Review: Roddio W-6BA vs Avix V 7072
It seems to me the Axiv -V is good for the hookers. If your a slicer then his will exagerate the problem. The information is useful either way. The Roddio seems more "traditional" in that you can move the ball either way. Perhaps a good comparison would be the original Axiv against the Roddio. At the end of the day it is all HIGH QUALITY. You just need to get the RIGHT high quality.

The feel and sound of JDM Drivers
gocchin, do you know what the head weight of the Epon driver is?? I have a Taylor 510 from the Japanese tour van, and it has a heavy head which I like. Just thought you might know.....the Epon certainly is a favourite amongst the guys on the site.

Back with Epon + Roddio and friends!
Well gocchin, I never thought I would say that there is someone on this board who could rival plus 1 in the ho stakes.......but my friend you are definetly in the grand final!!

Roddio Review
DKDRaven, how do you get your hands on this suff??? Sounds like you have a real winner!! That said at 105mph, an S would be strong enough for me. Great report champ.

Which wedge set would you get out of these 3?
Agree with idrive. The 2004s look like beauties to me.

Epon 460 vs Callaway FT-5
The Epon looks like a golf club. Ultimately it is about the shaft. I think every serious golfer should go through the process of identifying the shafts that work best for them. I also believe the Japanese shafts are better in terms of research, technolgy and quality. Jack simply couldn't use an FT-5 with a hangover. Reminds him to much of the 30 JD & Coke beauty queens........

Shokosugi's bag
The Honma irons are simply beautiful. shokosugi, do you know the loft of your 5 iron? As you have said a 43* pitching wedge is very strong. I have a Bettinardi putter and swear by it. The more I play, the better the putter gets. Could we get some more photos and a performance review of your Scratch wedges. I notice the 56* is raw and the 60* is black. Is there a reason for the different finishes?? Overall a great rig!!

Happy M Day
The Mizunos are definetly great clubs, I have played the MP 11s for 15 years. Only just bought a set of the Gauge Studio Hand Mades. Just need to get them shafted up (been busy at work).

Axiv V...VS....Roddio
Ajay, I may have asked before but what is your swing speed with the driver. The Roddio is definetly getting some wraps. This may be a go for me, just need to get the right one for a swing speed of 105mph.

Wilson J-Spec Dynapower Wedge
How many wedges can one own?? You know us old blokes love our Wilson wedges.....so does Tom Watson, Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw etc etc This could end up a real winner based on the Wilson name alone.

What length driver are you playing to get maximum distance?
I would assume Chris would ask. That said most of the members are so pendantic (myself included) about their equipment it is probably not an issue. I believe however a standard length driver today is 45"....but then again what qualifies as standard??

Driver, 3 wood & UT
I like heavier shafts in my woods as well. I can't feel the head with lighter shafts or my timing is out..... definetly a feel thing. Blader -X we seem to have very similar views.

What length driver are you playing to get maximum distance?
Mines 44.5. The right length for me so far as distance and accuracy is concerned.

Coming Soon: The TSG Project...
Gooday Chris, you need a trip down under!!

Driver, 3 wood & UT
There is a line of thought as to the weight of the driver, 3 wood and UT shafts. At a very basic level: the driver has a 70g shaft the 3 wood a 80g shaft the UT a 100g shaft The question is, what do you use and why

Anyone know what this is?
I have used nomadwrx in the past as well. Good quality work. ....that said I'm still chomping at the bit for Carlton's latest creation.

Hybrids vs Fairway woods.
I think the choice between fairway wood and hybrid is an individual one. I have a 15* Honma, which is sort of half and half, and I just love it. Team that with my 20* UX 2 and my long game is sorted. Epon makes great quality product, so I'm sure their 7 wood could find a place in your bag.
