  1. Basically you're hitting down on it, which means you're coming over the top. Do you miss straight left or slice right? The reason I say this is because of your launch angles and spin rate. Stats like that have nothing to do with ball position, it's all your "angle of attack".
  2. To me that thing looks pretty questionable, but I am definately no Scotty expert.
  3. My advice, get it on camera. Sounds like you're coming inside, and very badly if you set up on the toe and still are roofing it on the heel.
  4. The shop I go to has a new prototype shaft that was built specifically for Tiger. It's flat black and has a tiger pattern right under the grip and apparently will RETAIL for $1400 CDN. I took a few swings with it and it has absolutely no torque at all, if I had to guess I would say this thing flexed around 8.0 untipped.
  5. What kind of damage would one of those do to a visa? I mean... just out of curiousity of course. :money: :wah:
  6. That putter looks purdy but the head cover is definately a step down, and for a ho like myself that's half the joy in buying a new flat stick.
  7. I believe there is steps through ebay that you can go through to nail false advertising. I think most of these people bidding on these clubs will never realize that what they've purchased is retail. Believe me it chaps my ass too.
  8. Well it basically just boils down to the laws of supply and demand. As long as some uneducated idiot is willing to pay $800 for prerelease retail, people will sell prerelease retail for $800. It pisses educated people like us off but in the end we arn't the ones throwing our money at a "tour" club just to get one a few weeks early. For one, I am glad sites like this one exist so that more people can learn about the scams taking place on the bay.
  9. I think I'll get in on that tourney for the putter. That would definately be worth my time.
  10. First of all it has no offset like you're looking for. Second it feels great. Third I find it's more consistent that most other hybrids. I don't know what else you need to know. Try one out see how you like it yourself.
  11. Sonartec MD 19*
  12. Are those blades new or something they came out with years ago?
  13. Well if the shafts are butt trim only you will not be able to experiment with different tippings to switch flex. Basically you install the shafts, cut them to length, and whatever they come out as is what you get.
  14. Check out the pics of the grooves on my trusty in the other thread. I could pull one back miles with this wedge. :fever:
  15. If you have a quicker tempo or want to get trajectory down a heavier shaft will help. For myself I notice a more flat ball flight with lower spin rate and more roll.
  16. I vote for DUBBED!! BTW that's a Trusty Rusty. hahaha
  17. I try to let my hands "drop" to start the downswing. I've always argued that the body should naturally follow the clubhead as you "push" it through impact, therefore it should not move more than it has to.
  18. She looks good in her underwear. :-D
  19. Yeah you would close the face down but grip the club as if its square. To square the clubface up you have to come from the inside. I have another one too. Again hitting full swing pitch shots, go to the top. Then swing the clubhead at the ball and try to keep your back to the target, you won't be able to do it but it will give the feeling of coming inside.
  20. I have a couple. Take a 9-iron and close the face like 30 degrees so the toe of the club is almost pointing at your left foot. Make pitch shot so that the ball goes straight. Set-up with your left foot pulled straight back about 6 inches, take full swings trying to push the ball way out to the right. Get used to what it feels like when you hit the ball straight. If you're not coming inside enough practice dropping your hands to start the downswing, it should feel like they fall 6 inches before the rest of your body start to move. Put a quarter on the ground about 6 inches in front and 2 inches right of the ball, try to hit the quarter on your follow through. Thats about all i can think of. Should help you come nicely from the inside.
  21. Would you recommend it for a driver? I'm a high launch, high spin, high swing speed player. I really want to hit the ball flatter. I have a Grafalloy Blue in it right now and I like the trajectory I get but I can't stand the torqueness of the tip.
  22. I'm thinking about throwing this bitch in the Ignite, but only if I can get it in this pimpin red color. Do all the Tour Spec 952s come red or do I have to find someone special to get one for me?
  23. The best ball strikers all hit the ball on the heel. I hit the ball closer to the heel myself, it doesn't bother me. Just means I'm coming from the inside, which I like. As long as you're making solid contact and not hitting a repulsive amount of shanks I wouldn't worry about it.
