TM 200 ridgie with a GD 9.1 - read my review. Sorry mine is not for sale but I am sure someone has one to sell. You can get one for a fair price for a tour club and with the 9.1 shaft I cannot complain - Easy off the deck and long off the tee. My swing speed is an avg of 104.

Lies are important also - additionally next time you are on therange just put some electrical tape on the face of the iron and check impact. Make sure you are not hitting near the toe.

Mike, Compare the lofts and the lies to what you played before. Check impact with electrical tape.

Never even used an apple are they really that much better - The only people that I know that use them are in the graphic arts business or photgraphy.

One more -- if you all can stand it. If you have a used set of Z101's (or any other iron for that matter) refinished, sanded tumbled, copper underlay and done in satin finish. I know the weight will be off but................ Will the feel be the same as it was originally ?

Mike Keep going - need some close ups of all the clubs especially the wedges. How do you like the finish and are the wearing already ? The release series shafts match the 200's finish perfectly - I was reluctant in pulling the 27.3 out of my ridgie.

O.K. for me it boils down to money. I saw pics of the satins 300's and agree they are sweet. I love my retail 300's and have not hit the 300 tours. $900 for tours - possible $2G's for tours = another fur coat for mama -and it is not going to happen this year. :cry:

I agree with Pete - All depends on the $$$ you want to spend and the cool factor. Let's see even with my reshaft I only have about $475 into my irons. $2K for a set of irons - I would assume to just go full custom with a set of scratch.

AK if I remember right it is about 5 +/- hours Portland to Bandon . But if you were to time it right and lets say you were the only one coming in by plane at that time I'm sure I could pick you up as I have to drive right through Portland anyways . :) If not we do have a member of the site that lives in Vancouver WA who moght be interested also in attending . Next time I talk to him will bring it up . Accomodations at Bandon Dunes are also quite expensive . Thats why I included that hotel/motel thing in the post . Mike - how many people are you expecting - my guess is three fouresomes - I may be out of line with my guess but I find it hard to coordinate more individuals than that for a few days of golf. Speaking of which how many days are you thinking ?

I have a group of freinds that go evrey October - they absolutely love it. The biggest problem IMO is the cost of flight and the avilability of flights from Portland to Bandon. If you have enough people flying out of Portland to the resort - I am sure a group discount could be arranged. Mike how far of a drive is it from Portland to Bandon ? If we do a trip I think lodging should have it's options - some may want to stay on the premises others may not. I think it would be intersting to see how many people have a sincere interest. If it is mid to late October - I would have an interest.
