  1. Shep the White is pretty low spin as it is! The MD6 would be a pretty good choice as would an X-Con 6. With your swing speed and agressive move, you're borderline X-Stiff and Stiff, for the Ozik that would be okay as you could get Strong flex which is between Stiff and X-Stiff. For the MD6, if when you go at it, you think you reach 112-115mph then I'd suggest the X-Stiff.
  2. PM Chris for the killer price... it's way below that. (^_^)
  3. You've had quite the few months of new driver testing.... quite an arsenal to choose from!
  4. It should be around D0-D2 at stock length.
  5. I was formerly an Iomic user but last year switched to No.1 grips for their softenss and tackiness. I'm actually finding I like the really brand new Epon grips that are based on Golf Pride Tour Velvet style. They are tacky enough but not quite as thick as the No.1 (I even use 48 series) which allows me to turn over more quickly as I have smaller hands.
  6. I actually play the UT-55 in my hybrids. Amazing shaft and the perfect match for my irons which use AD-65. Nice feel, stable trajectory and control.
  7. Remember there are actually two models in the 9003 series, the 9003 and P9003. The 9003 Chris speaks of is the more user friendly one and is in the mid 70g range and has a S and X flex. The P9003 is the 80g X flex only. Both do get play on the JPGA but not nearly as much as the Quattro tech. The 9003 has been geared towards those really hard hitters who like it stiff a la 757 feel. If you want the characteristics of taking the left out of play but more feel then your best bet is the MD series.
  8. Hey shepherd, which weight are you looking for and what feel do you prefer, ie a softer "feel" or stiffer feel.
  9. Very very good looking wedges. Saw these in person at the show... there was always a massive crowd around them as Fourteen wedges have very many loyal users. I'm not surprised their sold out... best looking Fourteen wedges ever.
  10. I had thought that at first, but after trying it, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. Felt good and performed well which helped.
  11. Very comparable. They are considered to be on the high end side with a lot of products made for a wide range of players from low to high handicap players as well as older players. Good quality stuff. TSG carries the whole line. Look for it in the pro shop soon or PM any of us for info. Thanks!
  12. It's not an insert, it's Bettinardi's MR (milled response) face. Precision milled for optimal roll.
  13. If it's based off the GFT design it will be relatively compact at 160cc plus or minus 5cc.
  14. Tried this the other day and liked the feel. Shallow face and very very easy to get the ball in the air. The 3 wood is 17* and very forgiving and easy to hit unlike many 3 woods out there today.
  15. I hit this at the range the other day and it was surprisingly very solid sounding, unlike most high MOI drivers which are very loud. Very straight driver and sets up real nice for its shape. I really like the FW's too.
  16. T sounds like your search is over and you may have finally found your gamer for this season! T
  17. The first new Epon pro caddy bag is now available in the pro shop! I know many of you were dying to get an Epon bag. This bag is classy and made of durable poly urethane. Stay tuned for more great bags from Epon!
  18. I will probably try: Epon AF-101 10.5* with Graphite Design Tour AD SL-5 Mizuno A25 3 Wood Mizuno A25 5 Wood Mizuno A25 7 Wood Yamaha Inpres X V Forged with Green Graphite Design Tour AD 75's Fourteen TS Spec Wedges Le Coq Sportif Caddy Bag
  19. Both will be in the shop along with new bags from Le Coq Sportif in the next couple of weeks!
  20. They won't necessarily feel the same. Feel can be affected by design, finish and shaft even if all the wedges are made from the same material. All are pretty soft though if that's what you're worried about (^_^)
  21. We do indeed use the Geotech pics... the N-16's are supposed to have little offest, they may look like they have more than what they have because of the semi goose neck they are trying to illustrate in the pictures.
  22. The Diamana's are definitely an option. I forgot to recommend them since they are not out till next month. Chris has I-10's in Miura MB-5003's right now... a lethal combo!!
  23. Since you want more weight, three good choices to consider are: Tour AD AD-95 (99 grams) AD-105 (107g) AD-115 (115g) Axiv 959M (89-110 grams) ascending weight Roddio I-10 (105 grams) These will all perform as good as steel in my opinion with better feel, shock absorption and distance. As you know I'm one of the ones who have converted to graphite in irons and not going back... there are a few of those here. (^_^) I also find that the graphite especially makes a big impact in long-mid irons, as they get shorter they naturally lose some of the feel which is maybe why the 759 in a wedge felt like nothing special to you. You should try and hit some of Chris' irons shafted with graphite as a test.
  24. Patrick those are indeed amazing wedges you are replacing. There are several candidates I think you could consider, the Epon 208KGX as well as the Royal Collection 6150TG. Both provide amazing spin and feel. Wonderful shape and setup and are very versatile because of their grinds, good from any lie and easy to open up. Both spin A LOT. The Epon's will have a slightly lower trajectory and you have three finish options plus numerous shafts. The RC have the milled faces like the GASII except an even finer milling. Another option is the Yamaha Inpres X but they may be a touch larger head wise than the other two.
  25. PRGR does not list stock shaft weights, which I can't understand why but my guess is it is betwen 55-60g in weight. T
