  1. Gocchin, any opinions on the NSPro SD graphite shafts at this stage?? The Mizuno 500 cc driver sounds interesting, however I thought the legal limit was 460.
  2. They look top notch to me. Do they make a 59* or 60* lob wedge??
  3. Man, that's a beautiful rig!! How are those wedges treating you?? Keep us all posted when the new goodies arrive. What are you getting??
  4. I haven't heard of it.
  5. Gocchin, I have more wedges than you are legally allowed to carry, and I feel some of the other clubs need to make it into the bag (laugh at me). I'm still looking for the one that can prevent my chilli dips from 30 yards!!

    ....me too!!!
  7. Well done!! Thanks for the feedback.
  8. Beautiful!!! What else needs to be said???
  9. Nice rig! Firstly how do the Bobby Jones woods play? They look pretty good, but I've never seen a review on them. Secondly the G-Field irons. I'm still considering a new set of irons, and the G-Fields seem to be the current gun. How do they play for you? What weight are the Accra tour steel and how do they compare with the Nippons, DGs and Rifles?? Just a couple of questions, however your bag is pretty snazzi!!
  10. Absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Everybody is entitled to experiment!!
  11. Driver: Taylor Made R 510 {from the Japanese tour van (and recently acquired)} Woods: Honma twin marks dual attack (the classic pear shape is irresistable for me) Utility: I suspect Mizuno or PRGR Irons: Mizuno, G-Field / Gauge Wedges: Bettinardi, Gauge / G-Field Putter: Bettinardi That said the Epon driver appears to be the ants pants by those reviewing it on the site. The comment made about it being a 5 series Taylor on steriods is very encouraging and also very tempting. The Homna is not a newie, but a ripper none the less. I need a new utility. Mizuno has stood the test of time and basically produces great irons. I think Gauge / G-Field is the hier apparent. Wedges ditto irons (although there is a soft spot for the domestic Wilson wedges) Putting is very individual, however I enjoy my BB2.
  12. Well it's a new year, and my first nomination for Ho of the year is SPUS. Man, that is some absolutely fantastic stuff you have.
  13. .... and happy new year to you Gocchin. May your exceptional reporting continue forever. Happy new year and happy hoing to ALL others!!!
  14. I'm not getting any pics on my end.
  15. Phillip Alexander replied to plus1's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Can'y wait for the full report!! (however I can't see the pictures at my end)
  16. In a photo finish, the white bag and clubs. :tsg_smilie_cool: :tsg_smilie_cool:
  17. I've lost count of the number of wedges I have, but that is the weak part of my game. There is far more sanity around everything else in the bag. That said I recently acquired a TM 510 from the Japanese tour van. I think it's the ducks guts, however I have to acknowledge the Epon 460 must be something special.
  18. :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: Well man it's Christmas. If you can't look after yourself, who else will!!! On a more serious note, I see you have gone for two utilities a 21* and 24*. This is somewhat reminicant of some of the Japanese tour pro bags featured in other threads on the site. I notice that your wedges are 52* and 58*. I just wonder what the lofts are on the irons?? Do the Black Golds play stiff to flex?? This is a particularly good bag for me, not just because of the quality of the clubs but also the thought that has gone in to selecting the particular clubs to go into the bag. I still like the choice of the G-Field 16* 4 wood, and obviously it is a favourite as it has been in the bag a while. Oh yeah....I agree with everyone else, those wood covers are real snazzi! At the end of the day, simply superb....and a bag set up with scoring in mind...WELL DONE :tsg_smilie_wink:
  19. Merry Christmas to all. May Jack Daniels be supported unresponsibly (this is the best way I know to turn 99 into 69), may plus 1 have a least one Guiness for every member of the site, may one of Ari's wedges win a major next year and may Chris' business continue to enjoy the success it so richly deserves. Lots of love, Jack
  20. I have a used Gauge GAS1 58*. Used, but not abused. PM me if interested and we can discuss price.
  21. :tsg_smilie_cool: Some pictures would be fantastic!! :tsg_smilie_cool:
  22. I like my old Honma Twin Marks Dual Attack 15*. The Gauge also looks good. Probably haven't been much help, but I thought I put in my 2 cents worth. :tsg_smilie_wink:
  23. The Mizuno S30s seem to have played hide and seek with me for along time. I think the TN 87s were just great. I did manage to purchase a Honma Twin Marks Dual Attack 15*. It is a real beauty. :tsg_smilie_wah: If you really want to cry, just look in a Japanese tour players bag, particularly the ones with a Japanese club sponsor. I've seen inside a couple of the Japanese Mizuno Pros, and you won't find the gear any where.
  24. The cavity on the Taylor irons, bares a resemblance to the Scratch AR-1s. Just an observation. Overall a beutiful set, which I'm sure much time, love and :tsg_smilie_money3: went into.
