Well we are going to have a similar situation... I'll be going back to school in Philly torwards the end of March and she's is stuck down here for the time being... we'll have to see how things work out. Oh man I see it coming already... when I saw my 9i doing a 5yrd move left I decided maybe we'll keep the driver in the bag... as a matter of fact I didn't even take out a wood... I am going with that learn from the green back to the tee. I have finally realized that as long as I am putting it in play my driving is irrelevant. Evidence being hitting every single FW for an average distance of about 240 and still posting a big score in my last round.

hey hey guys... sorry about being gone... between Valentines Day and a nasty stomach virus I have been busy... I did get out Friday to hit some balls... I am hitting like crap! the Driver espeically... I think its this swing change I made but man was I sucking... I even put a nice nick on the top from a skyball!!!! Uhg I hate that!! Gotta get some more range time in get things back together... When I did connect with my irons I was atleast a whole club longer. If I can perform like that consistently with my irons I'll be just about regular with my iron distances... now I'll be able to join in those conversations about club selection and what not... its been real weird to out drive most of my foursome and then take 2 extra clubs on par threes. Probably my problem was my swing getting too long again. That always creeps up on me when I make a change... plus seeing all that John Daly coverage didn't help. hehe Stomach Virus has got you off balance - weight loss ? - also pull the arrow out that Cupide shot you with and use it as an alignment aid :D man I probably lost some serious wieght... my pants are hangin on my hips by a hope and a prayer. I was thinking of trying that arrow shaft in my three wood... anyone know the specs on it... its got TP graphics?

You could get them shipped to the states and pick 'em up when you hit Vegas. There goes that[/i] excuse for the lack of ho-ing. Only problem would be explaining another set of clubs showing up to the girlfriend. Holding them for someone else is one of the few excuses I've never used so it might just work. :lol: Just use iron covers on everything all the time... 3 sets 4 sets... yah really can't tell...

I am sorry but unless its a blade I will never buy a Titleist iron again. DCI's treated me bad and so did the 690 CB's. I would really like to put Titleist irons in my bag but the 690's were too chunky looking, hopefully the 740's hit the Atkins diet.

Now you and AK have one and I feel like the poor older brother to you two guys :lol: I still only have a Titleist carry bag , so I guess I'll just have to soldier on without for now :( :lol: yeah your also lacking the TM 300's to go inside... but we appreciate your individualism... I had to get it, when I went to the store and saw it for $229 I felt like I was being ripped off not to buy it. For that reason and only that reason I'll noy pick on you for going to the dark side :lol: Will have to get rid of a least 2 sets of the blades I have now before I could even think about getting a set of the 300's . Plus I haven't seen to many sets that come with a 2 iron and I try to make sure all of my sets have one . Use it off the tee on a lot of holes where I play . I just sold my futura so this wasn't really a negative in the cash catagory. I am still ahead a few buck on that transaction.

just go to Home Depot and ask for a clean drying epoxy... they whould be able to help you... I don't think shaft epoxy is known for its optical clarity.

well I did boys... I pulled the trigger on staff bag... got the $120 TM bag from TGW. Can't wait to get it and fill it up with all my stuff! I'm going to keep my cart gloves in their even in the summer!! When it gets here I am going to get like a million tee's so that way I never run out!! HEHEHEHE I'm just going to fill it up with crap because I can!! I also purchased a white and a blue TW ignite hat to go allong with my black TW one hat... those flex fits are sooo comfortable. I am not even that much a of Tiger fan, I just dig the hats.

I have a new mission and I am hoping the gutter gang can back me... I want to get Chris to get some TSG hats made... specifically a Black Nike FlexFit with the golfer swing logo on the front and TourSpecGolf.com on the side and the swoosh on the back... The TW Nike One hat is a flex fit... I love that hat! SOOOOOO COMFORTABLE

well the fade is gone.... not coming back... I was swinging all left handed, chicken wingin' through impact. Now I am coming through with the right, keeping my left elbow straight, allowing the wrists to turn over... I am doing it right. the difficulty is over the year I have built up so many glitches to try to help close the face down even though my swing wouldn't allow it. A lot of it is probably my grip... my teacher (who I haven't seen in eons) always told me I needed to rehab my grip b/c as soon as I started swingning correctly I would start hooking the piss out of it... she was right. I just need to grow into this swing change... I think I might get some more distance out of this too. Before it was like I was bunting the ball, but now I am letting the clubhead come through the ball... Damn I need more range time!!

Good too hear you kinda of like it :) -- is it fading for you or same as the stock shaft. Personally you will see more consistent results. Also - did the installer do a full insert ? yeah we went full on it, which was a great choice b/c I have a feeling without that extra 1" it would have felt like a noodle. I actually corrected a huge swing flaw and now and I drawing to hooking everything. I wasn't letting my hands cross over at impact instead I was breaking down the left elbow... which would leave the club face open. So I went from a 5 yrd fade to a 20yrd hook. It'll just take some work to clean up some of the habits I had to keep my fade at bay.

well I got the Prolite out on the range... its not the answer to all my prayers but it is soooooooooo much better than that telephone pole I had in my driver. I hadn't swung a club in 2 weeks so the swing was a little rusty so I don't feel I can give the best review right now but I will say that I love the weight and the torque gives it a nice release feeling. And the winn grip is really really sweet, if only they could make those things to last longer. Unfortunately it kicks it a little higher than the old POS... not really ballooning but no roll... I'm going to hang on to this a little longer and give it a full month or so to prove itself.

If he doesn't want a lot of money for the 757 pull , you might as well try it . Who know's might end up being your Holy Grail shaft :) He had a ton of pulled shafts just laying around... I am going to test the Prolite tonight and then give him a call in a few days... maybe he has something else interesting he'd like to throw in... I was showing me a 757 that he pulled for someone that was straight off the tour van. He definitly knew his stuff about tour specs and all that... I am definitly going to have to butter this guy up a bit he seems to be a good friend to have! If this guy is real friendly about the shafts I may have to pick up a 9.5 983K to experiment with.

So I tried out this new clubmaker for the AK's Prolite install in my driver after the last shop had to take 3 tries at reshafting my 3w. The guy was a little crazy... too much epoxy fumes but seemed to know his stuff. He did it while I waited which was real cool! He suggested to go with a full insert to help me kep my ball down a little. We were shooting the s**t while he worked he was really talking up the UST shafts. He had a ton of pulls just laying around... I think I might try to get him to throw a 757 in my 3w.
