  1. How about no name, just Robbie's Avatar?
  2. Blader-X replied to Blader-X's post in a topic in Buy, Sell, & Trade
Fourteen is sold. Yururi still available.
  3. The tightness of all those trees reminds me of one of my favorite courses; Sierra Star Golf up in Mammoth Lakes, Ca. Love that course and play it every time I'm up there. Just love heavily forrested courses. Now all I need is more true links courses over here. Thanks for sharing Stew.
  4. Good to hear. Yea I second the nomination for the SF line from Graphite Design. The most underrated shaft in existence. Was interested in your experiment as I need an excuse to get one of the new RC TX line fairways, but I need another fairway like I need a incurable disease. Oh wait, I've got an incurable disease, its called JDM-mylitis.
  5. Carlo, So update us man, hows the 4 wood working out for you in the bag?
  6. That's exactly what I find with the Yonex 380. The GD P9003x goes a long way to help with that but this combo really sends the ball out on a tight line.
  7. Is this Ryoma a 9.5? or 8.5? Pondering myself that maybe its time to have a Ryoma just to complete the four horseman of drivers (for me). Thinking as well maybe its time to see that this Crazy shaft lunacy is all about as well.
  8. Possibly using catalog heads?
  9. Well as Lebron said, "its about damn time!" What's it been two weeks since you dismantled a perfectly good driver and swapped a few shafts in it? I'd been getting bored re-reading all the same old posts.! Not sure if I'm ready to follow you though on the shorter shaft concept. I play 46.25" in the Yonex and Epon 102 and will have the Kamui built at that as well. For me it works, but if it doesn't with the Kamui, I'll of course cut it down a little.
  10. Yea I had these shafts in x-stiff in an earlier X-blade model years back which also started myself into JDM. Still have the shafts.
  11. Those truly are PERSONAL Personals !!!
  12. Why do you keep doing this to me. You know my penchant for blades and these really are beautiful. I'm trying to tell myself they're too chunky for my tastes so I won't be tempted but you still keep posting all these new pics. Yea, keep 'um coming! MUST RESIST!!!
  13. Well, if you're looking for another name, I'd say: Satori basically its meaning is "enlightenment"
  14. I wouldn't be surprised if he's not the only one. That is good news for JDM especially Crazy. I've got to be the only one here who hasn't gamed them yet. My reason was I got wind that a lot of them were breaking early on, but I don't think that's the case much longer as I haven't heard of that of late. Probably the other reason is if I did try them, I might fall in love all over again and want to change out all my shafts, which my pocketbook would hate me for. Sooner or later, I'll get a driver built with a Crazy shaft. Even though I've yet to game one, I folllow the discussion intently and with Stew changing driver/shaft combos like a new mom changing diapers, we all have lots of info to read here!!

    PM sent to you David.
  17. Yea, the C-tapers have intrigued me for awhile. I don't use my 9 any longer since the Titleist 46 replaced it and my PW, so maybe I'll have a C-Taper placed in it and have a go. Looks like Goodsie has another club to build for me!!

Two utility clubs up for sale which might be of some use to someone. First up is a TourStage X-UT 17° shafted with Graphite Design UT-95 stiff. Gamed this for some time before the RC replaced it. Still in serviceable condition and no marks on top of the head. I would rate it a at a 7. Current grip is Golf Pride Tour Wrap cord. $80 Second up is G-Field 3 utility. Its been so long I don't remember the loft but I think its either 20 or 21. It does have sky marks on margin of face as its been through a few hands of people I know. Still a serviceable club for those who are looking for a cheap utility and may even want to restore. Current shaft is a Graphite Design UT85 in x-stiff. Gripped with a Golf Pride Multi-cmp New Decade grip in red/black. $70 Prices are shipped and paypal'd, will welcome all questions and all offers. Yes these clubs are on the older side and are used but are still in working order and could use a home. They're not doing any good sitting in my closet.

  21. I've been playing the KBS Tours and I'm killing the 5,6,7,8 in mine. Of late my 3 and 4 have been fine but not like the others. Could be age, could be shaft. I'm playing around with a few options for those at the moment. I've often thought about the C-Tapers but was told they weren't much of an improvement over the current Tours. I haven't hit them as of yet so I really can't comment. Of late everyone here as me thinking Modus until I read one report that they're higher than the KBS which had me out at that point. Also I think one posted said they had trouble hitting knockdowns with them and that's a shot I love to play with so no need even thinking any more for me on those. While I like the feel of the NS, I've always thought I lost too much distance to spin. At present, the KBS wedge shafts in my wedges are ideal for flight, and feel. The KBS Tours have been very good for me in feel and spin. My swing is really top notch at the moment and I had a very good four hour range sesshy the other day. Killing everything but the 3 and 4. I might just need to step down in flex for those irons and stick with what I've got in everything else.

KBS tour in black-nickel. 6.5. Goodsie made this for me to hit low bullets and I was going to take it with me when I competed in the Open Championship (lol). No but seriously, I had made to hit very low shots off the tee with it. Its a good club, but something about it just never got on with. I think its the offset of it. I'll get some pics posted very soon.

I know this is a late response, but Goodsie does all my work as well and I'm a little down the road south of you, LA area. Clubs sing when he's done with them. If you don't get what you're looking for from the shop you've found, drop Goodsie a PM. He really is that good.

Hey C, not sure if this is what you're after but I've got a Miura IC6001 2-iron that Goodsie put together for me awhile back. I've only used it very sparingly so its still in very good condition. I had bought to play around with and experiment with, just didn't catch on with me. Let me know if you're interested.
