Glad you like it. I'm down to 2 drivers: RX-1 Type315 and J340.... Note: my ho'ing days are nearing end. I'm just contemplating my 3-iron to 5-wood spot and maybe my putter. After this, I'm set....No changes for a very, very, very long time--for the sake of consistency. Yeah right... :P

The TS 202's would be a good choice for forgiveness if he is looking for TourStage. Very good forged Cavity Backs.

Hard to say how you rate wear on clubs. If they are scratched up and have some nicks, I'd say $550 maybe. That would be for 3-PW. Faq, here are some pics, being sold on ebay, I'm negotiating right now. Let me know what you think, or any additional thoughts from anyone else would be appreciated. Thanks They look pretty nice. It's hard to tell from photos, but if you trust the guy, and you want them... Personally I might go as high as $700 maybe a little more if I really wanted them. There aren't going to be any more of these. You have to decide how much they are worth to you. You can always get them refinished too!

Overlap not interlock. I get less restriction that way. It's easier to get my wrists turned.
  6. That's why god made the stuff after that on one side only. So you could install them graphics down.
  7. Great Photos. I'd really be interested to get the specs on those shafts. Thank you Scoop!
  8. Just an FYI --- Chris, those kinds of watermarks are too easy to get rid of. A true watermark is opaque and if you try to Photoshop it out, you ruin the image.
  9. Hah, I'm going to start calling Chris "Scoop".
  10. Chris those are awesome photos. Thank you! Nice shoes too.
  11. Great links! I like the thumbnails of the site too. Thanks.
  12. Chris, Great photos. I'm going to link this page at Golf Digest. There are many Mizuno fans there that would appreciate this. For me - I'd have to go with the TourStage. The offset is a deal breaker on the Mizuno's.
  13. Bomba, my vote for conforming Japanese is either the 8.5* Maru Spec or the 9* 325cc or 390cc X-Drive. The Maru can be a bear if you are up to it.
  14. Hey Smith, welcome to the coolest golf forum on the web. Everything within reason. Access to the latest and greatest shafts, clubs and workmanship. Good chat, good folks and great golf.

Per Fairway Fred. "What the heck is that Dancing Green Thing?" (TourSpec Golfer's Avatar) Is there a link for a description or is it phallic or what the hell is it? :D
  17. This shaft plays a little stiff to begin with. If you are a strong swinger and don't have any trouble with Trajectory then go for it. Just keep in mind that it's a higher kick and it's going to be stiff. I don't like to play any shaft in the 983 when it's not fully inserted. The club is made that way. I buy my shafts with that in mind.
  18. Joe: Go back a couple of pages and look at my posts. I posted the photo in this thread. MCSub sent the photo to me to post. Jim Jim, I saw that picture and that picture was the reason i post a reply on this but obviously mc sub being a little to touchy. If you look at my first reply, did I said anything bad or good about it or degrading? Not that i know of, I was just sharing my experiences. I will post on a different thread if you want to hear the whole story again about why they've used copper underlay back then. joe Nah, it's ok. I know some of the story behind these and although I agree the finish is different, I think these were, in fact, done at the TourStage factory. They were done to complete existing orders as this set was one of the last to come out of the factory with this finish. A very limited number. :) That's why there are some minor differences in the finish. But, great irons nonetheless and absolutely collectors items in every way. The Z's, in my opinion, are one of the best irons out there and these (MCSubs) are classics. I wish he would sell them to me! They will always hold their value.

  20. Just get them from a place that will give you a 30 day playability guarantee. http://www.tgw.com/customer/category/produ...ATEGORY_ID=3746 You probably won't be returning them anyway!
  21. Here's a photo that MCSub sent me of the Z's to post...
  22. Easy to get. You might not want to get the work done by TourStage. In fact, I bet Joe Kwok here could get them for you as well. Joe's email is [email protected]. He absolutely does the best work.
  23. The brushed are the same as the chrome. Thanks MC Good to know....Thanks. Jim, I wasn't questioning you on the information. Sorry if it seemed that way. I was just saying that that information was news to me. I've reshafted them to the DGs yet but now I'm pretty sure the difference in feel between my 2 sets was the shaft. Dwayne, Don't worry bud. I know we are all trying to get to the truth here. I wanted to know for sure as well. Hope your Thanksgiving is the best ever and you're a good guy to have around here, that's for sure. :D
