Graphite Design
the QT has a low kickpoint,,, when you come steeper, you dont help... its likely to kick the ball up in the air. the PT-8 willwork better... for reference, i have the Qt75s in an epon 13.5* and the pt-7 in the gfield 3 wood.... the epon goes relatively higher (even though the gfield has a shallower face)...... its the shaft kickpoint

For the better ball striker.......which driver?
I have to say I am very impressed with the MPcraft 425.... very solid... it was a tad longer than the epon and xdrive.... Also, like the rombax 7x07 shaft in it...but a couple of the balls ballooned. could be the tee height given the face is not as deep as the epon / xdrive... more to follow after a few rounds...

For the better ball striker.......which driver?
WOW! the mpcraft 425 has to be the most solid looking driver ever... possibly the compact size.... on to the course tomorrow...

The Ultimate Stroke Saver??
i have seen it by people who can't chip even if their life depended on it..... usually the rest of the game is not that great too..... not sure if its worth replacing another club for it.

For the better ball striker.......which driver?
QUOTE(ajaykkr @ Jul 28 2007, 05:58 PM) http://www.minisceongogolfclub.com/minisceongo-facts.cfm it is tough... but fun... requires concenration on every shot or it can easily turn into double, triple, quad bogeys.

For the better ball striker.......which driver?
point taken, but as I mentioned i already own the epon 460 and the xdrive 460... looking for suggestions for other drivers in the same league....my clubs are built the way I want, square and standard lie and 45" length with Roddio shafts....

For the better ball striker.......which driver?
No real reason.... I have had the epon 460 for all season and then i happened to get a great deal on the xdrive 460 and i like the driver as much as the epon... and I have not noticed any difference between the two in terms of the need for forgivenesss.....both are great drivers.simply the best I have ever played and its always a touch toss up on what to play on a given day.. Just trying to see if there is anything else in the same league.....

For the better ball striker.......which driver?
Thanks, very helpful.... 1) Is the xdrive 460 considered more of an "Athlete" model than the MP Craft 425 or less? 2) Distance is important, but for me accuracy is equally important.. I want to be able to aim the driver at a line/point and land within a few yards of that line. Also, I am not so enthused by Srixon..

For the better ball striker.......which driver?
I have the Epon 460 and the xdrive 460...... my natural shot is straight which turns into a fade when i go after it with the ocassional slice thrown in when i give it all I got.... average carry is 240-250 yards.... avg distance is 260-265 yards with the ocassional 290-300 yard drives... if I am not focused on fade biased drivers... what other driver heads I should consider trying... I am a single digit handicapper with most rounds in high 70s (read 79) and low 80s on a course rated 74.5/148.... I am looking for square faces...... only criteria is that they need to be as good as the above two ( i love those)

Epon Technity 3 Wood Initial Impressions
I now have two of the 13.5s with Quattro tech 75s (main bag and backup bag). but I also have the GFT 3 wood and the royal collection type HII. All three of these 3 woods are excellent. the epon gets the edge for me, but may not for you. point is there are atleast three 3 woods that are very good, perhaps more that I have not tried. so get one that works for you and do urself a favor. but a word of caution...all 3 are for the better ball striker.....

Shaft advice for new driver
my bad ball is to the right, strong fade or slice....good shots were straight. hardly ever hooked it but i went with the roddio WA series as I know i can aim down the left side of the fairway, good swings go straight, not so good swings fade to the centre and really bad ones go to the right side of the fairway or in the right rough, but very playable.. I did try the BA series, it did help me draw the ball, but the bad shot was to the right again... even if hit down the centre, wasn't sure where it will land. point is, once you get the right flex, think what you really want to do on not so ok swings and good swings, then pick the roddio shaft that helps you do it... looks like the WA series could work for you too, provided you are ok with aiming down the left or left centre of the fairway.

Which camp are you from?
same here.... it just happens to be in the right place after I take my stance... Only time I do is when I deliberately want to hit a low running shot and then I don't align, but just move it back by an inch or so.

Epon Technity 380cc w/Pics!
The reason I have not posted a review is that I have not played my home course with this driver......so cannot compare it with the gamer....epon 460 cc with roddio... But i played with it at bethpage black....and it worked out very well.... didn't really notice any difference in ballflights,,,carry etc...its not as long as the 460cc, sometimes shorter by 10-15 yards (shorter because of the shaft length ...44" in 380 cc vs 45" in 460 cc). this has to be confirmed by playing with it at my home course where I know my averages on each hole very well, so easily compared... I like the shorter shaft...just easier to swing and gives more confidence... My only concern is the flex of the shaft its W-6BA SR flex while i think i need a stiff flex...(similar to my gamer)...
