  1. Sound, feel and forgiveness not great but not terrible. Distance is fantastic when you get it. Operative word is "when".
  2. Anyone?
  3. Mikey, For what its worth, I think the XXX D will be a good bet for you.
  4. I'm inclined to agree. The Super Rockets I have in the bag now still seems good for a 6-7 year old or more club hence my interest in the new Power Tornadoes.

    Was up for football :-)

Could be. It's been here a long time.
  7. Hmmm.. the more I putt with this the more I like it. Will put it in the bag for the next few rounds and see if it'll return the same results. The DG shaft it cmae with made the head feel very crisp but now with the Shimada shaft, lead weight and cork plug in the shaft tip, the feel os totally different in a much better way. Turning out to be a very, very nice putter.
  8. Anyone playing them? I have in the bag a really really really old Kasco 33 with an Accra T60 shaft and its actually quite forgiving for a 16*. Just wondering what the newer Generation Power Tornadoes 6 or 7 are like. Feedback appreciated. Thanks in advance.

GP Decadelite. Its corded and 37 grams. Comes with and without the back ridge. Gauge is on the small end but nothing additional wraps of tape can;t solve.
  10. Looking for a SDJ RIGHT hand 56* wedge head. Prefer any of the conforming models but the non-conform is ok as well. The dark finish head as well. Thanks for looking.
  11. I think I know what you mean but that is down to the choice of outer material. If I am thinking the same, Tourstage and Oakley of old used the same material. Vey nice to the touch but durability was as close to bad as bad can get. The polyurethane seems to be better and more durable. Has a sheen to it.
  12. Too early fr me to say as I just got them but they will be as durable as the next. Quality wise.... all these headcovers and bags are made in pretty much the same places in China so again, won't be much better or worse than the next.
  13. They've been around quite a while. Zipang, Zeal, DWD, WinWIn Style are but a few that make rather interesting (may be read as loud as well LOL) bags and accessories. I;m using Zipang iron head covers.

I think Quadra also has WBQ irons in the 90+ gram range. Did you consider those?
  15. Oakley FW headcover added. Never used on course. $40 shipped airpost with track and paypaled. Insurance extra.
  16. 15* Hybrid?! Is it easy to launch?
  17. On the suggestion of a couple here, I looked and found an old beat up kasco 33 16 hybrid. Not the super Gutenberg face but the maraging model. Took it to the range and it was surprisingly easy to hit and seemed long. Feel is closer to a persimmon kinda feel and had at twacky sound. Will take it out for a round and see how it goes. If it's ok, will give it a new lease of life with a Fuji MCH shaft.

  19. Had another 9 and was driving like crap the first 3 holes and then on the 6th hole, teed off. Direction was good, saw it carry the huge right bunker. Started walking to my normal landing area given that the drive was straightish. Arrived at the normal landing area. No ball.. look around the rough thinking it may have plugged (rained massive yesterday). Nothing.. looked in the bunker.. maybe it didn't carry.. nothing... then looked up ahead and went "holy crap"... my ball was about 23 (paced it) yards ahead of my normal landing area. Took out my GPS and ranged the tree beside the tee box.. 257 meters or approx 282 yards... first time going deep with Debbie (ok.. my definition of long. I know some of you guys hit 280 yards on average but for this 245+ yard average driver of the ball, this is long). Have never driven this long on this hole. No wind assistance as well. Took out a PW and 2 putted for par. Needless to say, the remaining 2 driving holes, nowhere close to 280 yards and was back to my average 245+ yard drives. Ah well... at least its happened once and hopefully, several more once in a while to come.
  20. Selling a brand new tags on and still in original plastic packaging FW and Mallet putter hc from Zeal. I'm using the zeal bag, it and iron pouch and they are good. Some kind of polyurethane gloss material used. FW cover has a zip enclosure and mallet cover is Velcro. $60 shipped airpost with track and paypaled. Insurance extra. Thanks for looking.
  21. Well, with the previous EGG, you can;t go wrong. Seems like the new Egg is even better so that appears to be a good bet. Just trying to find out if the new Egg loft for loft is indeed consistently longer than the previous EGG and if the Type R UT 18* is longer despite being 1* stronger. Many other stronger lofted UTs I have tried have fallen to my Egg.

This putter is about 8 weeks old and been on course only once. It's a 612 stainless in matte blue oil finish. Head weight is 344 grams, 3* loft and 71.5* lie. I can have the putter adjusted for loft and lie no more than 2* each way for the buyer. The putter and headcover is as close to new. Face has a light tuna mill and stampings as per pics. The putter rolls great but I am not a fan of patina hence the sale. According to Byron, this finish is meant to patina. New this putter cost slightly over $600. Byron shaft label is in as new condition and iomic grip is still shrunk wrapped. Selling at $old shipped airpost with track and paypaled. Insurance extra. Thanks for looking.
  23. Thanks R. I've been really anti-TM for the longest time. Hate their every 3 month release in a different color. Find it insulting LOL.
  24. I Ash, thanks for chiming in. I really hoping that it can be longer than the previous I+ with the same forgiveness. Have dropped driverhead a PM to ask more about his 10 yard pickup against his old egg so we'll see how that goes.... How's the Machine?
