tour-md
I've tried accessing the catalog section on tsg but was unable to view the irons available for sale. Anyone have pics of GD irons (blades and CBs)? tmd

siteseer2
Ya' know... I gotta tell you, I've been fiddling around trying to put something in the bag that was more foregivng... been a forged blade guy, but very limited practice and play had me searching for foregivness... tried several sets of X-tours, Ping I3s, TS 202s, and then on a lark put the GD forged cavitys in the bag after they had been sitting in the closet... these are amazingly foregiving... they have a larger profile, and thicker sole but still look very classic and blade-like, albeit in a larger clubhead with thicker topline and longer heel to toe profile... Gauge Design really came up with a winner-- great looks, super quality and very soft-- yet amazingly foregiving... I know Chris has been singing the praises of the NC1s... after giving the forged cbs a number of good sessions, I can now see why... kudos to Gauge Design... don't know how they packed so much foregiveness in a players-type iron.... TheHawkmc
Anyone playing with the Gauge Design Muscle Backs yet? I'm in the market for a new set of irons and really like their look. Was wondering about the feel, trajectory and forgiveness (looks like lower center of gravity). Tx,

I'm in the market for a new set of irons and really like their look.  Was wondering about the feel, trajectory and forgiveness (looks like lower center of gravity).  Tx, Yes I had the MB's in the bag before the NC-1's they are the same great stuff. Same shape as the machine made NC-1's but with a topline 1mm smaller. The long Irons are a dream to hit, and I would say the MB's are about 20% less forgiving than the NC1's which makes them still more forgiving than the majority of players CBs on the market. Same soft feel and I cant reccomend any MB more highly and these are even difficult for me to get so I havent been selling many in late due to the wait. plus1
i can back chris up here...i had the mbs at the start of this year and found them unreal eeasy to hit... i actually have noticed NO difference in the mbs and the nc1s..both look like players clubs, have better feel than any players club on the market and yet play far more forgiving! if you can get a set.....BUY THEM!
Aluinser
I also concur with Chris with the MBs. Being a very sick HO I have bought many sets during the past 12 months, but none came close to my MBs with NSPro 1050. Very soft and despite the thin top line it gives me confidence over any other set I have hit this year, and there are quite a few sets believe me. The softness and feel is addictive. Will be reshafting to NSPro 1150 Tour in search of a slightly lower ball flight this week. Hope it all works out.
plus1
hope it works out aluinser......im similar to u in that i constantly change my equipment! but since trying the gauge stuff...i simply cannot justify changing. i still have the urge to change and still try out other clubs....but none of them can put the gauge out of the bag!
