  1. Not JDM flavor, but the best hybrid for me has been the Bobby Jones hybrid. I think I tried most of the USDM hybrids + the Fourteen 858 and 660, the PRGR Zoom's and the Tourstage (not new model, previous model). The Bobby Jones performs best for me, very versatile....tee, fairway, and rough.
  2. Breal, Is it the Fourteen or the MTI that has the somewhat sharp leading edge?
  3. I've played the Ping MB's quite a bit....like them a lot on shots from the fairway (full and partial), but not my favorite around the greens, especially when the lie is not the best. Played a 52 Epon X wedge a bit last year, very good wedge. I moved from a 4 wedge (including pitching) to a 3 wedge setup, so the 52 was replaced by a hybrid. The new AF model is under consideration. Before you put the AF's in the bag, did you play the X wedge? If so, any comparisons?

The MTI's...leaning toward the Type D...based on info below, should I even consider the Type S 2. Fourteen (V2, V3 or J Spec) 3. Epon AF's Not much feedback yet on the MTI's. Fourteen has a great wedge reputation and the Epon's...well they are Epons. In the end, I'll probably try all 3 brands....but where do you suggest I start? Always have preferred a higher bounce wedge (sand/lob). Medium divot on good shots, with the miss being a little on the heavy side. Preferred look...tear drop shape to square, not a fan of the round look. As mentioned, where should I start, any suggestions? Any other models that I'm missing that may provide what I'm looking for? Hope everyone has a Wonderful Thanksgiving!

  6. I prefer the look of the Titleist J Spec bags much more!
  7. Every couple months I find myself searching for this post! A 2008 update would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!
  8. Hey Duffer, Not a fan of the performance or the graphics.....or both?
  9. Have you made the shaft change.....looking forward to the report!
  10. Anyone else have any feedback on the MTI's?
  11. I need "side by side" comparitive picture of this with the 460ZR....just to give me a better idea/view of it's size. This driver looks a little better every time I see it and I'm a "traditional" pear shape kind of guy!
  12. Any one have extensive playing time with the Fourteens. Any comments on the sole grind....do they suit any particular swing type (steep/sweeping) better than the other? Are they both Endo forged? Thanks for any and all feedback!!
  13. Spoon, It sounds like you have been able to demo, yes?
  14. Looking at the specs on the MTI's in the Proshop, the swingweights are listed at C9-D1, that seems awfully light, especially on the 58's. Are these swingweights typical on JDM wedges? I would guess most USDM wedges (higher lofts) would be in the D4-D6 range. Do folks here play their wedges at these swingweights?
  15. What are the cc's on the New Drivers. I have a 2007 + on its way.....always about a "day" late on the new tech or is this case, a year late!
  16. Hey big terence, Do you have the Miura PP's shafted up yet? Let us know what you think of them. I don't believe I've read a review of Passing Points!
  17. Not JDM....but the Bobby Jones Hybrids are very good! Neutrally weighted, square face. If you have problems with hybrids going left, these are worth a try. Equally good off the tee or deck. Took me awhile to even try these (did not like the look at first), but solidly in the bag.
  18. Anyone demo the MP 600 yet? What is the initial feedback?
  19. Is the EK model a similar design to the Scratch EZ-1?
  20. Aren't the Scratch AR-1's 1018 Forged?
  21. From EPON Customer Service: "Currently the upgrade shafts that are available straight from the factory are: Diamana Blue, Red and White Graphite Design Quattro Tech, PT Series Fujikura Rombax X series and V series NGS Mach Line Proto We are working on possibly adding a few other brands. An official list with full specs should be up on the site within a week or two. "

  23. WOW!!!! Thanks alot G.....I'll need to read through this a few times to fully understand.
  24. I've never heard or read of anyone playing and/or demoing the PP 9001. I would like to hear some feedback!
