Nippon Shafts 1150 Vs 1050
  We all differ in swing speed, and subsequently require different shaft flex, however one thing is comming through loud and clear the 1150 is a GR888T shaft.

scratch wedges vs gauge design jpn
lance the black face rusts, but the rest of the silver head doesnt! i find that the rust can give me unreal spin, however if you are to clean out the rust and the grooves the spin is superb! i too was worried that i would have yet another set of beastly looking rusty wedges....but not with these! they ive the great characteristics of a rusty but maintain the clean look of a chrome/satin!   Here, here plus 1

Does it really take a lab to find the C.O.G and sweet spot?
:surprize: This is EXACTLY why we love the Japanese, and WHY we love their golf clubs. I wouldn't be racing out to buy the machine either, however I'm glad the Japanese have it and glad their using it. Having seem some literature in the past on the technology Mizuno has created to test golfers swings and subsequently customize their clubs, I say more power to the people coming up with this stuff! BTW I think this why we love this site. It's definetly ahead of the pack.

 Well "Yes Sir" Seem to remember Nicklaus winning the 1986 Masters, with a big McGregor putter. That eagle put on 15, Sunday afternoon is one of the most famous shots in golf. I think this putter is worthy of investigation. Chris have you received your invitation for next years Masters?

sand filled putter shaft
    Well guys I have got to say my clubmaker was somewhat sceptical about the idea of putting sugar in the shaft of a putter. However he is a good bloke, and we did it anyway. What the hell, you could just redo it and get rid of the sugar. The first benefit to doing this was the previous evening I decided that the sugar need to be sealed with a cork. What else was I to do but open a great bottle of Australian red wine, so I could have a cork. The cork did need to be whitled down a bit, but that was ok. The second benefit was that just after installation you could still smell the red through the butt of the grip. I went to the course to try my sugared Bettinardi. Let me say at the outset that Robert Bettinardi makes very good putters. I use the BB2, and if you're a real purist there should be room in your collection for one traditional blade putter. I had a few putts on the practice green and noticed that the distance control was better than it had been, although it had never been poor it improved. Off to the course. The distance control was even better on the course. The round is going ok, then I make an eight footer for birdie on the ninth. A couple of routine pars on 10 & 11. 12 a short par 4. I hit it in the frog hair, twenty five feet from the stick and then make the put for eagle. Now let me tell you, the putter now feels more stable in my hands, somehow the sweetspot on the putter feels bigger and better, and of course the shaft feels unbelievable solid. I know I've raved on, however I would suggest to everybody to give this a go

Adidas Staff Bag
 Adidas hasn't done their market research properly, if they had they would have doubled up on black, and only made a small number of the white ones. Guys, my recommendation is to wait and get what you really want. I'm sure those who are interested in white, a special is just around the corner, probably funded by Adidas.

:wah: :wah: :wah: Ari, you're just killing me. As we discussed in via email the weakest part of my game is the 20 - 50 yard chip. Man if I lived anywhere in the states I would drive for hours to come and see you!! I believe your offering to be of the highest quality, and based on the time and effort you put in to each client good value for money. If ever I am in continental USA, I will make the trip to see you. Keep up the good work!!

Hard step, soft step etc
Guys just looking for some feedback. I understand the idea of soft stepped and hard stepped in the Nippons. I hate to compare the Nippons with the DGs and I understand it is a completely different shaft, however is the following analogy accurate? Nippons stiff flex, approximately DG s300 Nippon stiff flex hard stepped, approximately DG s400 Nippon stiff flex soft stepped, approximatley DG s200 Nippon x flex, approximately, DG x100 Nippon x flex soft stepped, approximately DG s400 What is the ramification of cutting the butt end on these. The reason for the question is the rifles play stiffer if they are over length, but I do not believe this to be the case with the Nippons. All fedback is appreciated. :smile2:
