Well we are going to have a similar situation... hey hey guys... sorry about being gone... between Valentines Day and a nasty stomach virus I have been busy... I did get out Friday to hit some balls... I am hitting like crap! the Driver espeically... I think its this swing change I made but man was I sucking... I even put a nice nick on the top from a skyball!!!! Uhg I hate that!! Gotta get some more range time in get things back together... When I did connect with my irons I was atleast a whole club longer. If I can perform like that consistently with my irons I'll be just about regular with my iron distances... now I'll be able to join in those conversations about club selection and what not... its been real weird to out drive most of my foursome and then take 2 extra clubs on par threes. Probably my problem was my swing getting too long again. That always creeps up on me when I make a change... plus seeing all that John Daly coverage didn't help. hehe Stomach Virus has got you off balance - weight loss ? - also pull the arrow out that Cupide shot you with and use it as an alignment aid :D

Al -are you using the hybrid shaft or tipping a regular wood shaft for your rescues ? If a hybrid where are you picking up the shafts.

I am sorry but unless its a blade I will never buy a Titleist iron again. DCI's treated me bad and so did the 690 CB's.

Now you and AK have one and I feel like the poor older brother to you two guys :lol: I still only have a Titleist carry bag , so I guess I'll just have to soldier on without for now :( :lol: yeah your also lacking the TM 300's to go inside... but we appreciate your individualism... I had to get it, when I went to the store and saw it for $229 I felt like I was being ripped off not to buy it. For that reason and only that reason I'll noy pick on you for going to the dark side :lol: Will have to get rid of a least 2 sets of the blades I have now before I could even think about getting a set of the 300's . Plus I haven't seen to many sets that come with a 2 iron and I try to make sure all of my sets have one . Use it off the tee on a lot of holes where I play . I just sold my futura so this wasn't really a negative in the cash catagory. I am still ahead a few buck on that transaction. I would hope so . After just posting about the fact I don't see that many sets 2-pw of the 300's , I go to eBay and there is a set :( Only problem I ca see is that he will only ship bt courier and I can't have that for as I only have Postal Box number for a address and couriers will not deliver to them up here :( Plus like I said will have to get rid of at least 2 sets of blades before I can even think about getting a set of 300's . Actually Mike you should go with the RAC combo's - that way you won't miss your blades so much.

Shipping is fast about three days. They are nice.

Make sure your head is not moving up. It is one thing to stay behind the ball but some people have a tendency to lift themselves out of position at impact. I know this is my problem when I start to thin it. You may have someone hold the butt end of the shaft above your head to see if this is the problem. Stay loose, stretch and concentrate on your tempo - winter sucks !

I believ it is 3 inches - Depending on how stiff you want it to play, you caan insert as far as you like.

Chris ... I also suffer from pulls - one thing that has worked is placing your right hand on top of the left and hitting balls - this lengthens your swing and also helps you relieve tension - at least for me. The pulls are terrible - I have suffered with it for the last three years until I started reading this forum. One last thing alwaysw go back to the basics - club alignment for me was the biggest key - it was like I saw God. I was meesing around with one of my new irons one day in the Kitche where we have hardwood floors - I plased teh club in line with one fo the grooves in the floor and got into my hitting position and noticed like I had the club more open - actually it was sqaure instead of closed. A little thing turned into accuracy.

My weekend was spent chasing three kids 8.5 ,7, and 5 all over the ski slopes in Wisconsisn. Man my calves still hurt, from pulling my 5 year old son around. He was very good for stoping in an area where the gradient ran out and then I would have to schuss him to the lift. Talk about a work out. It was well worth it tough - frozen smiles are priceless. :D

Off topic While it is 33 deg. outside I just got done BBQ some awesome baby back ribs. Anyone into BBQ - any good recipes ? My favorite BBQ book is by Steve Reichlem (sp).
