Goodsie, I hope this gets worked out to your satisifaction. It is not acceptable in my eyes. I've never understood the "mystique" though, hit a few different Miura irons, I feel the irons in your "sig" are better than the Miura's I've hit. Again, good luck and keep up the good fight!

I thought one of the "Advantages" of the spin welded hosels were the tight tolerances...must not be the case or I don't understand the advantages of spin welding!

I have had both the Technity and the 208 KGX, the 208 definitely spins more.

I don't know about the custom options, but the Yamaha Tour i.f.f. is a very solid fairway wood. The stock shaft is a little light by US Standards, but plays much stiffer than most Japan OEM shafts.

Thanks again Spoon! Anyone tried heavier (95 - 115 gram) graphite shafts in either the 501's or 301's.

Anyone else demo or put into play the AD Pro's or the AD115's? Considering a AF501 set with one of these shafts. Experimenting now the UST Proforce 115's, I like the weight and feel but one problem I'm having is that occassionly ball gets up in the air and "drops"....I assume too much spin. Could the AD Pros or heavier GD's help with this problem?

Thanks Spoon! From your "Sig", it appears that you are using the 701's with steel, you must find the steel performs better for you versus either the GD or Axiv. I'm considering the 501's with a heavier graphite shaft.....considering GD AD 95, AD Pro's or the 115's or I could go with the "old" standby Nippon 1150's. I've been experimenting with the UST Proforce 115's. They feel pretty good, easier to swing late in the round. Looking for "steel like" performance in a graphite shaft. Anyone one have any insights comparing the UST 115's versus the GD or Axiv shafts?

Has anyone played/hit either the Epon AF501 or AF301 with a graphite shaft? If so, which graphite shaft? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Can anyone confirm or deny? I, like "xchangmax", thought all NS shaft come from Japan and are uniform. Also, if you play R300's and are considering the 1150's, I'd say you would be better in "r" flex 1150's. If you are looking at the 950's/1050's, then "S" flex may be ok.

Looking forward to the feedback on this combo. Were you able to order from EPON 2* flat? One of the only problems I have with the AF101 is the "stock" lie angle is too upright. What are the specs on the Fubuki?

If you are using the AF701's --- you may not need a hybrid, I'm finding that the AF701 long irons are replacing my hybrids that I had in the bag. Much more accurate and just as long, if not longer!!!
