  2. We are talking about it here: http://www.tourspecgolf.com/modules.php?na...p=108117#108117 THX! Joe Thanks Joe. I only wished I lived in San Francisco. I was there in 1992. That's where I bought my MP11s. Had them ever since. Should have dropped down, seen you, and had the Mizunos Kwoked!! Good luck and God bless. LOL! Come all the way to get a golf club? I hope you still w/ the same women now! :smile1: She must be made from heaven!!!
  3. That would be the right conservative approach IMO. Titleist paint is to good on handling heat, so hot rod is the best IMO. I've done a few that save the shaft to but they are all heavy weighted shaft and It took me 40 - 50 minutes ( lots of patient ) to get it out nice and clean and they are all from a tour van glue, however if you ask me honestly " would i use that shaft again?", The answer is "NO WAY". I don't thing the strenght is nearly 50%-60% from new. Just to damn risky! FYI, I usually hand pick a long nail for my hot rod and I would pick the right fat-ness of nail to fit some what only have a little play in the shaft, this way i would spread the heat evenly in a quick way. BTW, No questions is a stupid questions! Good Luck! joe

  10. I wouldn't use any wood shaft for a hybrid under 41". Watch out w/ the head weight to get the right final swing weight. These shaft will make the swing weight so light , so it will require you to adjust the head weight so much, plus when you have to tipped it that much and butt cut it after, the static weight is just way to light. Tipping for this wood shaft for a hybrid above 41" is between 2"-3". Good Luck! Joe
  11. Thread Jack! Sorry, I can't reply your PM from a PM box. I do have that shaft in stock. send me email through [email protected] we'll go from there. THX! Joe

Allow me to give my 2 cents about this as fair as possible. :smile1: Let's look at it from a product stand of view why all this company going after Fujikura (53 different kinds of shafts, 20 in Tour spec, Plus Vista tour series, Vista pro series, tour platform, Banzai, 904HB and off course tour issue shafts) and Let's look at it from what 757, six and pro 95 have done for the touring pro, how much money they make up this point w/ 757, six and pro 95?. I'm not saying other company don't. As we all know that GD made a good run at it too and now we started to see w/ a bunch new companies...But do we know how many % of this new company made the sale in the market? I can only tell you that this is a tough business to make it like what Fuji did in the US. Most of us probably didn't know that GD has a better sale in Japan than Fuji in Japan, However the biggest market is still in our US soil. Do you know how many shaft company try to make a copy of 757 because of it's success? A ton! It's all about business strategy here. Spend it on the right spot to get a return as high as possible. In term which shaft is better, IMO if the shaft fitted properly...you'll get the best club periods. Now if we are talking to a club ho like you guys  , We are only talking about time...some of you in average switching shaft and club every 1 month, others might be in 6 months. Right? Today 757 is the best , tomorrow Tour AD and next month Axiv. From my stand point of view as a clubmaker, especially me! I have no problem handling any brands and fit customers any brand if that is really fit their swing, charracter and off course their wallet. However, i must say that is easier to fit a brand that has enough option to fit all kind of customers from all kind of level. You might think that I might pussed more Fuji, Who doesn't? if you have that much shafts to chose to fit a player, especially if you are a dealer. I have enough repeatable customers that know me enough how I fit them, but that doesn't mean that i can force them to speak out here. Most of them are just not comfortable enough to post on golf forums. We are all the same in all kind of work, it's all about making money to feed the family. Off course some don't care how they do it and some do. Again! Just my 2 cents! joe

http://www.fujikurashaft.jp/speeder/spd555.../spd555lim.html On the X and XX the weight go up to around 62-63 gr. If I'm not wrong Total everything is 555 pieces, and 220 is in the US and available only R and S flex but Japan should be available all the way to XX. Anyone need it can send me email to [email protected] for a quote. Murch! Every one of my customers say the same thing too. We'll see I'm going to ask them to give us a review. The finish is just unbelievable! Joe

Speeder 555 is really make a lot of people stuned w/ a stunning 24k finish on it. Joe
  19. I hate to say this, but looking at the spec of the 553 , I would have to say UT55. The only different is the torque of the UT55 is a bit higher, but that doesn't mean anything to much IMO. The heavier version would be either the UT65 or the PM702J or Tour AD I 65. Just my 2 cents! Joe Kwok  Joe how does a utility shaft work and play in a driver? I have never tried that before but am always looking for somthing to mess with. You are right That is a utility shaft, I miss read that one. If that is the case None of the GD shaft in 50's grams is close enough to the 553. M65 is a mid kick and W50/60 series is a low - midlow kick. What do you think? Your Japanese should be better than me. Joe

I got one w/ DGSL300 spined and flo'ed and doweled. This club if you look at the face and sole practically brand new, the edge area by the cavity has a 5 rounds bag chatered. Standard lenght at D2 sw. I can bend it any lie you want. $100 shipped and insured to 48 conus. THX! Joe
  24. If I'm not wrong, That is Izawa's shaft...right?Joe Not sure on that Joe. IIRC in the previous iterations of the X Drive I think Toshi's shaft was the "Type 7" which was Tourstage's version of the 757? I find the TXD 65 S flex a tad soft for me in my X Drive 390. That is why I'm hoping the TXD 70 in X flex might be just right. Most TS/XDrive shafts I have tried seem to play soft. Maybe TS puts an "S" on the R flex from the shaft manufacturer. I hope they put a "X" on the S :smile1: If that is right! The Izawa's shaft play w/ medium tip stifness. Honestly I'm not to familiar anymore w/ TS shafts and club anymore like i used to and I don't have that many of them come to my shop for repair or reshaft. Joe
