Golf Gear - New Shaft Shootout?
Is there a 45-50 m/s category? My current swingspeed is 112-117 in mph. It seems that in every class different shafts come alive that didn't fair as well in different swing speed brackets. I am going buy a high end shaft for my driver, but want it to be the right fit for swingspeed and launch conditions. Currently I am playing a Cleveland Hi Bore XL tour 8.5* with a VS Proto 60X shaft. Launch is a little low (10-11*) , and spin is a little high (3200-3400). Roddio WA, Rombax X series, Quattro Tech, and Ozik Altus on top of my list. What do you guys think?

Tourstage Fiarway Woods
I too am interested in the differences between the x-st and new x-drive fairway. What changes did they make in the x-drive. I did notice the turbo rubber dampening is gone. I have the x-ut hybrid, and is one of my favorite clubs in the bag (by far the best utility I have ever hit) Which fairway wood will play most like the hybrid as far as the ball flight and feel assuming shafts are similar?

The All New 2007 Epon Technity Fairway Wood!
Can you sell the heads only? What would you compare the face depth to? They look really nice in the pics.

x-ut Hybrid users
Just picked up a 904hb shaft to put in the x-ut. I will let everyone know the outcome.

x-ut Hybrid users
Those playing the tourstage x-ut hybrid what shaft are you using and what is the ballflight like? I just picked up a 19* and want a shaft that will have a penetrating ball flight; any suggestions appreciated. I was thinking 904hb. Anyone using this combo? btw what is the tip size for the x-ut

Anyone know when this will be available? They already have great photos of it on g-one-golf.com It looks really good, and I'm sure it will have great shaft options.

Anyone playing the prgr T3 black?
Pictures from a previous post look amazing. I really want to pull the trigger on this one, but I am concerned about the 9* loft. I have always played 7.5 and 8.5 degree drivers. Does anyone have any feedback on the launch and spin characteristics of this head? Also, If anyone has hit or is playing this driver what are your impressions? Thanks in advance

Srixon Z-steel fairway
I just got the specs off the srixon Japanese website, and it says the face angle is 2* closed. Can you special order a square face angle?

Srixon Z-steel fairway
Chris or anyone else, any feedback on these fairway woods? They look really good. g-one-golf.com has some excellent pics of the clubs. Are you able to upgrade the shafts in fairway woods? I noticed in the catalog it only has the stock shaft listed for z-steels. I really want the 14.5* if they hit as good as they look. I am really impressed with Srixons current Japanese offerings. Thanks in advance

MP60 Vs. MP27
I agree with the mp-60 camp. I think they are better looking clubs than the mp-27's, but you can't go wrong with either set.

Nippon Shafts 1150 Vs 1050
They actually aren't that stout. I had to hardstep my 1150's in x-flex to get them to frequency like dynamic gold x-100s. If you softstep them it sounds like they will be very playable for you.

Nippon Shafts 1150 Vs 1050
I couldn't agree more, I just put nippon 1150's x-flex in a set of mp-32's, and they are the flat out best steel shaft I have hit to date. I have played x100's for the past 8 years, and thought I would never change. I've tried flighted rifles, standard rifles, project x's, tour concepts, and just didn't get the trajectory and feel I got from the x100's. Well to all x100 users try a set of 1150's x-flex hardstepped one time. You will not regret it. The flight is perfect, maybe a hair higher than the dynamic golds, but never any ballooning. Actually these shaft have given me an extra 5 yards on average per iron, but where these really shine is the feel category. The mizunos paired with the nippons is just perfect. I never thought I would get this excited over a set of steel shafts, but these are the real deal.

Anyone using the GD ut-95 hybrid shaft
I have a driver swingspeed of 115/117mph, and have played the 904hb, and even I don't like the feel. I got a nice ballflight, but it just lacked the feel I'm used to from other high end fujis and gd's. I thought maybe a gd ut-95 x could be the solution. I don't mind a little higher ballflight as long as there is no ballooning. Thoughts?

Sorry, you can move this to the tour and import forum- I just realized I posted this in the BST.

Anyone using the GD ut-95 hybrid shaft
Hello all, Is anyone using the ut-95 hybrid shaft in a rescue type club. I am interested in how it performs against the fuji 904hb and other heavier weight hybrid shafts. Thanks John

anyone used the Zomo Z-Zero mallet
Chris or anyone else on the board, have you used the z-zero putter. I really like the looks from the pics in the catalog, but can't really get a feel for the size. How big is it? What would you compare it to. Thanks John

New Scratch Satin proto cb's x100's
Sorry guys I just got back into town tonight. I had no idea these would create such a stir. I will try to get pics to those who have asked, but the pics that are in the post by shreveport golf are accurate. If I hadn't told you that I hit a few of the irons you wouldn't know.

New Scratch Satin proto cb's x100's
Brand New Scratch Satin proto cb's. These are the clubs that were in shreveport golfs post. I got these and have not even played a round with them. I have hit a few of the clubs, but have decided to stick with my blades. You will not be dissapointed if a players cavity back is your thing. These are 9.9/10 (you can't tell they have been hit). The clubs are 3-pw with DG x100's. They were built to standard scratch lie angles, but the lofts are 1* strong. 38" 5 iron. The weight is d4 and they have tour velvet grips. I am asking $1000 shipped. pm me with trade offers and questions. Thanks John
