I picked up a Taylor 510 from the Japanese Tour Van. The feel out of the middle is very close to persimmon. The real conundrum...... do you give Taylor Made the credit...... or the Japanese Tour Van. Either way I love it!!

How far do you hit a good one?? My swing speed is 108 and I can still get it out there 275 - 290 on a good drive. Just for fun I suggest you take a couple of lessons with the driver and enter the Re-Max long drive competitions. Chris (Tour Spec Golfer) is the best one to make the recommendation on shaft and head. I have a Mitsubishi Rayon TP -85 MT X-flex (out of the Japanese tour van), that I'm thinking of selling. Just too stiff for me. When I find out the cpms on this I will let you know.

Dare I say it, but it is amazing how good my clubs get after a lesson. Seems the same applies to "a crazy golfer".

Well, there have certainly been a number of combo sets over the years. I like the 4* increments, I like the finish and I like the shape. Overall I like the idea. I think you could build a great set by starting with these. Chris do you have all of these in your bag at the moment?? Certainly I would be interested in a more detailed review, as I'm sure others would be.

Man, a set of these would be good. Is there any reason they have just done a 41*??
