Posted February 4, 201411 yr Kamui Pro KP-102 Forged Irons (S20C) More brands are using S20C now in Japan, not from Endo but other factories. I must say this set looks much better than the KP-201, the lofts are a bit strong but overall this iron looks promising.
February 4, 201411 yr Wow, this one looks good! This one goes through a 5x forging process to create soft feel. (3x with 800 ton pressure and finished with 2x 1000 ton pressure) It has a CNC milled face (as well as cavity) to give it a very reliable feel and spin control. It has a rounded off sole design to and versatility in various lies. It was designed to keep a sharp appearance at address while achieving a good level of forgiveness. It has a top line measuring 5mm thickness and minimal FP (3.5mm)

February 5, 201411 yr nice . very strong lofts. to be honest i like the look of the 101s this one reminds me of the GS mono CB 3d? any more pics of the cavity from different angle?
February 5, 201411 yr Looks great, especially the low offset. Might be the deepest cavity I've ever seen, must launch the ball high with all that weight down there, maybe that's why the strong lofts?
May 14, 20222 yr You had a set of KP-101 way back Ian if I remember rightly. Thinking of picking a set up or already have.? They look nice. Forgiving. Could be a bit bouncy in dry conditions with the wide sole. Unless the leading edge has be killed.

I seem to play more in the winter than the summer anyway, weirdly, so the wide sole won't be a problem. As you say, forgiving. Hopefully work out a treat.

Lovely weather, watched the FA Cup final with a few beers then watched the Eurovision with my 2 boys (8 & 10). The 8 year old picked Ukraine as his second favorite, so he won the bet.
