Indeed :-) For ME, I;m still not sure yet. I still think the Crazy TJ46 is one of the best shafts for ME. Only way is to have a another S-013 10* and hit side by side. Hopefully within a fortnight, this discussion for me will be resolved.

Anyone playing the NEW PRGR EGG I+?
How's it against the old loft for loft? If there is an increase in distance, is that a consistent increase round after round after round? Also, how does it stack up against the RomaRo Type R UT? Thanks.

An Original Gold's Factory Private Stock #2
MIne came as 4 and I had it adjusted to 3*. I hear you about the PZ Mill but if I send it int GF, I was thinking a bing job as well and that's where my rationality or irrationality as the case may be, comes in and I start hitting bumps in my thought process. Im convinced about the horizontal PZ mill reducing skidding and enhancing feel as I have that done to my GS.

An Original Gold's Factory Private Stock #2
Recently bought a used Gold's Factory Private Stock #2 finished in what looks close to GF's Soft Black finish with matte finish on all areas the eye sees at address and with the face, sole and sides in a polished finish. Looks wise, this original Private Stock #2 (which I am told is maybe 4-5 years old) is the antithesis of what we see of many current day Gold's Factory putters. No bling at all! This is as plain as Jane gets! Engravings are all in rather plain type face and some too big. Aesthetics is definiely not its calling although the finish is very nice I think (and the previous owner, whoever it is in Japan, has kept it in fantastic condition). The face has a very shallow mill compared to the original PZ horizontal mill on my GF Tuned GS Mono3. Not surprising then that the PS2 has a firmer feel and clickier note. I've only had 18 holes in with it and apart from the firmer feel and clickier note, the skidding while not bad, is evident. I've set up the PS2 to be as close to exact head specs wise as my other putters. 3* loft, 71.5* lie and with the lighter head weight of 345 grams, I'm put a 12 gram tungsten weight in the tip of the Shimada 120 gram stepped putter shaft playing to 34 like all my other putters. Because the tungsten weight is 1 gram more than I would have liked, I have 5 inches of high density lead tape just under the grip to counter balance that. There is a difference in feel let me tell you. We digress though... the skidding... so all this talk that different mill patterns do not have any effect on roll but only feel dictated by the depth of the mill... I don't know.. I'm still not convinced either way. However, it's only 18 holes so still early days. Let's see if this persists or maybe I just had a bad putting round.... or did I? Maiden 18 holes, the PS2 with Shimada shaft came in with 28 putts.. only 1 more than my best ever putting round of 27. 2 birdies and lots of one putts (although 3 were literally tap-ins due to a hot Crazy wedge). Distance control was good and the ball definitely does not feel like it comes off the face the fastest. Despite the skidding, distance control on mid speed greens was good and putts seemed to hold the line well enough. Despite a hot 28 putt round, she had her 3 putt blemish on the last par 5. All in all however, a great maiden performance. When I got the PS2, it was with the intention to send it in for GF pimping. I've been going back and forth with T on this and almost driving him crazy if not already. With how PS2 performed though, I'm now not so sure if I should. I'm still inclined to, just not as sure as before the round. I'm just thinking that with a horizontal PZ mill which perhaps can be a tad shallower in depth than then the mill on my GS Mono3, that may take care of the firmer feel and clicky note and more importantly, the slight skidding which should then give an even better roll... or maybe just leave good as good....hmmm...

Official TRPX Drivers and Shafts Review Thread
Finally have enough rounds and range time with the S-013 10* and Messenger 1st shaft to post a proper opinion of this combo. Today despite a double bogey and double par on Par 3 (yeah! go figure!!!!), came in with an 83. Used the driver on 11 holes and hit 6 fairways... BUT....only 1 was really bad with a OB left and this natural fader trying to draw a ball on a long dog leg right Par 4 (this hole was the Double Bogey hole)... ended up pulling it OB. Apart from this, the 5 misses were 4 first cut and very very playable (2 pars and a birdie from these 4 holes) and the other in a fairway bunker. I am finding this to be a very good all round driver BUT not spectacular in any one department apart from the area which 2 or 3 have said they have none of... ROLL. For me, tis thing seems to roll the most of all my combos, Maxima and 435 included. That said, distance wise, its not short, keeps up I think with the AVG 435 distance but I have not had any 250-260 meter bombs yet like I have had with the 435 or the Maxima. Again, its not shorter on an average and consistent basis than the Maxima or 435, just that no "damn! That's a bomb" drives yet. Hopefully when I get more used to it, that will come. Forgiveness wise, I still rate the original D1 as THE fairway finder but compared to the 435, its forgiveness central. More forgiving I think than the Maxima as well but only just. I wasn;t swinging my best for the last 18 but stiil had the results detailed above. I think that's good for me. Ability to shape shots? No comment.. driving is the worst part of my game, I just try to hit it straight. Misses as with my other combos are high push fades with the very occasional pull. Looks wise, I'm not too hot with the sparkly stuff and would have preferred an all black head but I'm looking at the ball anyways at address so no buggy. Messenger 1st SR flex shaft I find is, again, a nice all rounder. Tight enough dispersion wise, long enough and feels good enough but to me, still not as smooth as the WBQ. Feel as we all know is subjective so take what you may from this. I also find it to be more of a swinger type shaft and does not seem to take best to step on aggressive swings. I also played around with weights at the range. Mine came a 196.1 gram head with 4gram heel and back and 2 gram toe. Tried 4 gram heel, 6 gram back and 2 gram toe and found ball flight was just a tad higher and roll not as much. Tried 4 gram heel and back and 3 gram toe. No big shakes. Am back to original 4 gramd heel and back and 2 gram toe and will leave it at that. So to conclude, the XXX and I'm gonna call her Debbie (the 60's born will maybe recall what was deemed a classic then :-), is a very nice all round performer...just not special in any one particular area except roll. Just waiting to go deep with her and hopefully that will be soon and frequent ;-) For reference, I've a 92-95mph swing speed, avg drive of 220-225 meters (approx. 241 to 247 yards), have hit the VERY OCCASIONAL (read as far and few in between) bombs (my definition) of 250-260 meters (approx. 274 - 285 yards) and driving is the worst part of my game. Swing flaws also make me a higher spinning player. Play off an 8 as of 1st Oct.

I hear you but for the blue hue to go after after just 6 weeks is bad. It rolls well don't get me wrong but when I buy a blue hue putter, it's not too much to expect it to stay blue. My machine is carbon steel in some kinda gun metal finish. No issues there at all. In any case, last byron for me. I wanted to get one to see what all the hype is about and now for me, it's way over hype.- Yamaha 2014 Inpres RMX Lineup details!
No probs. why are there so little 16/17 degree jdm uts. Sigh.- WTB : Fujikura Tour Spec PT110 Putter Shaft

I doubt 2 to 4 grams will make that much of a diff. No harm trying though.- Official TRPX Drivers and Shafts Review Thread
Based on what you say and if I am picturing it correctly, you are getting way too much spin. Hard to say if it head or shaft causing it as I know not your swing and trpx setup vs what setup has worked for you in the past.- Official TRPX Drivers and Shafts Review Thread
