  1. I absolutely love it. It feels a bit more crisp that Scotty's which I like. Gets the ball rolling VERY nicely.
  2. Here's what's in play right now. We just got our news Hoofer extreme bags today so I thought I'd post pics.
  3. TourSpecGolfer - You got PM regarding Gauge Headcovers.
  4. JEEEEEESH. I might be putting my 670s up for sale to order some Mizunos. For some reason I feel that selling every club in my house would be worth it. :money:
  5. There is no C.O.R. limit for clubs other than a driver in the U.S. Have you ever hit the ERC Fusion 3-wood? I was hitting that past my driver last year.
  6. Excuse my ignorance but who is Shingo? Nice looking sticks by the way.
  7. I extended mine once and it threw the frequency off so bad, I'm not good enough to notice the difference but it drove me crazy psycologically. I ended replacing the shafts pretty quick. I think for every 1 inch of length the lie changes 3*. I could be wrong though.
  8. Looks good from here.
  9. The only problem with hitting a ball with more spin is that it will deflect more in the wind. Good luck hitting effective punch shots into the wind with those, the back spin will make the ball balloon like crazy.
  10. 200 grit sand paper is your friend.
  11. Well here's how I see it. Obviously you're coming over the top quite badly, hence the earth moving. Your MAIN goal should be to get the club on plane. If you returned the club back on plane I garuntee you would not chunk the ball ever. Just something to think about.
  12. LOL. I've been known to spank them every now and again. Swing speed with driver is 126, ball speed is 185ish. Spin rate is around 3000rpm. Swing speed with 5 iron is 104.
  13. If it's that big on an issue I would try and flatten your swing out.
  14. A hacker with a PT 13!!! NICE!!! :surprize:
  15. Is the JPX conforming?
  16. Okay, so I finally got my set put together for 06' and let me say I am fantastically pleased with the results. My goal in building this set was to build a very functional set for as cheap as I possibly could, and I think I did exactly that. I play a lot of tournaments and really just need a set that I can perform and be consistent with. In all I've probably spent around $1200-1300 CDN on this set, which by todays standards is incredibly cheap considering the price of even a good driver shaft these days. I was able to get every single club to come out at the same swingweight. I don't have grips on them yet but as for now a they are all right on E-7, not one club is off that number. As soon as I get the grips on they should all be right at D-6, which is exactly the number I was aiming for. Driver Head - Nike Ignite 410 - 8.5* Shaft - UST Proforce V2 85X - 45" Flex - 7.5 3-Wood Head - Nike T60 15* (weight added to reach 220g) Shaft - UST Proforce V2 95TX - 43" Flex - 8.0 Hybrid Head - Sonartec MD19* Shaft - UST Irod Tour CB110S (Tipped 2.25") Flex - 8.5 Irons Head - Precept Tour Premium 3-PW 3* upright Shaft - True Temper X300 +1" Flex - 8.0 Wedges Head - Vokey 252.08, 258.08 3* upright (Bent to 54* and 60* respectively) Shaft - True Temper S400 +1" Putter - I'm waiting for my Newport Mil-spec to be refinished at Putterplating, but I will post pics as soon as I get it back. I'm going to try one of those 220g True Temper putter shafts in it just for giggles. Bag - Original PING Hoofer white/black (I think I'll replace this next, I've put way to many seasons on this guy) And there you have it, my set for under $1500 CDN. Being a college student sucks, one day I'll buy all the crazy import stuff. For now this is all I need, I think it's going to work out quite well for me this year. Please excuse the quality of pics. I play golf, I don't take pictures. :tsg_smilie_whistle:
  17. Need to sell for some cash to put the new set together. Sonartec Super CV Pro 9* - Penley Stealth 70X $225 shipped obo. -the paint on the rear of the hosel is burnt off because of my stupidity with a blow torch. Does not however effect the performance of the club whatsoever, I used it like this the entire last season. Mizuno Pro 300s 9* - TT EI70 Tour S $275 shipped obo. - This is quite possibly the most beautiful driver I have ever seen/owned. In absolutely perfect shape, same driver Vijay used a few years back. Titleist 983E 7.5* - Aldila NV 75X $275 shipped obo. - No serial number (tour?). I bought this driver last fall, used it for two tournaments and bought a new driver. The head is absolutely perfect, the is a small scratch on the shaft right above the hosel from travelling with the team. Again, it's something that in no way effects performance. I was averaging well over 300 yds with this club at sea-level last fall. I also have a set of Titleist 962B 2-pw (rifle 6.5) that I would be willing to sell for $275 shipped. Please feel free to make me offers on any club, I'm currently looking for a Sonartec 19* MD or a Nike Ignite 15*. Doesn't matter what shaft. Pics are available just PM me your email address. ALL PRICES IN CANADIAN DOLLARS
  18. Mine is on the way, I'm so excited!!!
  19. How do I use the beading? Sorry but that is new to me. Should I be using the beading in all reshafts?
  20. I have two oil can vokeys that I'm replacing the shafts in, on the website it says they're .355 taper tips. Well, I ordered X100 with that tip and they wiggle around in the hosle a bit while the shafts I took out don't move at all. What is the actual tip size I don't have a gauge?
  21. Those look purdy.
  22. Man I would go crazy in a situation like that.
  23. Of course you will hit the ball further as you get older.
  24. The best way to do it is quite your lower body. Take a bit wider stance and "push" your knees outward laterally at address. As far as my swing changes, I've been trying to get my swing back on plane. To do this I've concentrated on keeping my right elbow close to my body, and not letting it get away from me at the top of the backswing.
