  1. He took the bait - line and sinker. :D :D I hate those pic.s above  I must not buy, must not buy, must not buy. :D Hell ---I need a fix ;ukliam2
  2. Duf, Besides a compressor what else do you need to do the job - sounds interesting - never tried it.
  3. Well we are way off topic - I should have played Saturday.
  4. Well when you are ready - give a little expansion as to process then specifics-like flex and length of the driver - tipped-untipped - same with the irons. Finally how much pixie dust did he sprinkle on them :D
  5. Would you be willing to do some undercover first hand fact finding work? 8O :P I could see how that could be a really difficult thing to force yourself to do so I'd appreciate the sacrifice. Mike and I were talking about trying to throw together a Bandon thing. Is that too far for you non-west coasters to travel? I have freinds that go evrey Fall. The organizer belongs to the Dunes in Michigan - Kaiser's first baby. I would have an interest in either fall or next early spring. Portland is suppose to have some of the best peeler joints. :D Lastly - I should go visit my brother in law next fall. Need to stock up - he is a pharmacist.
  6. Strip Joint = expensive habit. I have a buddy that doesn't think twice laying down $1K a night in the joint. I myself wake up with regrets. My brother-in-law lives outside of Vegas in Arizona - but knows of a couple of joints that are fair priced an well serving - if you need info. I would be more than happy to inquire.
  7. Holy Smoly - I do apologize - I must have lost my mind. A freind tells me Dallas has some 1st, class clubs - with swiming pools out back where the gals catch a tan while the boys come in for lunch. Yummy - I could feel my pocket book getting lighter just thinking about it.
  8. Welcome back - you know that we/ I will be quizing you on your new sig as to swing weights and dowels, shaft choices in fairway woods, etc. when you get a chance to catch your breath. If Pete opens a peeler joint I will be the first one to apply for a bartenders job - I hope my wife and kids don't miss me too much.
  9. O.k. I bite, what is a peeler joint? Strip Joint ! I thought your were Canadian - All my freinds in TO call them that.
  10. How where the conditions - I know that the price is right this time of year. Did they mow the greens ?
  11. Mike just PM'd me to tell me to shut up -as he was to tired to deal with my BS. :D That drive has to be a pain in the a$$ !
  12. One 9 pound steelhead after the inch of snow on Sunday :D
  13. Jerry to the rescue - sorry I ment CFT :D It is going good. Played Whittaker Woods/ Swamp last Friday no one there until about 1:00 - played four balls off each tee for 21 holes - man I am still hurting. A Redamack's burger and a few greenies never tasted so good - you have to love Michigan. Passed through G.R. the week before on my way to the fishing hole. We need to hook up this summer. I can only find the Hogan's with a regular flex shaft - so I may pull the trigger and put my spare PX shaft in or a DG shaft - what are your thoughts ? I have a PX shaft for a 2 iron and a s300 for a 3 iron laying around. I want to get the 21* CFT - to replace my 3 iron. The TM TP Mid is awesome but will get a GD 9.1 installed tonight.
  14. Hey - anyone down here ! It is starting to get a little moldy down here. Pete and Mike disappear for a week or two and the basement falls apart. Actually - I heard rumor that Mike started his own Board - www.HappyCanadianGolferinAmerica.com :D As to Pete I heard he sold his clubs for more $$$ to open a new peeler joint in British Columbia with a head shop in the back - I hope he doesn't charge me a cover when I get there :D
  15. What size shaft comes in the steel hogan hybrids ? Taper or Parallel ?
  16. I did tip my 65S about 3/4 of an inch to compensate for the shallow insert. You will not know until you try it - do not look back on your purchase and give us a good report back.
  17. Any idea if the balck heads are out ??? - I willl probably pick up a 10.5*. Now just to figure out what shaft to put in it ! Maybe a little experiment with a NV 55.
  18. Very good reviews - thank you - my plan was to get one as a back up, but it sounds like it may become a primary. Anyone know whether the faqce is closed or open on a 355 and a 395 ? Thanks to all.
  19. Can anyone give me a comparison: Setup, Sound, workability, forgivness, etc……

I had the regular-no dot CB's and they appeared thicker than the 300's. I love my 300's but was just curious.
  21. PM sent I will take one.
  22. This thread deserves a bump - because it works. Next time you re grip give it a try - you will not regret it, and the materials will cost you less than your grips.

Which cavity back iron has the thinest line ? I just compared my TM 300's to a MP 30 and definetly like the look of the thiner line ofa MP 30.
  24. Interested in both, but as of yet have only tried a tour. I wish Miura and Tourstage had demo days :D
  25. I always considered myself as a hitter but I do not take divots. In the last four weeks I have concentrated on hitting down on the ball more. Finally got out last Friday - and while it was wet I relly concentrated on hitting down and through while taking a good size divot. Anyone have this problem. Is not taking a divot a true problem ?
