For the better ball striker.......which driver?
Man.....that golf course looks like a candidate for the US Open!!
-
The different irons of Gauge Design.
Everybody is entitled to an opinion......my opinion is the studio hand mades are probably the best.... however it is an individual thing. In terms of manufacture Chris or gocchin would be the best to advise. PS Rumour has it that there were only 50 sets ever made of the hand mades (most of which have been sold and purchased through the BST at Tour Spec)

What was this tourstage driver a prototype for?
I'd say the club was made 2/7/05. Good lookin club, for not much money.

Which JPGA pros use the Roddio
Probably a question for gocchin. The Roddio has been a big hit on TSG. Just interested to see which pros are using the Roddio.

Muting Driver Head
Good advice!! Thanks for the tip.

A Step Back in Time
I have a Taylor 510 from the Japanese tour van. It could do with a shaft upgrade, however its an absolute beast so far as distance is concerned. .......God knows what it would be like with a Roddio in it!!

WTB: G field 4 wood
Spoon, once you get the GFT 4 wood, it would be good to post a comparison between the GFT and he Epon.

I've always thought the G-Field 4 wood was a good choice of fairway wood......oh yeah, the rest of the bag is very schmick as well!! Thanks for posting.

What do you guys think of my grinds?
Wedges are a hot topic on the forum at the moment. The better we can make the scoring club, the better we will score.

Shaft Length for 14 clubs
A club fitter is a good place to start in terms of the legth that suits you the best. Swing weight of course is more of a feel thing. As we all know....experimenting is fun!!

Mike Austin! End of Story
515 is comendable. A little more information about the man himself would be useful.

Bettinardi Japan Black MC-3 w/PICS!
Every body has their favourites. My BB2 was on fire today in the foursomes championship. ....... enough said from Jack!!!

JDM Irons - S200 Shafts
I must say the guys and girls on the site have a soft spot for the Nippons. Personally I think they play better than the TT Dynamics......but this has been well covered in another post.

Mizuno MP-HOKKAIDO Irons w/ PICS!
I wouldn't be selling them!! Chris you are truly a very generous man to put these up. I'm sure they will be sold within the hour!!

For those of you who have purchased one of these could you do a review??

IRONS that have more bounce &/or anti dig leading edge... which ones?
I notice the raw Yururi wedges gave a similar grind on the leading edge to the Marumans.
-
Wedges with "grind"
The "grind" to which you refer, lowers the leading edge of the club without reducing the bounce. I have tinkered with this myself over the years, and the clubs do become easier to use. That said, Carlton Matsui (TBC777) and Ari Techner (Fairway Fred) are far more qualified than I to give a detailed explanation of the benefits of various grinds on a wedge. Carlton owns Chikara wedges and Ari Scratch wedges. Scratch are available in the pro shop and Chikara will be shortly. Good post!!

Epon Technity 380cc w/Pics!
460 always seems a little big to my eye. Just a personal thing. 380- 420 with a good shape is just about perfect. The Epon 380 is very, very good cosmetically in my opinion.

YuRuRi Da Vinci Wedge 1.618 w/PICS
Chris, has the golden ratio improved the golden ratio i.e. sand saves / par saves from missed greens?? If so, I think we are all keen on the golden ratio!! The wedge itself does have a certain cosmetic appeal at address. My question is the same as others ie what lofts and bounce angles does the wedge come in? I also notice there is a significant amount of Yururi creeping into your bag....very interesting!!

Top Line Pics Galore!
I'm sure everyone has a favourite among the toplines pictured above. Which one??....and why??

Mizuno Forged Irons
I am not at all surprised when I hear people are playing 10 year old Mizuno irons......"quality is remembered long after price is forgotten".
