Stunning iron set! Good luck with them

Used Ryoma - how much?
How much should I expect to pay for a used Ryoma setup? Option A is a Ryoma (not Premia version) with a crazy shaft Option B is Ryoma with a Bangvoo shaft. Both in primo condition. What is a fair price for each?

My journey on finding shaft for my Ryomasss
Wow! Where do you guys live that you're able to hit that assortment of shafts/clubs?? Ryoma not available for testing in the US, let alone with different combinations of Crazy shafts although trying to convince my fitter to carry them.

Ryoma Driver Observation
I think you need to get rid of that Ryoma driver. I am willing to take it off your hands for $200:)

Softest Jspec Iron ever
Hahah...I can feel those marshmallows...that is what bothers me about the epon

Softest Jspec Iron ever
Just funny for me that the Sasquatch sounds like a tin can and the VR sounds like persimmon...both from the same company. Both soon to be sold in preparation for new either Epon or Ryoma and still looking for that allusive spoon:)

Softest Jspec Iron ever
Didn't love it...had it installed by an authorized shotmaker dealer who said it would work in my voodoo even though Harrison recommended it would not. Rattled around after two drives. Harrison to their credit offered me up one of their shafts at cost and dropped it in there (did this one myself with the tool I purchased) and had a very dull and muted sound and not much dispersion improvement or distance. Harrison suggested I take out the insert and see how the Harrison/Nike VR combination feels without the insert and perhaps I needed a stiffer insert, but still not in love. Too much to tinker with even for a guy who likes to tinker. I should sell both the tool and insert at some stage cuz it cost me some.

Softest Jspec Iron ever
My current drivers basically suck, but get the job done. I have a Nike Sasquatch with a Proforce shaft that sounds like a big ole tin can each time I hit it. At the other end of the spectrum I have a Nike VR driver with a Harrison shaft w a shotmaker in it and it's the other extreme in that it is so muted that is sounds like a persimmon wood.

Softest Jspec Iron ever
Would be interesting to ask this group the same question on drivers. We all use the word "soft" to describe irons...what's the driver equivalent for describing best feel and what club would that be? (Can you tell I'm in the market for a new driver?!)

Softest Jspec Iron ever
I'm a decent iron striker and the 302's were a bit punishing even for me with any off center hits vs the 502 which rewarded me with that sweet pop even with toe and heel strikes. Classic case of hit it pure and you can feel goosebumbs start to appear up and down both upper and lower extremities:) With respect to the gel insert on the 502, I could care less that there is an insert and if someone had never told me there was an insert, I never would have known! All I care about is the softest irons out there and as most have said here, it's the 502's. Yes, a matter of personal taste about what constitutes "soft", but I now use my 6 iron 502 to baseline everything else out there. So far, nothing comes close. My fitter who is the largest Epon dealer in the US (might be like saying tallest midget!) has the same view incidentally.

Softest Jspec Iron ever
502's also my weapon of choice...soft, soft, soft. Made all the Miuras I tried feel very harsh and clicky. I love the marshmallow on a stick feeling. I also find that the lighter I hang onto the club, the better the hit (most clubs but espec 502).

Get fitted now or wait??
Funny fat man...just did that! Played Torrey Pines and Monarch Beach in CA and then a few courses in Vegas (Cascada being my new favorite)

Get fitted now or wait??
As most of you are aware, the NY winters will be upon us with a fury in just a few short days/weeks and I go from serious addict to complete withdrawal. That being said, I'm interested in a driver fitting and can't decide whether to do it now while my swing is in shape and having then to store the new driver in the closet for the next 4 months or so, or simply wait until spring for the fitting and a new driver. I know most of the JDM brands only come out with new product every X number of years, but would also hate to buy now and find out Epon or others are announcing some new and improved driver in the interim. Thoughts?

mystery sterling silver putter
Tiffany's used to produce a sterling silver putter and in fact made one for Bob Hope a few years back, but I would guess that the stamp would be classic Tiffany's stamp. Maybe this one??: The C. E. Probst Manufacturing Company made putters in the 1950s, casting the heads out of the precious metals gold and sterling silver. They were probably made to become gifts and expensive wall hangers. Many of them were engraved with the name of the recipient. They are actually quite playable but the soft metal was easily damaged and if played, worth was soon reduced to only the value of the metal, the actual amount of precious metal however is difficult to determine. American Golf Classics lists the value of the Probst Westpoint Sterling Putter as $1200.00 and having been owned by a famous person could increase its value. The gold version is very difficult to find.
