  1. Good solid bag. Any chance of some pictures of the Taylor woods??
  2. .......the course is calling......get out there and shoot the lights out...... ........and then report back on the site to the rest of us!!!
  3. The Yururi has been a hit with you Chris. I see the wedge remains in your bag. Could you provide a little more feedback on the Flat Black Blades. My next order will include the Yururi 61*.
  4. How many wedges can you find / promote??
  5. Put it in your bag or auction it on TSG. The bay certainly would not do it justice.
  6. Agree the white grip is very sexy!!

Just wanted to share. My BB2 was on song yesterday, having 3 birdies and only 26 putts for the round. I have been working on my putting a bit in recent times, but the absolute quality of the putter helps a lot. In addition, I have filled the shaft with sugar after reading the idea here on Tour Spec a while back. It just seems easier to me to make a smooth stroke with a heavy putter.

    Strong rig.
  9. .........that says it ALL really!!!
  10. Well alpha_pro, the new Tourstage bag looks good. I've said it before I wished I lived in Hawaii so Carlton could do all my work. You obviously know him quite well. Question is, have you had a sneak peak at Chikara???
  11. The truth is as we get older hopefully we have more money to spend on golf clubs. The money comes from time and dedication we spend in our occupations. 15 years ago I was playing with a mate of mine who was a plus 2. He said on a good day when the swing was in sync he could shoot even par with a stick of celery (he shot 4 under that day without raising a sweat). The truth is I wish I was 30 years younger shooting even par with a stick of celery. Can't have that.... so I might as well have BEAUTIFUL GOLF CLUBS.
  12. I've always felt the best wedges Titleist have ever done, were the forged models of maybe ten years ago. I have the DL3 54* and the DD 59* and they are much better than the Vokeys IMHO.

This would probably have been covered in detail else where, however what is the basic difference between he original Axiv and the Axiv V. I understand the Axiv V takes out the left side of the fairway, but what characteristic in the shaft does this? The bad shot with the existing driver shaft is a big block cut. The existing shaft is a TP 85MT Mitsubishi Rayon. The cpms on this is 261, however it feels a lot stiffer. A good swing, normally gets it out there 270 to 280. My swing speed with the driver last time it was measured was 108mph. This may be a bit of a thread jack, however I too am interested in the Axivs. Same deal as Big Ben, I just want to get the right one.
  14. Just been looking in the pro shop and saw these. They look good. Has anyone had a hit with these??
  15. I eagerly await your report!!
  16. It would be fair to say looking at the various bags on the site, some run with 52/58 while others run with 52/56/60. There are plusses and minuses to both set ups. 52/56/60 provides additional options around the green. 52/58 allows an extra club in the bag, probably a second utility or a 3 iron. I've been a 52/56/60 for a long time, but my thinking is starting to change, particularly in light of what Carlton can do with a 58*. Frankly I'm just interested in the views of others and the reasons for their particular set up.
  17. I look forward to the report next Thursday evening.
  18. Keen, I'm very interested in your views on the 61* you have just purchased. Personally I prefer the look and grind of the Gekku raw black.
  19. There is a school of thought that your 3 wood shaft should be 10 grams heavier than your driver shaft ie 70g driver shaft 80g 3 wood shaft. This probaly doesn't help with brand selection, however it may be a consideration.
  20. gocchin, I know you love golf. But man, you have been playing less than a year and already know more than 99.9% of the global population about JDM equipment. You must have an IQ of 160+. More importantly, now the weather is conducive get out to the course and wear those babies out!! I'm sure with your dedication you will be down to single figures in no time. Keep up the good work on the site, we all love your posts.
  21. ......well they used to have car shows for the hot cars. ......Chris may very well need to have a club show for the hot clubs. These clubs look just fantastic in the day light. I guess the show cars don't get driven very often. I am inclined to agree with Chris, it would seem a pity to actually hit a ball with these!!
  22. Simply class!!
  23. Pretty sexy, although I think we all wait with baited breath for Carlton's offering.
