  1. Here are both Gauge and G-field Caddy's too, MCsub, you're probably right as Tourstage probably make the best quality bags in Japan.
  2. Very hard to get, but actually not bad looking...
  3. Chris may have better ones actually at address...
  4. I haven't had the pleasure of playing them yet, but from feedback in all the testing magazines, the E500 is one of Mizuno's best feeling irons ever, especially since they were forged by Endo. So we're talking soft and a high quality forged head. They are very forgiving, Mizuno says they are good for mid handicap to scratch golfers with a very large sweetspot. In Golf Digest Japan's recent tests, they ranked in highly in the forgiveness factor, falling behind only game improvement type JDM irons when it came to forgiveness. 2 degrees weaker is not a problem. It would not affect the iron's integrity or playability in anyway.
  5. Good feedback J! The softness you perceived might just be the bend profile of this particular shaft... most tip soft low kick shafts "feel" softer. The bottom line is that the Mach Line performs... and that's what NGS is working at... using research and mathematics to distribute shaft rigidity and to create a shaft that performs and as you said it perfectly, feels stable. As B said, the most important thing was that you couldn't hook this shaft even though it felt "softer" to you... and longer than the Axiv with lower trajectory? Wow~!
  6. The ONOFF bags are very sweet, being featured everywhere for being the most stylish and unique bag yet. Can't go wrong there!
  7. Woody type are definitely the G-Field, Tourstage ViQ, XXIO and Srixon. I'll get you some pics when my scanner gets up and running tonight, though you can see stock photos in the pro shop.
  8. This such an unbelievable deal.... less than half of retail!!!
  9. Very very hard to find as they are discontinued. There are both G-Field and Gauge Design Caddy bags as well as a Gauge carry bag. Chris used to be able to get the G-Field bags but I don't know if he can anymore.
  10. If you want high and easy to hit, and you like TS, the new ViQ utilities are SOOOO easy to hit. Ditto for the G-field ones if you can find one. Other easy utilities with high trajectory are the XXIO and Srixon utilities. The Td+ and X-UT and Fourteen UT-106 are also great but with slightly lower trajectory.
  11. Fair enough J, let us know how it goes!
  12. We have similar tastes my friend. Welcome to the world of TSG! Sasaya-san's soft black is simply amazing... If I could do it, I'd refinish all my putters like that, durable and so clean!!
  13. If it's too soft you can tip it too like you originally planned. I'm surprised that you're saying it feels softer than the Axiv but that is unshafted and uncut right? Specs show this to be a pretty stiff shaft.
  14. You know you want it J, just move some of your other gear to get it....
  15. Lot's a sweet wedges you got there! How many you gonna carry at one time (^_^)? One can never have too many wedges though so I like your style! The G-Field will be hard to get... as supply is real low. The rest you should have no problems getting through TSG heck Chris might even be able to track down a G-Field, you never know. A good shaft would be the Nippon NS Pro 1150GH Tour in S or X Flex. It's 121g and 1.5*(X) torque though mid kick not high, the trajectory is lower than other Nippon shafts.
  16. It's not necessarily that I like the epon's better than the fourteens, I just like trying new things, I consider myself a testing enthusiast (^_^)... my bag is changing all the time. I did like the V2's very much. Very clean design, good spin and feel. Just had to get the Epons. (^_^)
  17. Both very nice wedges with lots of spin. The V3 is a popular seller in Japan as it's geared more towards the mid and better player, while the J-Spec has the wider sole, bigger head and is geared towards the average to high handicap golfer.
  18. That's exactly what I love about it B, the soft black finish Sasaya-san uses is so clean and low maintenance too. That's what drew me to it... ^^
  19. J, Look forward to your feedback my friend. Indeed these shafts are hot! I see you ended up going with the Tour shaft. This shaft will be very very tight... the really stiff butt will provide superb feel, the low torque, low dispersion and if you can get your swing up to 110mph some real kick!! (^_^)
  20. The X and Technity are quite similar in shape and dimensions but with different finishes and slightly different grooves. They are both made from soft S20C. The X has the Copper finish which oxidizes and changes over time but gives a very soft feel, it is also available in satin and for a limited with NiCr20. The Technity has the sharper grooves which spin like mad but can be tough on balls sometimes, it comes in Satin and a Black finish only, I think it was available in NiCr20 for a limited time too. The HG is only available in copper and has 3 lofts only (the X and Technity have 5 loft choices). It is also S20C. The HG top width and sole width are identical with the back "scooped" out for a super high center of gravity. This apparently produces a low trajectory high spin kind of shot. I've only tried the X model and I love it. Straight and soft feel. Good spin. Durable finish.
  21. Hey Fe, Epon has great feel and looks. Super performers. And as B said, lots of options and models to choose from. Tourstages new wegdge is also a looker and apparently puts a lot of spin on the ball. Definitely a lot of options to choose from but I'd go for one of these two. T
  22. I've been hitting the Roddio for over a week now. I absolutely love it. I actually think it has more feel than the Axiv, just as much kick. I've got it shafted up with a Inpres X 460D that I got from Chris... I'm hitting it straighter and longer than my Epon/Axiv combo... Really happy with this shaft!
