  5. Tour issued 7.5* 510 deep face titanium on toe with rare fuji blue tourspec pro70nt x- flex. 45" d6 so its a heavy head. cpm's to 274. some sole and face scratches from use, but crown is in great shape. 8.5/10 $550 Tour issued 9.5* 510 deep face titainum on toe with fuji skw x-flex. 44.5" d2 swingweight with some lead tape. cpm's to 274. Normal scratches on sole and face from use, but crown is great. 8.5/10 $550 rare srixon pro-100 blades 3-pw. I picked these up from a relative who is sposored by srixon. They have no serial numbers and x-100 dynamic gold shafts. d2- d2+ on all swingweights 37.75 off the 5-iron. By the way these are some of the nicest blades I have ever hit. Some bag chatter from use, but still in nice shape 8.5/10. $850 Titlesist 962b satin 3-pw. I had these clubs refinished at the iron factory, and the did a great job. The heads are brushed satin. This is one of the greatest head designs of all time, and you must see them in satin. I don't know the story behind this set, but they don't have the 962b stamp on the clubs. They do have serial numbers on all heads which is an indication that they were a special order from titleist. x-100 shafts 38" off the 5 iron. d3+ swingweight. 9/10 condition. I have only hit them on the range after the refinish. $350 Scotty Cameron 2002 NPB studio stainless. This is the one with out paintfill on the hosel. 34" 8.5/10 condition. comes with headcover and pivot tool. $150 I can send pics of all these items, and as always if not satisfied I will refund your money. Thanks for looking John
  6. I remember seeing this driver in the pics of the Japanese golf fair and thinking it looked like a great club. I really want to try one.

Just my 2 cents, but I don't think the v1x's start to shine until the higher swingspeeds like 110+. I know my brother actually lost distance when he switched from the regular prov1.
  9. Any more feedback on the gauge fairway wood? It looks really nice from the pics.
  10. that gold's factory tuned GD is sweet
  11. that gold's factory tuned GD is stunning :smile1:
  12. I too am a high ball hitter, and the best combo I have found is a steelhead III 15* shimmed open to 13*. I hit bombs with this thing, and best of all no ballooning.

I'm sure if you do a search you can find more pics. I recall seeing the cavities a few different occasions.
  14. I agree- I see no advantage in using the precept name which already carries a negative connotation with many people. Stick with the elusive TourStage moniker. I don't know the market well enough to say if they should change the precept ball line to tourstage as well, but its seems even that could use a boost.
  15. I have not hit the ts ball, but my top three are the hx tour, pro v1x, and the srixon hr-x 333.
  16. congrats on the sweet sticks. Those are sweet.
  17. Tha is a sweet putter zip. The driving iron is nice too.

I have some Scratch brushed nickle wedges on the way. I can't wait to get them with all the rave reviews I have been reading. I got a 53* with weight slots and a 56*. I got Ari to make them the shape of nike wedges, which I love the shape of- but detest the feel. Hopefully these will be the best of both worlds. I do play a 60* cleveland 588 tg rusty as well-this club will never leave the bag as long as the grooves hold up.
  20. Rac mb's satins?
  21. A friend of my dads handed me one other day- he was raving about them. I hit it and was unimpressed. We do have very different swingspeeds to be fair. He is in the 85-90 mph range I am in the 118-120mph range so that is probably the reason. I don't know which model the ball was, but if you have a higher s.s. you will probably want to stay away.

I had an 869 x in an l-ff, and thought it was a great club. I think the bore through in the titleist stiffened the tip up considerably. It was still more carry than I get with my current setup. I still agree with the others- this shaft is best suited for fairway woods.
  23. This peaks my interest even more for the jc371. great review.
