+TourSpecGolfer
Its got what they call a neo G core that decreases spin and increases distance. Its a ball geared to the good player actually giving them performance gains. If you guys haven't had the chance to hit any of the new Tourstage balls, they are the best IMO they just released a new version X01 series and now this new V10. HoMStYLz
this ball is the sh*t. there was a Japanese pro hitting balls next to me the other day at Lake Jovita & he came over to ask about my TM stuff & got the talking & went out & played. He had a bag full of Tourstage stuff which was sweet & gave me a sleeve of these balls & i'd drop the prov1 in an instance. I cant type his name so I'm not even gonna try but his parents I think are the ones that played with us (they didn't speak much english) & they too had bags full of Japan spec equipment (obviously being from Japan). If I see them around at Jovita in the next week I'll snap pictures. But whoever can get this ball use it, you wont go back to the prov1, me I've got no choice because I can see paying that much for something I already get... damn!! acrazygolfer
Interesting dimple design with the "double dip" .... decrease drag and increase lift? for better and straighter flight?
xxio
Interesting dimple design with the "double dip" .... decrease drag and increase lift? for better and straighter flight? Also interested about the dimple within the dimple. I first noticed those on the last XXIO ball that came out 6 months or so ago.
HoMStYLz
the feel was very soft, suprising softer than the ProV1 IMO. very good feedback around the greens & spin it well on hard fast greens. it just took a bit getting used to control spin with this ball. goes forever with the driver & has a great flight with the irons, very flat & boring. if you have the loot to shell out i'd say get a dozen to try. BTW i can't remember seeing any huge scuff marks after hitting wedges, or maybe i really didn't look at it afterwards b/c i was only given a sleeve. shoe295
So how does this V10 compare to the X01? I think I saw that Paula Creamer was playing the X01, does anyone know if that means Precept is going to sell a model similar to the X01 in the near future? +TourSpecGirl
There was lots of hype on this ball at the golf fair, but the TourStage rep was pretty vague talking about this ball. And the language barrier didn't help much.. The TS V10 is a high performance ball that was described to have the spin and control of the X-01 balls, yet the distance of SUPER NEWING ball (known for its distance in Japan). And get this one...there is color options as well. Here are some pics. You can clearly see the dimple within the dimple design.

I think I saw that Paula Creamer was playing the X01, does anyone know if that means Precept is going to sell a model similar to the X01 in the near future? I saw Paula using a Tourstage ball, she was putting on the practice green with 2 sleeves of them out, unless Precept somehow puts their name on clearly a Tourstage product which I highly doubt

Tourstage tech has a history of "filtering down" to Precept/Bridgestone. The TS balls of 4 years ago the <UX>, <USs> sereis eventually became the UTri series. Hopefully the X01s will filter down as well. I feel that the X01H is very similar to the B330Tour. The X01 has been long overdue to "filter down". I actually thought the B330 would be it but the dimple count was different from the X01 and X01S. The X01H which was released a year or so after the X01 and X01S (I don't play it, too hard feel for me) I think has a 330 dimple count though. If the X01 and X01s ever get rebadged for the US market you will all be surprised about the performance of these balls considering they would be having "ancient 3 year old technology" in them. If the V10 does have the playability of the X01 and the distance of the Super Newing then courses under 7,000 yards will truly become obselete. Lance99
Sounds intriguing will definitely have to try these out. I've always wondered why golfballs haven't migrated earlier to the States from Japan like some other golf clubs. It's interesting to note that all the major Japanese Golf co.'s are Tire ones.
