issue is inherent due to the much softer alu compound. I suggest when you tighten such weights, don;t rely on the wrench torque. Just go by feel and if you hear a torque click and if the wrench is even slightly tilted, there is a high chance the light weight will be stripped. FYI, same thing happened to me which I shared with T via PM some weeks back.

RC Dent Back

Ryoma Maxima Type V or TRPX S-013 ??
I only have the Type D which is slightly lighter than the Type V. For me, the S-013 is a better all round driver BUT the Type D has given my more outright long drives than the S-013. For the Maxima, you need to bear in mind 2 things… 1) it launches slightly higher loft for loft and 2) it is trickier for some reason to find the right shaft but when you do…. :-) I have not played (or bothered to try :-)) the 913 or any Titty driver for a LONNGGGGGG while so I really can't give a compare to that.

RC Dent Back
Have a spare set of shimada wedge shafts and I chanced upon these RC Dent Back forged wedges. The 52 although already 9*bounce I will bend to 54. Anyone know who forged these for RC? I don't think this series is Endo. Also, I don't think MT was involved in this?

Home Theater Bose or Samsung??
wmclarenf1 replied to john_n's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI've always found Bose to be on the bright side but if you are not an audiophile it will do. They are also great for hiding away. If you want to go components, I would still recommend a speaker system from Definitive Tech. Great powered system that do a good enough job for music or movies. It's not a high end system as well so its affordable and they last and are resilient to kids and stuff. If you want high end, that's a whole separate (and very costly discussion) discussion and its not just speakers you need to look at… pre power, interconnects etc all come into play. Based solely on your 2 brands raised, I'd go Bose.

Hmmm… Interesting that for you, a higher lofted S flies lower than a lower lofted D. That throws a bot of a curve ball for me as I was thinking if tinkering around with a D as well but base on your comments, going with a 9.5 D may be better than the 10* D I was originally thinking about. I think the Touale also launches higher than the Messenger 1st?

That is bad sound for you Miura? Compared to the 435 which I had fr a long while, the feel and sound of the TRPX is very good. Goes to show how these things are very personal.

If I can get my hands on a fairly priced used D 10*, I have a WBQ 55 SR and a TJ46 that I am curious to try it with.

SOLD - Minty TRPX S-031 (10*) with Crazy TJ-46 (6.7) shaft + weights
Interesting. You and I have the same swing speed range and I play a half flex softer than you and you get about 10yards more in distance. You're probably swinging better than me with driver.
