Makeover is not done yet! Still working on a lot of things. For Seven (they are no longer called Seven Hills - but Seven Advanced Design or Seven for short), the info will come in time. Wedges are S25C and either forged at Kyoei or a smaller factory (which I cannot disclose yet) in Himeji depending on the model. Irons are coming. A full line of SUS303 putters are coming too. More info later this month.

You spoke to Taka-san who as duffer mentioned is the international agent for Epon but based in Taiwan. I doubt he sounded unhappy about being in Taiwan as he loves it there and when I saw him in Taiwan just a few months ago he was very happy. Endo has NO foundry in Taiwan.
  5. Beautiful putter with gold and brass accents which go awesome with the soft black! toki designed this one all on his own!
  6. Just an update on the Crazy front. While not finalised yet, it appears Crazy will recover from their problems which is good news for all of us. We should have more info later this month!
  7. For me the Air beats the Nitro not necessarily in looks but overwhelmingly in options (Kamui Pro is not made to specs) Like all Kamui Works drivers the KM200 Air is made from scratch to customer real specs and finished by hand. 7-13* loft 5* to 62* lie 2* open to 2* closed Conforming or Non conforming Face Choice of crown color, now including white Choice of head bias, ie neutral, draw or fade Choice of the amount of air pressure injected (based on swing speed)
  8. It's official it seems, they accepted my order for a combo SB01 SC01 set... so looks like combos are okay now!
  9. Reserved for technical details.
  10. These two are at it again.... Kamui Pro vs Kamui Works. Nitro injection vs Air injection.
  11. The proper name is in fact the TP-07 NITRO. Kamui Pro came out with the NITRO and now its interesting to see the much more customizable Kamui Works come out with the KM-200 AIR.
  12. Titleist just had their product announcement here in Japan today. There is the VG3 Iron and the VG3 Iron Type E The VG3 Iron has similar size, offset and lofts to the previous models with changes to the weighting, cavity AND materials. The body is forged from S20C steel matched with a new forged S45C face! The reason for the S45C is that it is stronger than S20C so can be made thinner and hotter for even more distance. The Type E has even stronger lofts, is considered oversize ie it will compete with XXIO and other average golfer higher handicapper models. The Type E uses a S45C forged body and ST1770 face which is in fact very similar material wise to the XXIO Forged. We should have demos soon but we may see them first at the show in a couple of weeks.
  13. Sure I can send it to you but if you want one I have a head here with your name on it.
  14. Craig of course wanted one of the rare SM490A heads modified by Gold's for his collection so he emailed me for an order along with some wedges. He basically said, "I leave the designs up to you Tario". Luckily I have worked with Craig so many times on his orders I have a sense of what he likes but this time I wanted something different. I decided to come up with a theme first and what better theme for a putter than PURE. Not only in feel but looks. I asked Sasaya-san to use a Damascus insert which I felt would pair nicely with the SM490A body. Feel of any golf club is not only dependent on the face but the body the face is attached to. I also decided to try something different, Sasaya-san milled the BACK of the insert. Yes not the front but the back. The idea behind this was like a driver with variable thickness face. With original PZ milling on the back, certain parts of the insert were now thinner than others. This would create a very unique feel IN THEORY (of course we had never tried this before). I had the putter finished in a white satin and ZERO paint fill. The Japanese kanji for PURE was engraved on the sole. Still the putter looked like most other anser style/pin putters so I had Gold's cut the neck off and weld in a short neck for center shaft matched with a Dark Chrome heavy and stepless Shimada Putter shaft. Well here are the results... I will post the matching "PURE" wedges up a bit later after I shoot them. I should note I have putted around the house with this and the feel is unbelievable... Like a forged Ti driver, spongy, soft, unique.
  15. Super Peening officially discontinued. But stock still remains. The Modus is not a direct replacement and considered a new line all together.
  16. Yes all the Seven putter so far have had my design input... its getting to the point now where people just email me and say "Tario you design it!!" It is lots of fun though!
  17. Guys the wedge is craigs, the putter is not. But you gave away the surprise.... even Craig does not know what I design for him!! (^-^)
  18. We have some grips that we ordered in for a customer and he decided to cancel but we could not stop the order in time so we need to move these. 30 x Tour G Multi Compression Golf Grips - Color: Black - Model: Tour G 70 Cord - Other: Round These are great for the stronger player who wants a cord grip with minimal twisting. 19. The options as of this year have changed a bit. We ragged on them for not being truly custom if they cannot keep up with Yoro type options. So they have expanded their options..... A LITTLE BIT. Custom grinds of any sort are now available. Custom finish including chome mirror, chrome satin, flat black and gun blue are now available. Initials are no problem. We still cannot remove stampings (trust me I bitched about this and still do to them). Combo sets is the gray area, and they have not officially said no so I submitted an order in this weekend to them for a combo SC01 and SB01 set in gun blue. We shall see what they say but so far they have not said no!
  20. Also what makes Miuraism stand out from other "Miura" models is they are made on order, choice of finish, grinds, heads are hand picked by Miuraism for weight and consistency plus they can make the heads to the weight you want not just standard weight retail heads. The models are also not sold as heads only, because it is full service including the build only done by top Miuraism craftsment installing your choice of shafts and grips. Craig can chime in on how good Miuraism is, he is a huge believer.
  21. Honestly both are soft. Depth is similar on both millings they are just different milling patterns. The original focused more on soft touch and forward roll. The Next gen included crescent style milling to reduce side spin.
  22. VG3 offset and size is comparable to the AP2. I had a comparison post somewhere around here. 2012 VG3 is already discontinued. 2014's next month!!
  23. Everything is at least a size up... AT LEAST. ie I am a Small in the West but a Medium in Japan. If you are an L, you are at least LL or XL.
